Does anyone know what the youngest age for snorkeling is on the DCL excursions? Our grandson will be 4 when we cruise and we all love to snorkel. Thanks in advance!

The youngest age for snorkeling is 5 years old. DCL will not make any exceptions. That is why we booked Capt. Marvins on our own.

We have had her practicing in the pool with her own equipment - so we will see how she does - fingers crossed.

Thanks! I'm glad I asked. Our grandson has also been practicing in the pool this summer.

You can also go out on your own at ANY of the ports and snorkel. Just plan ahead and find a good spot, and go there... They have to realize, SOME kids can snorkel at an early age, if they live near water and their parents are in to that, you know? I mean, take hockey, those players start when they're like 3 years old...Give a kid a life jacket and they're safe if they already know how.
