With the coming glut of Tier 1 FP choices, throwing in Anna and Elsa along with Joy and Sadness, Epcot is shaping up to be a touring nightmare this summer and for the near future.

What is your plan to handle this mess?

I am hoping Frozen will be a one and done as the kids are older and not into Frozen anymore. Soarin and TT will still be our priorities, so we will probably just ride one at RD and FP the other.

We will have to hit EC twice. I will want to do the new Frozen ride and the new Soarin. Test Track breaks so much that I won't be heartbroken if we skip it this trip. We have terrible luck with fast passes there. I feel like WE WILL need fast passes for Frozen and Soarin. TT takes too long to get thru in my opinion.

This!! or TT gets rained out... Do Soariin for the FP,, TT also has single rider lines...

Our strategy is that THANK GOD we are doing 3 days at EP... So one day will be Soarin and other Frozen... One day we will be able to RD from Intl. gateway as we ware staying at the BC for the second half of our split stay... this RD on this side we will try for Frozen... Only this is does anyone know how the Akerhaus breakfast ADRS work..

is there also a pre-park crowd to fight against??

Isnt there also the ride and M&G?? so this might split crowds up.

Thinking positive, due to Frozen, maybe Soarin will not be so crazy... Frozen might pull some of this crowd... Think about it.. Soarin regardless of which movie, will always be"new" for first time visitors to EP and even for a repeat like myself Soarin was always a must-do.. I dont think there are many visitors who have seen the old movie and experienced Soarin and then never did it again and will only NOW re-ride due to new movie.. I cannot see the new movie making a difference in the end to historical wait times.. There is also the 3rd theater..

For a one day visit, Rope Drop Soarin', wait in line for Test Track, and use your Fastpass for Frozen. For a two-day visit, I would be inclined to Rope Drop Soarin' one day, then Rope Drop either Anna and Elsa or Test Track the second day and use my fast passes for Frozen assuming that I wanted to enjoy that ride both days. For us, Epcot has always been a two-day park so we will be able to adjust. But for people who want to complete the park in a single day, things are going to get very difficult.

I don't plan on doing anything different, other than riding FEA.

I'm not imagining Epcot will be much more crowded than it was before. Most people seem to hit Epcot at least once a trip anyway.

I love your thread title. :)

Our plan is to do something besides Epcot. For now. If we were to go to Epcot, Frozen is not on the agenda because we don't expect it to be much. I would have the same exact plan as you when it comes to Soarin' and Test Track.

We have 3 children and FEA was a MUST for my girls and TT is a MUST for my son so we are doing 2 days. I have FP+ for both those rides and will rope drop Soar'n on one of the days. We also so a EMH night so we may also try to his Soar'n then too.

FP for Frozen, Extra Magic Hours for Soarin and Test Track. That will allow you to get it all done in one day.

Two days...

Day one: PPO Akershus followed by A+E M&G, and FP for Soarin.
Day two: RD for TT and FP for FEA

We have two Epcot days (well 1 full and 1 half). I'm planning to RD Sadness/Joy and A&E meet and FP Soarin' and Frozen Ever After. And then just skip Test Track this trip.

We are heading to Soarin at rope drop with FP for FEA around 11.
We will spend most of our day at WS. Then we'll check for FP for Test Track for our way out sometime in the evening. We might have to skip Test Track this time.

Wait... A & E will be with Joy and Sadness? I missed this somehow. So will it be the same line for all 4? And then a separate one for Baymax? And still no FP+ options for any of these M&G correct? We will have 2 days in Epcot, will try to RD Soarin' both days, FP for TT on one on FEA on the other.

Two days at Epcot - no rope drop

Fp for Frozen on one day
Fp for Soarin on another day

Single rider line for TT whenever

I could see the two day suggestion if you have a hopper. Will you be getting a hopper?

We are going the week both the new Soarin' and Frozen open. Frozen doesn't open until almost our last day there, but we're also going to Epcot on the day we get to WDW. We're honesty hoping to catch a soft opening for Frozen while we're there the first day. We already had Soarin' FPs for our last day, and we don't want to give those up to do Frozen.

We'll be using 2 days of FP at Epcot in October. Frozen one day and Soarin the other. Test Track will have to be stand-by. I hate using 2 days of FP at Epcot, because the Tier 2 stuff is generally unworthy of using a fastpass. As it stands, we'll probably FP Spaceship Earth both days, the Character Spot one day and Mission Space the other.

The fastpass situation at Epcot definitely makes it a sleep-in day for us. No sense killing ourselves to make rope drop with the setup that is there now.
