I was just wondering what your favorite tips are when it comes to Disneyland. It can be anything you do to prepare for your trip (Packing, arrangements, don't forget to dos'), or when at the park, what are some good tips that first timers, or anyone in general should know, or secrets to look out for. Eg: Disney dollars, birthday buttons etc.
A few things I can think of are:
- Children under the age of 9 can wear costumes
- Birthday guests can get a free birthday call from Goofy on their birthday, or you can buy Disney Enchanted calls at https://secure.uvoxnetworks.com/disney/
- Rides maybe closed for maintenance and to watch the Disneyland website or call relations
- Priority seating reservations start 60 days prior to the day you want to eat
- Program numbers of hotels, shuttles, reservations, etc. in phone
- Get a free planning DVD from Disneyland.com
- You cant bring food into the parks, but can keep it in lockers and eat outside the park at nearby tables.
- Pets staying in the kennel are required to be fed and walked by you during the day.
- Make sure you passport isn't about to expire and that you have travel/medical insurance
- If you dont want to overspend on Disney merchandise in the parks, go to Walmart as they have a good selection of clothing, or dollar stores for other nicknacks
TIA
