Your Epcot Touring Plan After New Soarin And Frozen (yecch) Open

We are doing two mornings, both rope drop, but couldn't arrange an AM EMH while we are there. Also, one of the mornings will be without FP+, because we are saving them for AK at night. We did TT twice last trip and generally aren't completely thrilled with it anyway. We are doing Soarin' at rope drop one morning. The other morning we are doing Soarin' FP+ and FEA at rope drop. This is an adults only trip, so when we go next with DS things will probably be different. Thankfully, we won't have to do SB for the A&E M&G.

I might not mind waiting in standby at rope drop if I can have school bread and a liquored up coffee or aquavit shot. By the way, does anyone know at what time they start selling alcohol in Epcot:rolleyes1 Seriously though, when?

It wont change my touring plans at all. My favorite rides in Epcot are Soarin and Gran Fiesta Tour. Yes I know the ladder makes weird, but at least I don't have to waste a fast pass on it. :tilt:

With the coming glut of Tier 1 FP choices, throwing in Anna and Elsa along with Joy and Sadness, Epcot is shaping up to be a touring nightmare this summer and for the near future.

What is your plan to handle this mess?

I am hoping Frozen will be a one and done as the kids are older and not into Frozen anymore. Soarin and TT will still be our priorities, so we will probably just ride one at RD and FP the other.
if you want to do sorrain TT and frozen this is how I would do it FP frozen do rope drop for soarrin then go over to TT and do single rider line or if you do not want to do single rider line go during illumination ( since this ride has not changed I think it the one you could miss or not all go together) the you have your FP for frozen

Go to EPCOT on the day the kids are at IOA. Fastpass Sorin and Fastpass Frozen.

Our plan for Epcot when we go next year will be a 2 day plan. First day we are going to get a PPO ADR for Akershus at 8AM (Hopefully). We will have a FP time for FEA for hopefully 9:30-10:30, hopefully this will give us time to RD the meet & greet. The next Epcot day we will have a FP gor TT and we are going to try to get a PPO ADR for Garden Grill so my hubby and older son can RD Soaring and I can take my toddler on Living w/ The Land

We are planning two Epcot days, but the first day we won't arrive until lunchtime. I am hoping to FPP Frozen late in the evening on our first day. On our second day, do Soarin at RD and FPP Test Track (or possibly the other way around). We aren't going until November, so my FPP day is still a little ways out.

We are a 4 some with the youngest being 18, and don't think any of us have even seen the Frozen movie, so Soarin got our Fast Passes. We have 3 day park hoppers (late June) and love Epcot at night, so the strategy for us is Day 1- HS in the morning the Epcot around 1pm with Fast Passes already made for Soarin, Mission Space, Spaceship Earth, and do the Singles line for Test Track (dinner at Chefs du France), Day 2- 3/4 day at Magic Kingdom w Fast Passes for Space Mt, Splash Mt and Big Thunder RR , walk on (hopefully) Pirates and Haunted Mansion (and not even bothering w 7Dwarfes looks too lame and short for the wait), will try to get a Fast Pass at Epcot for later in the evening after 3rd FP used at MK, dinner at San Angel and singles line again for Test Track. Day 3- early passes Fast Passes for Safari, Kali River Rapids, Expedition Everest, walk on Dinosaur and Lion King show, back to Wyndham Bonnet Creek for pool time, back to Epcot at night, again hoping for a Soarin FP after using up our FP at AK.
We have a non Disney day to relax at our resort after Day 2.

We only are interested in doing FEA and TT this trip so we are RDing TT then have FP for FEA when we are planning to be in WS.

When we were at Epcot last year it wasnt that crowded and the only ride with a line was Soarin. Test Track closed for the day -broken again -after first hour so that was off the table leaving only Soarin

We are going the same time this year and I am foolishly hoping that it will remain at the same light crowd level with a better dispersement of guests with the new FEA and meet and greets now open.

The FP tiering and non FP M and G are a real pain to plan this year. Plus we're not enamored enough with Epcot to give it more than one day. Still trying to figure out how to do it so we see it all in one day.

For a one day visit, Rope Drop Soarin', wait in line for Test Track, and use your Fastpass for Frozen.

I was thinking this would be our strategy. RD Soarin, ride TT as a single rider, maybe use a FP for Mission Space then use our tier 1 for Frozen. I'm hoping that there might be TT or Soarin FPs available for my NBFP magic bands.

We've got 2 EC days on our upcoming trip. Day 1 is PPO Garden Grill followed by Soarin' and a FP for FEA. On Day 2, we'll FP TT.

We're not going until September so I'm going to keep an eye on how things are going/ running before I firm up our plan. Right now we're going to RD Joy/ Sadness then meet Baymax and use our FP for Soarin' one day. 2nd day I'm planning on morning EMH - doing the mad dash to A&E meet / greet and then over to FEA (hoping that it too is open for EMH). I don't want to use 2 days worth of FP at Epcot so fingers crossed this plan works out

We will only have one day at EPCOT so we were thinking of doing Soarin' at rope drop and TT using single rider line if necessary. We'll get a FP for FEA for later in the day when we head over to World Showcase.
We have evening EMHs on the day we visit so I am hoping we may be able to get in a 2nd Soarin' and TT during this

I'll be at Epcot for 4 days, maybe 2 not sure yet. I know I'll FP Soarin and TT. Other than Spaceship Earth I don't plan on doing any other rides or M&Gs there.

I do think Epcot will be our most stressful park this summer due to the Tiers. But with a plan in mind, it may work just fine. My first Tier 2 throw-away is at 9-10. We'll tap it out and waste it or let it expire. Go on Frozen FP at 10. Right after tapping at Frozen, we'll go on App and try to move up a Tier 2 to hopefully 10:30, tap it to waste it after we are done at Frozen, then get on App to book 4th FP Tier 1.

We'll have a similar routine on our next Epcot day. We're staying at BWI (so a walk away from Epcot rides) and we also have hopping (AP's), so I'm pretty confident we'll get on all 3 Tier 1's. Though most likely not the ideal way....

All I can think is Epcot is going to very inaccurate wait estimates for the Tier 2's due to the massive amount of guests that are going to book them just because they have to...with no intention of actually riding them.
