Your Best and Worst CS places

Best-
WPE- AMAZING food! :lovestruc
Cosmic rays- love the chicken meal. Never has a burger there, which I don't hear great things about
Capt Cooks at the Poly- yummy noodle bowls and flatbreads
Flame Tree BBQ- very good every time we eat there
Pecos Bills- deluxe burger is delicious and love the toppings bar

Worst-
Lotus Blossom Cafe- awful Chinese food
ABC Commissary- greasy and just bleugh:sick:
Pizza Planet- pizza is fine but the side salads have gotten smaller over the years

Best--
Peco's Bills--huge toppings bar (and we've always had fresh toppings) and a huge seating area so you can sit down and relax without feeling like you are being crowded.
Flame Tree BBQ---yummy food and outdoor seating
La Cantina--yummy food and outdoor seating with a view

Worst--
Cosmic Rays--and, sadly I can't remember why I didn't like it but I didn't

We don't care for Cosmic Rays because it never seems to be calm in there, absolute chaos, lol! Or the Japanese place in Epcot.... Blah. Casey's Corner, however is a favorite! As is Yorkshire County Fish Shop, and DH loves Pizzafari :).

Favorite is Columbia Harbour House. Great food and you can usually get a nice table upstairs. Love the tuna sandwich and clam chowder.

Worst is Pecos Bills in MK. Burgers are awful and the place is always packed. We avoid this place at all costs!

Favorites:

MK - Pinocchios Village Haus - love the menu items and if you can snag a table near the window the kids will enjoy watching the boats from Small World take off.

EP - Sunshine Seasons - lots of seating, lots of meal choices

HS - not this parks strong point

AK - Restaurantosaurus - because this is tucked in back near the Dinosaur ride it makes this place generally quiet. There is a nice amount of seating inside as well as some seating outside.

Skip 'EM:

MK - Tomorrowland Noodle Station - open seasonally, not really what we expected with Asian Style meals.

EP - Lotus Blossum Cafe - now closed.

HS - ABC Commissary - menu is always changing so you never know what to expect.

AK - never encountered a bad meals at their CS

My vote for best goes to Cosmic Ray's. Super tasty options there. Worst, without hesitation goes to...El Pirata Y el Perico Restaurante, :crazy2: I'm not surprised it's usually closed. Worst thing I've ever eaten at WDW.

I have to agree, along with the ABC Commissary. Horrible food. El Pirata food just is so heavy, it sits in your stomach like lead.
ABC Commissary was just awful! I had this weird Cuban sandwich, which was so greasy and flattened, I thought someone might have dropped it before serving it. My daughter had fish and chips and it was basically frozen fish sticks and fries. Really bad.

I enjoyed Sunshine Seasons, Earl of Sandwich and Cosmic Rays (which can also be a heavy meal). The food courts and both Port Orleans and Caribbean Beach were great too!

best
CHH- loved the fish and chips
Peco Bills- love the topping bar
Flame Tree BBQ- good portion size, and good ribs
Earl of Sandwich- loved the holiday sandwich

worse
pizza planet- pizza is alright but always chaotic

i cant think of any more bad CS, most are good.

Worst ABC Commisary :sick:went once
Best Sunshine Seasons, Tangerine cafe , Caseys,

My favorites are Harbour House and Pecos. My absolute worst ever was Cosmic Rays. I hear good things about it so I may try it again someday but it was awful for all of us.

So, I have to ask....what is ABC Comm like? I always hear how terrible it is. Why is it so much worse than other places?

We also enjoyed Pecos Bills. Like yourself, I was not impressed with Cosmic Rays. I was looking forward to it because everyone said it was so good. I was not impressed with the chicken and ribs. I found both to be tough and hard to get off the bone. Maybe I am spoiled since I spent 7 years working at Swiss Chalet whose specialty is chicken and ribs. :confused3

We ate at the ABC Commissary. I didn't hate it but there was nothing special about it. Most of the QS restaurants lived up to my expectations of edible fast food. Not great but not horrible.

The one item I really liked was a salad I had at Restaurantosaurus (sp?) in Dinoland at AK. The restaurant itself was really crowded but I loved the salad. I can't remember the name of it but it was a taco type salad with lettuce, beans nacho chips etc., although I picked the black olives and jalapenos off. It was a nice switch from the normal QS fare. Like Pecos Bills, I liked the topping bar there too. It would have been better if it wasn't so crowded. We ate there twice, the second time I chose it just so I could get the salad.

Now i have to ask....what in the world do we eat for QS at DHS??? :confused3 Is there something at the Boardwalk we can take the boat to?
