There was an unspoken and I'll be taking the fall for it, but only if you really noticed you would be able to pick up on it.

That didn’t work, as apparently I’m the first girl he’s taken interested in that’s refused him, so he’s even more intrigued. Plus he literally can’t have me, his father forbidden him to go chasing after me, since I’m Fury’s girl. I’m just his unwilling teenage rebellion, but he can’t have me and he won’t have me if I’ve got anything to say about it.”
