There is so much talk about TS meals (not that I am complaining, I love reading those posts!) But what about COUNTER SERVICE meals?

Where is your favorite? What did you have? Details, please!

16 days and we are off to DISNEY!! :moped: :moped: :moped:

our favorite cs is to get one item at each CS at epcot...bratwurst at germany, churos at mexico, anything dessert like at france, fish and chips in england ( we split it all)

also like lamb platter at morraco

fountain view at epcot also is good for desserts ..choc. crossiants ( not as good as france bakery but they are open at breakfast so why not go to both:)

we were staying at pop and actually liked a couple meals we got there ( i got a decent shrimp lomein not " chinese rest. take out" but good, lots of shrimp, husband got a decent burger) Pepper market, husband got an ok steak there ( actually for the price good, just not like BD or LeCe.

pizzafari dessert pizza was good and other pizza ok

wolfgang express westside has great pizza

ghiradelli was fantastic for "lunch" of sundaes ( hey it's vacation) imo better than beaches

Tusker house , great cinnamon rolls for breakfast..honest we did not eat all sweets for 9 days!

I love alot of the counter places.

My favorites are Pirata y Perico at MK, Pizzafari at AK, Electric Umbrella at Epcot and so far, I haven't had much luck at MGM - ABC Commissary is especially dreadful. ;)

The All-Star food courts are wonderful too. :teeth:

Mine is the Tusker House 1/2 rotisserie chicken with veggies & garlic mashed potatoes, followed by a delicious piece of carrot cake!

Peco's Bill at MK is our favorite counter service. We just have a hamburger but it's the best in WDW in our opinion. The fixing bar is what makes it so good I put muschrooms, onions, etc on mine and then get some of the liquid cheese for my fries because calories on vacation don't count! :dog2: Alot of people love Beaches and Cream over at Beach club so we are gonna try it this year.

I love the Italian Sandwich at Pizzafari in Animal Kingdom.

My 13 year old always wants to eat at The Electric Umbrella at Epcot.

A few couple of that have already been mentioned: the Italian sandwich at Pizzafari and Pecos Bill's burgers with help from the fixins bar. A few more we liked were the fried chicken sandwich at Tusker House, fish and chips from Yorkshire County Fish Shop in World Showcase, fish and chips from Coumbia Harbour House MK, Casey's hot dogs, and, of course, the giant turkey legs!
I think WDW does a great job of offering lots of variety in their counter service locations. Much better than your average theme park. But then again, WDW is NOT your average theme park! :wizard:

We enjoyed the food court at All Stars, lots of variety for everyone. I am craving the london broil dinner there. Only 14 more days till we are there..... :cool1:

The Starboard Deck sandwich at the Columbia Harbour House at MK is wonderful. The fish there is excellent too. I hear from my DS that the chicken wrap at Pecos Bills is very good too.

Tuna Sandwich at Columbia Harbour House. Taco Salad at Pirata El Perico for MK CS

Tabbouleh Wrap platter at Tangerine Cafe. California Roll & Salad at Yakatori House in Epcot.

Rotisserie Chicken at Tusker House in AK

Pizza at Wofgang Puck Express or Sandwiches at Earl of Sandwich in DTD

Not impressed with CS in MGM so far. I have high hopes for the new Studio Catering Co tho. I'll know in a couple weeks how that is & will post a review.

It's not a trip to WDW until I have a cheeseburger at Pecos Bill's! Lunch at Tusker House was very good. And I love Pirata & El Perico at MK, but it's been closed the last couple of times we were there.

At MK it's the Columbia Harbor House, 1/2 Tuna sandwhich w/ a cup of clam chowder!
At AK: it's Tusker House's grilled Salmon!
At Epcot: for snack: pretzels in Germany
for mealL TAngine Cafe's shwarma platter
At Disney/MGM: y'know, I haven't done CS there yet!!! ANy suggestions?

Sara

We really like Wolfgang Puck Express for CS. :)

Ok, this is my kind of topic!!
At MK
Pecos Bills, burgers and chicken wraps are awesome, toppings bar great too!
Caseys best hotdogs and corndogs they also have a small toppings bar
Cosmic Rays, turkey bacon wrap w/side of pasta salad also has great toppings bar
AT EP
Cantina-great burritos, enchiladas and quesidias
Yakitori House-liked the terriyaki chicken
Bakery in Norway for a snack love the cloudberry horn pastry
Dessert cart in Italy cannoli
Bakery in France almost anything !!
In AK
we always get Turkey Legs
In MGM we normally eat a TS but this trip we will be trying Pizza Planet..
POR and ASMo food courts along with FQ in DQ wasnt bad either I tried the normal things like chicken taco salad or nachos, philly cheese steak and lots of breakfast items too..
My items of the snack carts are frozen bannas, frozen lemonaide, funnel cakes
With all the walking we do and swimming I dont actually gain any weight...

My favorite is Earl of Sandwich. Others that I really like are Columbia Harbour House, Sunshine Seasons, Tangerine Cafe, Cantina de San Angel, and Tusker House.
