So, to keep things on the "Cheap" . . .
Where you cut costs?
Hotel
Travel
Food
Souveniers
We know Park Tickets usually remain pretty constant . . . but . . . where else can you cut costs on your trip?
Lets brainstorm some ideas . . .![]()
If we want to go multiple times in a year we cut costs by -
Buying AP's - we went 4 times in one year and only spent $259 per person on tickets (Costco deal before the prices went up)
Stay at a less expensive hotel that offers free parking and is within walking distance.
We eat breakfast in our room with stuff we've brought from home or purchased nearby. We bring into the parks sandwiches, chips, celery, carrots and apple slices for lunch. This keeps our bodies happy and regular.

We eat one main meal in the park a day - budgeting about $60 for 5 people. DH and I share a lot of main dishes and add a salad. This = $15 per person over 12 and about $15 for the 2 littles. (we typically travel with only 5 of the 6 of us - our oldest doesn't like Disney)
Set aside a specific amount for souvenirs that we know we can afford and we will sometimes go to the WalMart on Euclid (2 exits North on I 5) to buy some less expensive t-shirts, mugs, lanyards and other stuff.
Except for the Hotel we sometimes operate on a cash basis to eliminate the problem of overspending and to stay w/in our budget.
