DD 3.5 has been saving for BBB for our Nov. trip. since Aug. she has saved up $225 in Birthday money, Christmas money, and other holidays that family sends her a $5 in a card (we live in a diff country so they spoil her a bit). We told her how much what she wanted to do costs (she wants the costume and everything) and that if she didn't come up with the money we would just have to lower the package and bring a costume from home. She met her goal and now says she is saving to buy me and DH souvenirs . If you know he is going to want something "big" maybe have the money available. Otherwise just bring a smaller amount, like a pp said if it turns out he wants something bigger than expected you could always loan the difference.
