How strange! I hadn't really thought about it before trying to come up with the list below, but most of the foods that made the biggest impressions on me were not from signature restaurants. And we eat at signature restaurants nearly every night each trip! The total experience at such restaurants is well worth the cost, but I have to admit that individual items elsewhere can actually be more memorable.

Anyway, here's my list, in no particular order:

Potato and Leek Soup from Rose & Crown. The creamiest, best-tasting soup I've ever had.
School Bread from Kringla Bakery og Cafe. Not too sweet, just delicious.
Ham and Tillamook Cheddar on Whole-Grain Mustard Rye from Roaring Fork. Knocked my socks off the first time I tried it. A perfect sandwich for me...ham, cheddar, mustard and rye!
Rotisserie Beef Flatbread from Sunshine Seasons. Another delight; the beef was just perfect, there wasn't too much cheese, and the flatbread itself was tasty and substantial without being heavy.
Anything from Boulangerie Patisserie. Need I say more?
Mickey Waffles from Chef Mickey's. Ditto.
Chicken Pot Pie from 50s Prime Time. It's not DW's recipe, but it's darned good.
Cuban Sandwich from ABC Commissary. This one totally shocked me...I was expecting something very 'blah,' but really enjoyed it.
Catfish from Garden Grill. Reminds me of the fish Dad and I used to catch then cook right away on our camping trips; I'm not a fan of fish that's not right out of the stream because it develops what I consider an unappetizing smell and taste, but this stuff was perfect!
Adult Breakfast Platter from Roaring Fork. Hey, this is quintessential vacation food to me; I normally eat unappetizing 'adult' cereal every single morning when I'm at home. On vacation, I like to indulge in good-tasting breakfasts. Being able to walk downstairs and easily get bacon and eggs is the height of luxury in my world.

1. Corn dog bites and fries from Casey's
2. Ice Cream from Beaches and Cream (while walking around the Boardwalk)
3. Strawberry Cheesecake from Kringla in Norway
