Thank you.

Just found this one : Walt Disney world resort ( parks, hotels, restaurants etc.) is approx. the size of San Francisco . :):thumbsup2

The 13 Lanterns on the Liberty tree represent the 13 colonies

Also in Liberty Square, there is a home next to the one with the # 26 on it. If you look in the upper windows you will see two lanterns. The two lanterns represent the two lanterns hung in Boston's Christ church steeple in 1776 to warn Paul Revere that the British were coming by sea.

In Epcot's China Pavillion there is a store called Yong Feng Shangdian Store. In the back of the building you will find a weathered copper bowl with handles with a small amount of water in it. If you dip your fingers in the water and rub your fingers around the rim of the bowl, you will make the bowl sing.

At DHS's Star Tours, at night if you look up you will hear the Ewoks and see little fires in their huts

At AK's show It's tough to be a Bug, when they ask some guests to exit the building, look at the ceiling and you will see bugs flying away.

Wow this thread is so big idk If I'll be repeating someone else. But one Of my favorite secrets is that in the old Star Tours ride (I'm not sure if it's still there) they made a call over the intercom by the loading station for the starspeeders for someone named Egroeg Sacul. Egroeg Sacul is George Lucas spelled backwards.

Not sure if this is news to everybody else, but we got a big surprise on our visit to HM last year. If you are in the area of the HM at 1:13 (13:13 military time) they pick a child to be the junior maid. My daughter was picked and got to wear a costume, and welcome guests into the mansion. We were given a tour of the new interactive line and the murder puzzle was explained to us. We were also ushered to the front of the line and into the mansion.

Oh my goodness! This is so cool! How neat!!

We stayed at the Beach Club last time so we were at Epcot quite a bit. Apparently, they train new princesses at the International Gate entrance. Three mornings there were princesses there to greet my daughters with NO LINE!

Also, if anyone has a copy of "the list," I'd love to join the party...

I'd like a copy as well, if it's not a problem.

What is your best WDW theme park secret? For example, I have read about/ seen the part of the Winnie the Pooh ride, where Mr. Toad hands off the deed to the ride to Pooh, the marker in EPCOT that represents the center of WDW, the 'raining' umbrella in MGM, the key under the mat in the Muppet ride, etc.

Any others? I am going to WDW in two weeks and love to show my companions how knowledgable I am by pointing these out (I know - pretty pathetic, but I am truly an obsessive planner);) ;)

Ahahaha.

I didn't realize there was a maximum thread length. Too bad as there are some long-standing classics here on the board.

If you like secrets, I suggest picking up "The Imagineering Field Guide to the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World". I got mine for $9.99 at Waldenbooks and it is the same size as a park map folded, so- easy for travel.
They also had one for Epcot and Animal Kingdom. There was none for Studios, either because they don't make or they were out.

I was disappointed to learn that the meteors projected on the walls of Space Mountain were NOT chocolate chip cookies after all. (sometimes the rumors are more fun than the truth)

I did learn that the Fire Station in Town Square is called Engine House 71 because of WDW opening in 1971.

Amazon has the Hollywood studios one for $7.99 I think

Sorry to bump an old thread but I posted on this thread in 2010 (whew, time flies by) and was sent the "Secrets" word document.

I'm headed to Disneyworld in a couple weeks and was wondering if there has been an updated PDF or Word document since then that someone would be kind enough to e-mail me?

My e-mail is mackey.mac@gmail.com

Thanks guys!

I have planned to travel to Orlando next week with my family. COuld you send me the file in pdf or word.

Thankssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

This is obviously an old thread but please let me know if there's anyone I can contact for a copy.

Thanks!
