I usually book In terminal car rental but found a good price on thrifty just wondered what your experiences are with the shuttle and thrifty.
Thanks

I don't know if the thrifty is anything like the thrifty at the Sanford airport but I won't ever go through them again. Yes you get a good price but I was told they work on commission and they take forever getting you set up with your car while trying to upgrade you and sell you the extras. After standing in line for 20 minutes watching multiple people receive their cars only to walk back in with problems I bailed. Walked over to Budget and had a car in 5-10 minutes.

Hated Thrifty. Took forever and the agent was surly. It took over 20 minutes to get my car because of the incessant hard-sell on all of the "extras". The agent was dishonest in describing the need for a SunPass and I wound up paying $52 for a pass, when the tolls between MCO and Kissimee where we stayed totalled about $6 round trip. The "return the car empty" price was exhorbitant...almost twice what it would have cost to fill the car with gas myself. The price I got on the car wasn't even that great. Never again for me.
