MUHAHAHAHA some time today I'll study.

The girls and I are going this afternoon to get our nails done. The girls get just paint no fancy filing or anything like that. THey usually pick out like hot pink or purple etc..

Sometimes I get a french manicure, sometimes i go with a deep/dark color...others a bright....

What should i do today? My nails have been naked since Wednesday when I chipped 2 of them and removed the rest of the color...it was deep/dark red/maroon color.

I'd go with a deeper color as we are moving into Autumn. French or light-colored polish says "Spring/Summer" to me.

I just got a pedicure the other day, and chose a pretty, but slightly more muted, pink.

I just spent $17 on a french manicure, it was pretty, but she told me from the get go that it wouldn't last long, I only had it for about a week before it got so bad I had to take it off. I'd go for a deep color.

a week and it was bad? Shesh...When I get a french manicure, they look almost perfect the next week when I go back and they redo my nails...I wonder what kind of base/top coat she used on yours.

They were really pretty, but after a week, they got so chipped and damaged that I had to take the polish off, whatever she used on my nails also turned the tips yellowy/orange and they're very very britle.

I usually have my toes done in a bright color and my fingers in a sheer beige or pink color - looks almost like a french manicure but lasts much longer and doesn't yellow as much - ask your manicurist if she has an anti-yellowing topcoat she could use so it will be minimized, the sun does terrible things to light-colored polish.

Mine are french, DD9 has a purple color and DDalmost8 has pink....
