Young Avengers Manor RP

Nova: Nova sat by herself as all the other girls chatted with one another.

Nancy: She felt somewhat nervous about tryouts for cheerleading

OOC: FYI cheerleading is later. The first day is different and everyone's actually at their morning elective.

Jay: We walked into the theatre room. It was a cozy room, and a little messy like you'd expect from a creative person. There were various Broadway posters among the room, a corner of the room with couches/stairs with a coffee table in the middle, the teacher's desk, white board with overhead projector, small elevated stage (They had an auditorium, dressing room, and tech workshop/classroom for building set nearby) and a bunch of tables. He approched a table to find Andi. "Hey! Can Raven and I sit here?"

Andi: "Sure! Nice to see you two again. Welcome to theatre."

Jay: "Thanks!"
There were three others at the table. The class probably had around thirty five kids from all four grades. A teacher went to the front of the class. She was a woman in her mid-forties. He reminded him a little of that theatre teacher from High School Musical, but toned down. (OOC: So basically mine lol.)

Ms. Irre: "Welcome class! Great to see new and returning Thesibans. I'm Ms. Irre. So, here's the roledown. We rehearse and audition in class. I want to start soon, so we're going to play some theatre games to get your flow for a few times, but soon I'm going to help you all get ready for auditions. I'll cast all of you in some, but others will have an alternate assignment if not cast. We always start the year with a musical with everyone. I'm going to announce the show soon!"

Evelyn: Meanwhile at Ladies Soccer Evelyn met in the coach's room. There was around 8 other girls.

Coach Liz: "Hi ladies! Welcome. I also teach juniors. So, how soccer works is everyone makes the team. Your practice effort and skill will determine how much or if you play in games, which start next semester. This semester will be scrimmage and practice. We'll have some more girls join next semester, but you all have the definite edge for practicing more and being more dedicated. Sound good?"

Evelyn: She nodded at the tall, blonde lady.

Raven: She faked a smile at Andi and sat down, listening to the teacher. Being in a show would actually be kind of fun......but she didn't get to have fun, come on Rave, wake up and smell the coffee, she thought.

Mike: Mike walked into the art room. Various projects from past years were displayed on shelves and bookcases, on the wall or hanging on the ceiling, and there were several storage units for art supplies. Easels and pottery making equipment was shuffled towards the back of the room. It was bright and colorful, with tables just kind of thrown around the room. There were about twenty other students in the room, mostly older students, and he was clearly the last person to enter the room. He took a seat next to what looked like another athlete. "Can I sit here?"

Rick: "Sure. Hi, I'm Rick. What's your name?" he asked, holding out his hand.

Mike: "I'm Mike, nice to meet you."

Rick: "What's your other elective?"

Mike: "Football, then cross country."

Rick: "Nice. I've got baseball after this."

Mrs. Harper: The teacher entered, she was a woman in her early thirties. "Hello everyone! Just for our new member, I'm Mrs. Harper. Each day, you'll come in and I'll give you a sort of prompt, and you'll have the class to create something. This is so you can do a wide variety of things for college portfolios, or to have something to submit for the various city and state art competitions. But today I'm going to let you do whatever you want, you'll just have to let me know what your topic was. So, if you don't have any questions, you can start."

Mike: He watched the class get up and start heading to get supplies. He had Rick show him where everything was and he got what he needed for his idea. He got to work, the final image of his drawing forming in his mind.

Raven: She faked a smile at Andi and sat down, listening to the teacher. Being in a show would actually be kind of fun......but she didn't get to have fun, come on Rave, wake up and smell the coffee, she thought.

OOC: So I think we should switch to afternoon electives soon. If you guys want to write a little summary or story of the morning elective you're welcome to! :)

OOC: I just have Hope's and then I'm good, unless you want Mr. Stamnos to do the Math and Science Club

Jay: The class did some improv. It was fun. The bell rang he went to pep-boys.

Evelyn: The bell rang and she arrived at cheerleading.

Hope: She went to her debate class.

Raven: She said goodbye to Jay and went to basketball.

Mike: He went to football where he was greeted eagerly by Cameron and the rest of the team and the coaches.

All my characters: They went to their next electives.

Jay: He was greeted by eleven other boys, all a little hyper and crazy. This would be fun.

Evelyn: She found Nancy and June for cheer tryouts. They entered a room that looked like a slightly larger dance studio. A lady in her mid-forties with a clipboard gretted them at the door. "Hi! Welcome to cheer tryouts. You can sit along the wall, the long one and not the one with the whole wall mirror." Evelyn went and sat down with the others.

Nova: Nova completely ignored Evelyn and June when she saw them, this was her dare to do. It didn't require anyone else. She did admit to herself silently that it was nice that they decided to try out and it wouldn't be as bad performing flips in front of people who knew her, but at the same time she would much rather perform in front of strangers who wouldn't care if she messed up.

Evelyn: "Hey Nova! Where are you going?"

Evelyn: "Hey Nova! Where are you going?"

Nova: "Cheerleading tryouts," she replied flatly.

OOC: Are we allowed to play other students in the school? She won't be a major character, just someone to say something.

Evelyn: She shook her head. At least she tried. It took herself a week to loosen up with the group. Evelyn thought Nova would do the same. It'd take longer, but she'd do it.
