Nancy was injected with an earlier version of Erskine' super-soldier serum before Mike and Steve came, and it was kept secret. She stayed mostly with Peggy at the Strategic Scientific Reserve, not expecting Steve and Mike to make it into the military. (Was Mike tiny also?) She fell in love with Charles Barnes (Son of Bucky) but he died on the train too when he got shot. He gave her a ring for her birthday a few weeks earlier, and she always wears it.
