Your Best and Worst CS places

Best: Columbia House at MK. Just tried this for the first time last week and it's great. Be sure to eat up stairs. It was a busy day and up stairs was so quiet and peaceful. It gave us a good moment of solitude. Food was great! Going back for that salmon next time.


Also good is just about any bakery.

Next I plan to try Tangierine in Morrocco. I keep hearing good things.



Worst....I've never really had anything bad. However, I was not a fan of lotus blossom cafe either. I doubt I'll go back.

Faves: Flametree BBQ, Columbia Harbor House, Englands fish n chips,

Worst: El Pirata Y el Perico and ABC Commissary, the food at China wasnt the best either in Epcot.

Some fav are Wolfgang Puck Express, Columbia Habour House, La Cantina, Tangierine Cafe

We won't be going to ABC Commisary, Pizza Planet.

Are you sure you were at Wolfgang Puck Express??? Or could it have been Wolfgang Puck Cafe??? They are both in DTD but WGP Express doesn't have carrot cake. The Cafe does (and I agree, the carrot cake is AMAZING!). The WGP Cafe is a table service, WGP Express is a counter service.

Yes, unfortunately it was WPE...we ordered CS...it was very busy that night...we were offered carrot cake and key lime pie as dessert.

WOW! I am so sorry you had bad food. We normally eat there 2-3 times during our trip and we have always LOVED it. I guess everyplace has a bad day/night every once in a while. I just hate that you had to experience it. I wish they would offer me carrot cake....I LOVE THAT CARROT CAKE

Let me first state that while there have been some so-so experiences, I would try any of the QS restaurants again especially if I heard that there were menu changes or other changes that might appeal to me. So here is my list -

Favorites

Columbia Harbour House at MK - A/C, roomy, yummy menu selection, awesome theme.

Captain Cook's at Poly - A/C with outdoor seating as well, adult grilled cheese, tomato soup & dole whip - YUM!

Earl of Sandwich at DTD - excellent sandwiches, great prices!

Sunshine Seasons - HUGE menu selection, A/C, lots of seating

Least favorites

Roaring Fork at Wilderness Lodge - Small seating area, limited menu, questionable food (like food sitting out on hot stoves to stay warm and CMs taking back food people have grabbed and then putting it back in the pan)

Liberty Inn at Epcot - I would actually like to try their new gourmet burgers but I have only eaten here prior to that time and the menu is just too limited and blah.

Cosmic Ray's at MK - Too many 'stations', food is just ok, and a very annoying band that is too loud.

Sommerfest at Epcot - I actually like the food but the menu is so limited and the line is soooo long.

I've eaten at a ton of other spots and I enjoy many of them. For instance, I LIKE the pizza that Disney serves - especially the veggie pizza! So the waterparks, Pizzafari, Toy Story pizza planet - all fine with me. And I like Flame tree BBQ but due to the high price and no A/C, I wouldn't call it my favorite.

My favorites are Harbour House and Pecos. My absolute worst ever was Cosmic Rays. I hear good things about it so I may try it again someday but it was awful for all of us.

So, I have to ask....what is ABC Comm like? I always hear how terrible it is. Why is it so much worse than other places?

Tangerine Cafe, always flavorful
Earl of Sandwich, great sandwiches from the Real Earl (he actually is)
Pecos Bill's, still has a toppings bar

Least Favorites
Backlot Express, used to be favorite but toppings bar gone
La Cantina San Angel, downhill quickly after La Hacienda opened

favorites: Harbor House--we love the tuna salad sandwich--the bread is so good. Sunshine Seasons--the veggie sandwich is a favorite--the creme' brulee is a must. Tangerine Cafe--the platters are all so good and very shareable.

least favorites: really don't have any. We even have found something to love at ABC comm.--the Asian Salad--a nice light lunch--but we love veggies.

Favorites are Columbia Harbour House, Cooks of Dublin which is amazing, pop shrimp lo mein, wpe, and barbecue place at AK.

Worst are wl fast food, rosies and abc at HS, and turkey legs anywhere (although my daughter loves them.)

DTD - Best is WPE and worst is that new chicken place

HS - no best, worst is the BBQ place by ToT

AKL - Best is Flame Tree worst is Y&Y

MK - Best is CHH and wost is Cosmic Rays

faves:
-Kringla Bakery Og in Norway (Ep WS) - you get a ton of food for a CS credit and it's all good. Their outdoor seating even has a decent view of illuminations. Total hidden gem.

-Starring Rolls in DHS - great sandwiches on fresh bread and those cupcakes

-Sunshine Seasons in Ep- lots of choices

-WPE - I havent been impressed with the pasta there, but pizzas esp. are good and so is creme brulee

Worst:
-Pepper Market dinner at CSR - gross (and bad service)

-Pecos Bill - I don't get why people love this place. Wendy's makes better burgers (I hate the burger station at Cosmic Rays too - inedible and on stale buns)
