We're planning our first trip to DW since having kids for either Oct/NOv 08. I know, it's way in advance, but i'm just soooo excited. Anyway, we're going to do the ddp.
What were your 5 favorite sit down meals?
What were your 5 favorite counter meals?

Any character dining exp. you recommend?

*My kids will be 2 and 6

TS Favorites from October 06
- Crystal Palace (MK) for dinner (my favorite as far as food - our server was horrible )
- Chef Mickeys - food was o.k. - kids loved the characters
- The Plaza Resturant in MK - food was super and the desserts (huge ice cream "creations" ) were great, service was slow - hated to waste a TS credit for sandwiches and no characters (even though they were great sandwiches) but we had to make a last minute change (due to circumstances beyond my control - I had to cancel Le Celliler ) this was the only place we could get 11 people in at the last minute
- Akershus in Epcot - breakfast was great - princess interaction was wonderful
- Hollywood and Vine (MGM)- dinner gets trashed on the boards but we love the character lunch - Playhouse Disney characters, lots of singing, dance lines going around the restaurant - we thought the food was good and had the best service here out of all the resturants we visited!

CS favorites from Oct 06
- Electric Umbrella in Epcot - I didn't think it was anything special but everyone else in our party liked it
- Pinocchio Village Haus (MK)- food was good, resturant too crowded to enjoy it
- Main Street Bakery (MK)- great place to use those snack credits, great for breakfast right after you enter the park
- Tusker House in AK (closed now)

After much research -
My list for October 07: TS - O'hanas dinner, Chef Mickey breakfast, Crystal Palace dinner, Akershus breakfast, Hollywood & Vine lunch, Epcot - Le Celliler, San Angel Inn, Biergarden

CS - Flame Tree BBQ in AK, Toy Story Pizza Planet in MGM, Cosmic Rays in MK, Epcot - Boulangerie Patisserie (snacks, maybe lunch)

Still up for debate - MK: Pinocchio Village Haus, Pecos Bill, MGM: Backlot Express, Flatbread Grill; Epcot - Sunshine Seasons, Electric Umbrella

Garden Grill (hands-down best character interaction)

CS:

Columbia Harbour House (Garden Galley salad - wow!)
Toy Story Pizza Planet (great salad here too!)
Only other counter service we did was Intermissions at ASMu, which had great Mickey waffles and fresh fruit/cheese plates. We did a lot of TS brunches or dinners so usually only ate 2 meals/day.
