We have one day for both EPCOT and Studios. We used our fast passes for Studios in the afternoon. We are staying at Beach Club Villas and want to just go straight to Soaring standby and hope for the best. Any suggestions about what time to be at the IG or what to expect as to length of Standby greatly appreciated.

We were there this week at 10 am - got a late start that day and found that the standby was 20 min. By the time we "walked with purpose" over there the standby was 40 minutes and kept growing. We waited. It goes by pretty fast because they have games in line. So go right away when park opens. Your best bet to see the shortest lines and even then it's a hit or miss for length. But again, even a 40 minute wait moves pretty well and is interactive

I was there last week. We entered through International Gateway entrance. We were there by 8:20. Around 8:40 they let us in. We went straight for Soarin and were held near Figment till 9 am. We were able to beat the crowd from the main gate and were one of the first to ride. Be warned it was worse than a black Friday crowd though

We were at front gate at 8:25 on the morning new Soarin debuted (so it was extra special crazy), and we were doing seat belt checks for takeoff at 9:20. It is amazing how much faster the line goes before the FP return queue fills up. So I wouldn't sweat it on a regular day with 20,000 people rushing to Norway at rope drop.

No need to stand with the insane mass of humanity that is Epcot rope drop. We've gotten to Epcot around 9:30-9:45am a few times over the past few weeks. The wait was less than 30 minutes. If there is any way you can hop back to Epcot before park closing, do it. We did it once and literally walked right on.

I am really happy they opened up the new Frozen ride. We will rope drop Soarin' and my wife can get back into line and do Soarin' twice without insane waits. DD and I will go to Test Track after Soarin' and do Test Track. We were going to do single rider line, but if the lines aren't that bad, we might do standby together. There is no way I would go through the FEA Marathon.

We had the same thing happen last week. We found it was only a 20 minute wait when it was posted 40 at 10:00... Many people run to frozen first thing. We decided to go to Baymax and Joy and Sadness one morning. Def worth it and found soarin was not as busy. I think if you wait the hour, many rope droppers will move on to test track and waits will be lower...

Waits for Soarin didn't seem bad at all this week. Waited about 30 minutes at 3 in the afternoon. Test Track posted wait times were generally double or more Soarin' during both of our visits. The third theater seems to have helped a lot. The queue also now has an interactive trivia game (played via your phone browser) that really helps to pass the time.

You might want to take a taxi to the front entrance, instead of using IG. IG guests are further away from Soarin', so they might reach it after the people at the front gates.
