Your favorite CS and why?

I have some days where we will only be using counter service and wanted to know what CS you loved in each park and why...

MK - Cosmic Rays, huge selection of all types of food plus they have a killer topping bar

EPCOT - Morocco...great food and super huge portions, enough to share

MGM - non blech

AK - Flame Tree BBQ...very good food

DTD - WPE, amazing food, fresh brewed mango ice tea, large portions at a great price

My all time favorite CS is Tusker House but they are turning it into a buffet. GRRRRR!

New favorite is the Columbia Harbour House at the MK (near Haunted Mansion)

EPCOT - we just eat around the world - spliting entrees at different countries

AK- Pizzafari


MGM - Flatbread Grill (studio catering)

DTD westside- Wolfgang Pucks for sushi bar

Marke tPLace - Earl of Sandwich

Epcot- Electric Umbrella, really good burger and fries

MGM Toy Story Pizza Planet

Magic Kingdom - Main street Bakery

MK- Pecos Bills (gotta love the toppings bar) Second choice is probably the Columbia Harbor House.

EPCOT - Sunshine Seasons in the Land Pavillion (great selection of items - not the same old thing)

STUDIOS - We generally don't eat a lot of counter service here, but our kids like to have breakfast at the Commissary.

AK - Loved Tusker House, but that is going to buffet. Our other favorite is the Flame Tree. If it's a nice day, there's nothing better than getting some food from the Flame Tree and sitting over near the water with a view of Expedition Everest across the way.

MK--Casey's. I normally do not eat hot dogs. But since my very first trip to WDW, eating a hot dog and fries and a Coke (and I normally don't drink sodas) in front of the castle just makes me feel like I'm on vacation.

MGM--I don't eat in MGM if I don't have to!

Epcot--I love tons of stuff in Epcot...pot stickers from China, open-faced sandwich from Norway, fish & chips from UK...our favorite thing to do is just get a little something from each country.

AK--Flame Tree, although Tusker House is DH's favorite and I am very disappointed it's going away!

DTD--Wolfgang Puck Express. The Margherita pizza will make you never want to eat any other pizza!

I feel the same about Casey's! I do not eat hotdogs...Except at Casey's also love there skinny fries and those oh so bad sodas.....ah five more days before my next hotdog

I can only comment on two parks

MK: Colmbia Harbour House- lots of different things I love here- most especially two of the sandwiches: the hummus and broccoli slaw sandwich and the tuna sandwich, which are great with the soup (vegi chili or clam chowder) here!

Epcot: Tangernine Cafe- love the platters, better food than some of the TS restaurants I have eaten in.


We rarely eat CS in MGM or AK, so I cannot comment on them, sorry.

AK- It's closing! It was tusker's but now I need to get a new one
MGM- Probably Al's Toy Barn, or Rosie's
Epcot- Liberty Inn

My favorite ANYWHERE at DW is Wolfgang Puck Express. The food is fresh, hot and delicious and there is a wide variety of non-traditional counter service food. Yum!!!
I do have favorites at each park...
MK - Columbia Harbour House (great tuna salad sandwich, and I usually don't eat tuna)
Epcot - Sunshine Seasons ( big variety and good food, great desserts!)
AK- Flametree BBQ, but Tusker House and Pizzafari are both real good, too)
MGM - Backlot Express is usually where we go (good burgers and a good grilled turkey and red pepper sandwich)

Epcot Sunshine Seasons - great selection, almost TS quality

MGM Pizza Planet - yummy pizza, large drink, dessert

in MK are all the CS indoor? I am looking to find something that isnt always Hamburgers, or chicken fingers, and that we can cool of in? Also, any tips on getting breakfast at some of these places??

the Columbia Harbour House (near Haunted Mansion) Is an indoor cs that I think is really good.

They have things like soup & 1/2 sandwich lunches. They also have an excellent tuna on multi-gran bread that is really good (and i dont eat tuna).
