Nancy: she hugged him. "It's been so long! I had no idea Mike was this good at football..." Phil: he stood next to June. "Hi mr. Rogers. "

June: She waved. "Hello, Mr. Rogers, agents."

Mike: "Oh hey Nan."

Mike: He beamed. "Thanks Clint, Natasha." He would have greeted them more warmly, but then he remembered they were his girlfriend's parents. That was awkward. Right. He turned to his dad, and found himself pulled into a hug. "Hi Dad, nice to see you too."

Steve: "You did great out there, kiddo." He glanced at the Bartons. "You too." He shook Jay's hand, his other arm wrapped around his son's shoulders. "Good to see you." He smiled at Evelyn. "You can call me Steve, Evelyn. And I'm glad I could make it too. Mike played well." With his other arm open again, he gestured Nancy to come over. "Come here Nance, haven't seen you in forever, you look pretty!"

Evelyn: She smiled. "Okay Steve, and he did play very well." Then she and Jay moved away a little and chatted with their parents.

OOC: Do we have any future plans of where this rp is going?

Steve: "Well, I think our Mike is one heck of a guy."

Mike: He blushed again.

June: She waved. "Hello, Mr. Rogers, agents."

Steve: "Hello June, Phil."

Evelyn: She smiled. "Okay Steve, and he did play very well." Then she and Jay moved away a little and chatted with their parents.

OOC: Do we have any future plans of where this rp is going?

OOC: Past the musical? Nope. I mean, I have ideas for my individual characters, but they're really mere fancies, not at all full fledged.

OOC: Sorry Noelle, I put it in a randomizer and Hope's Christine, but Jay is cast as Raoul so it'll be cute. But Nancy can be anyone you want, besides Meg cause Ev's already claimed that.

Okay, so I got a really neat idea concerning Luke & the play at school, but I'll need to give some background info about Phantom first so it makes sense. (this is not the entirety, it leaves some important bits out but its the gist to explain the idea)

Okay, so Christine's father, Monsieur What's-his-name Daae was a famous violinist that died when Christine was a young child, but before he died he told her that there was a so-called "Angel of Music" that would protect Christine, and Christine has always believed in him. Phantom overhears Christine telling her bff Meg about it (cause Phantom's got these secret passageways and doors and listening holes all over the theater, basically if its happening he knows about it) and so that's why Christine trusts Phantom when they first meet because he tells her he's the Angel of Music sent by her father to teach her and watch over her and stuff. But Christine loves Raoul, and the Phantom hates Raoul because Phantom loves Christine. Phantom warns Christine not to fall in love with Raoul and Christine is beginning to figure out he's not the Angel of Music but instead the legendary Phantom of the Opera, and so she's afraid he'll hurt Raoul so she does back off. But Raoul confronts her about it and she tells him and he convinces her that everything's gonna be okay. Then they get engaged, and Phantom gets pretty upset about this, so he goes and threatens Raoul in public. Then a few days later they get this opera that the Phantom wrote for them and tells them to put it on. They think about not doing it but then Raoul's like "No, we'll put on the show like he wants, make Christine the lead and we'll get the police and we'll set up a trap, and we'll catch the Phantom this way." So they all agree and set up this play. Well the Phantom has a plot of his own. During the performance, Phantom knocks out the lead male backstage and takes his place during this musical number with Christine. As this musical number is ending, Phantom ends up kidnapping Christine right off the stage and then there's the rest of it.

My plot idea hinges on Luke attending the school and becoming the Phantom in the show after this little mission here. My idea is that in the last show Luke uses magic to momentarily disable Hope's leg, so Raven, the stage manager, is forced to go on and do "The Point of No Return" (the part with the Phantom performing in his own play). And then, at the part where the Phantom kidnaps Christine, Luke really does kidnap Raven, and Luke leaves a double/fake self and makes Hope's leg work again so they can continue on the show with Hope and Luke's double. And so, they don't figure out something's wrong until Luke's double vanishes after curtain call, and by that time, Luke's already far away and has already possessed Raven with the staff.

OOC: Hmm. I guess we'll just see what happens. I'm having adult Bartons spend the night at the manor because I imagined Buffalo is four hours away from NYC. You can make Steve too if you want. I'd imagine the manor having guest bedrooms.

Nova: Nova was walking back to the manor with Jeff, talking to him about the problems of being a cheerleader. She laughed. "What's worse, you have to smile like you actually mean to be happy."

Jeff: "It sounds like being a cheerleader isn't exactly your forte."

Nova: "And you have to wear the worst outfits." She frowned. "I wish I had never taken that dare."

Jeff: "Maybe the dare was a blessing in disguise." he said. "Maybe you were secretly meant to be a cheerleader all this time."

Nova: "Really?" she asked.

Nova: She continued talking, mostly complaining about how she didn't like cheerleading. Usual stuff.

Nova: Nova was walking back to the manor with Jeff, talking to him about the problems of being a cheerleader. She laughed. "What's worse, you have to smile like you actually mean to be happy."

Jeff: "It sounds like being a cheerleader isn't exactly your forte."

OOC: Okey doke. And the manor is twenty minutes by car, so the walk may be rather far lol.

Natasha: "Because of the four hour drive, Mr. Rogers, my husband, and I will be spending the night at the manor. We have two seats open in our car if anyone doesn't want to take a ride in a friend's car or bus.

Jay: Oh no! He hadn't cleaned his room the whole time he had lived in the manor. Mom would kill him...

Evelyn: Although short, this would be nice to spend some time with her parents and show them around.

Senior Player: One of the seniors walked over, clearing his throat. "Mike, Coach called a team meeting."

Mike: He slid out from under his dad's arm. "All right." He turned to the adults. "I gotta go, I'll just ride back on the bus." He walked off.

Steve: "Okay, see you soon Mike."

Hope: "Raven drove us, so me and her are just going to drive back in her car."

Raven: "Yeah." She wasn't really starstruck, by the Avengers, but they made her nervous, particularly Clint and Natasha.

Evelyn: She debated on waiting for Mike, but then figured they were on different busses anyways. Plus she never wanted Mike to find her clingy too. Her loved her parents, but preferred her friends sometimes. "May I have a ride too Raven?"
