You can only pick ONE yes just ONE favorite Restaurant. Your place you love for the food, atmosphere, or for whatever reason. The one place you just have to visit each trip no matter what.

Here's the scoop. I am looking for a place to eat the night we are going to MNSSHP. Our day is open so lunch or dinner is fine anywhere. I currently have an ADR for Tony's but don't think I want to eat there before the party. (I have "problems" eating tomato products. Don't want to spend the night in the bathroom!)

Here is the list of places we are currently booked at...
Plaza-L
Ohana-D
PSBB-B
CR-L
Biergarten-D
Sci-Fi-L
Narcoossee's-D
CP-B
CRT-L
HDDR-D
LeCelliere-L
CR-D
Donald's-B
YnY-L
WCC-D
Jiko-D
50's-L
MM-D
Tony's-D
CM-B
GG-D

But please keep in mind it can't be a signature rest as we will be in our costumes for the party. Unless we do a lunch and then go back to the resort and change. I am fine w/ doing a TS lunch and then have CS for dinner @ the party. My DH and DD have an app. for the Pirate makeover @ 6 that night. Thanks all I can't wait to read your MUST's for your trip...popcorn::

Cinderella's Royal Table! :goodvibes:wizard:
But it was a tough call, I love Chef Mickey's too! And Coral Reef + Sci-fi Dine In.

Garden Grill! Our family loved the atmosphere - circling around and seeing different scenes while eating, we loved the food, and the character interaction was GREAT! We saw Mickey, Pluto and Chip and Dale at least 4 times during the meal. It is still one of our best memories! :goodvibes

I'm sorry I hadn't had my COFFEE yet when I wrote the original post. If I wasn't clear the listed ADR's are the one's we are ALREADY eating at. I was looking for something different.
Thank you for your responses. I love seeing if people's MUSTS are the same as ours.

We love to eat at CRT. As far as some place different for you. you have them all booked lol. We usually do CM before parties at MK. Maybe you could do the dinner there. Or 1900 park fare. We ate there it was very entertaining with the evil stepsisters. Good Luck :)

When I went to MNSSHP last year, we ate at the Whispering Canyon around 4 and then got changed into our costumes in the bathrooms. It was alot of fun because we could see other people putting their costumes on as well. We then took the ferry to Magic Kingdom around 7. It was cool! :goodvibes Maybe you could try Boma's at the Animal Kingdom Lodge? I don't see that on your list.

Our must is already on your list. CRT. My DDs find it so exciting to eat in the castle - you could probably feed them cardboard, and they wouldn't care.

that really doesn't help with wanting something to add to your list. How about 1900 PF? It would be a convenient hop to MK after you eat. And the Tremaines would get a hoot out of you being in costume. LTT would be a convenient option too, I've never eaten here - but it gets good reviews.

When we went to MNSSHP last year, we ate at Kona before. Kona is soo good! One of my favorites. Another good one is The Wave. Love the food there as welll. But I would go with Kona before the party if you are going to be in costume. I felt very comfortable going there dressed up.

I've been trying for months ot get CM for dinner. We always do breakfast there and I wanted to try dinner but I'm having no luck getting it. This is my first choice so I'm going to keep trying.
I have booked 1900 3x's now and canceled it. I keep reading things about the food and I just don't know. I really wanted to try it because we are celebrating DD's b-day.

I was thinking about WCC but we are going there already w/ my family. I did just snag an ADR for Boma on that night. DH LOVES Boma but we canceled the ADR we had for it this trip. I will keep it for now that is until I can get something else I really want. But maybe we'll keep it. I just don't know what to do!

Wow you've already got some great ones on your list...I haven't eaten at Kona (YET!) but keep hearing Rave reviews. From my own personal experience, I'd go with Chef Mickey's. It's always a must-visit for us!

I'm glad you added Boma! Your list is excellent...we had a similar list and our wildcard that we ended up trying was Restaurant Marrakesh. It was really good and not too many people realize that, so it was actually an easy ressie. The CM were very friendly and it was fun trying new things. Nothing too spicy, but everything well spiced.

You might also try Tutto Italia...it's excellent (there's a current thread on this, posted yesterday or today) and it's a 1 TS bargain!

Keep Tony's. It will be very convenient for MNSSHP. I have enjoyed the NY strip steak and Shrimp Scampi at Tony's; both entrees are not tomato-based. There are a few other choices as well. Take a look at the menu posted on Deb Will's website:

did u try CMs for lunch? i know the opened up a lunch for fd. we have an adr booked for 230 the night we are going to mnsshp

Since it's going to be a late night with the MNSSHP, you might want to do something easier than running park to park right before the party.
(Keep in mind that the counter-service in MK during the party is a very limited menu of mostly bugers and chicken nuggets. It surprised me when I went last year.)
I would go to the Polynesian to Captain Cook's for counter-service before the party. It is right on the monorail like to MK. And the restaurant is right downstairs in the Building where the monorail runs, so really easy to stop in and grab something.
The menu has Adults: pulled pork sandwiches and aloha chips, double cheeseburger, Turkey Club, grilled cheese, chicken ceasar salad, stir fried noodles, flatbreads, and sushi.
Kids meals: grilled cheese, burger, chicken nuggets, pb&j, turkey and cheese sandwich.
AND THEY HAVE DOLE WHIPS!!

Plus, you can wear your costumes there with no problem. There are also bathrooms right next to the restaurant that are spacious if you want to change or touch up.

You can sit inside, you can sit outside, or you can walk a few feet outside towards the pool and sit on the beach and look towards the MK in anticipation! (you can also take the boat from right there next to the beach over to the MK across the water as well.)
Good food options, lovely surroundings, and EASY location to get to the party, and NO ressie needed!

CRT for lunch is a must do for us!

Thanks everyone for all your help. I did book and ADR @ Boma. It's one of DH favorite places to eat and we took it off the ADR list this year. I thought I could surprise him w/ it. But I do keep checking online to see if I can snag any other place instead. I think the problem is that I can't decide myself where to eat!
