Young At Heart: The #BirthdayFestivus13 Adventure!!! 5 UPDATES, 1/8!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know something just occurred to me. With you and Jess together at MNSSHP, Disney may have to set up an additional queue line for people wanting pictures with you two!!

I really hope you get to chat with Mickey. From what I can gather, while not guaranteed, I think the chances are pretty good.

I remember towards the end of #STUCKINDISNEY all the mentions of this TR potentially taking a year or more to complete. You are seriously killing it girl. Of course no complaints here. All the better to be ready for #Lia&Jess'sHalloweenTrip2013.

An $8 Million contract in 1952 (well I guess 1953)??? JUST WOW!!! I love those signs too.

OMG, for a second I thought one of the trivia questions asked "Who is Frumpy?" (top right). :lmao:

I want to be a CM JUST to have fun (and get a name tag). I don't get why anyone would be all serious in a CM job. Like, is there anything better anywhere? Also, #BREAKINGBAD4LIFE

I saw the Bibbidi Boppity Parade and it is fabulous that they do that. It's one thing to do the makeover, but to be in a parade and feel special like that... Priceless.

I was just completely riveted reading along with the suspenseful story of 1900 Park and anxiously waiting for the BIG REVEAL. Aww so wonderful and perfect. Dreams Do Come True! And Gina IS cool!! Love her reaction. :goodvibes

I know Cinderella is a Princess and all, but I love Anastasia and Drizella more. Laughter is SO important. So... Much... Fun!

So excited for your trip!! It’s gonna be so good!! I can’t wait to hear all about it!! Thanks!! I love the Tink costume, I got it by chance when a cosplay er I follow on various sites said she had ‘messed it up” and was willing to sell for much cheaper than planned and it happened to be perfect measurements for me! YAY!

Okay, now onto the updates!

I feel the same about Cars, we walked through there and had no interest in it, like, Ill watch the movie before going to Carsland, and that’s it! I LOVE THE ART PICTURES! And yes, I LOVED the little mermaid and Aladdin tv shows, they were the BEST!

Yay for Basin and WPE, I definitely checked out Basin after reading your reviews, bought some face stuff, and it’s amazing! I’ll have to pick up some shampoo bars next time I’m in DTD.

Ahahahahaha, I’ve gotten lost at the Swan/Dolphin and Boardwalk SO MANY TIMES!! I’m glad you returned to civilization okay! I am in LOVE with Beach Club! Thank you for the photo tour!

Yayayayyayaya for Gina getting there! I’m super excited to read all about her part of the trip with you, I’ just know it’s gonna be good! Yay! Stickers!

Glad you guys had a blast at 1900, I really do love it there, mainly for dinner! We got the FGM last time when the sisters weren’t there and it was precious, she was perfect, the other time I did dinner Lady T just wasn’t there, oh well! It was still great, I really loved the food too!

Yay!! I’m excited to read about your DTD adventures! I’ve only been to the “bars” at Disney once and it was briefly after the HDDR, I always seem to have someone under twenty one with me!

All of these updates make me so happy!!! You are making me laugh with each one! The surprise you pulled off for Gina meeting Cindy right away is adorable! I keep going back and forth to make an ADR for there but the only one I could swap it for is Via Napoli..and I just don't think I can do that!!
I'm so excited for you getting to go back so soon and can't wait for the TR and twitter updates while you're there! :goodvibes

Your upcoming trip sounds like it's going to be amazing! So glad you're getting to go back! (PS-Did you see that I have a ticker now too? I'm getting to go back for Christmas!!! :dance3: Only 5 days but still, better than nothing! :thumbsup2)

Wow I don't want to know where you got lost at the Yacht Club, haha! It looks a little creepy! :rotfl2:

OMG I love Gina! I actually started tearing up when I read about her reaction to her Park Fare surprise! :goodvibes

YAYAYAYAYAYAYYAY I'M SO HAPPY YOU HAVE A TRIP COMING UP! I know how sad you have been about not getting to go back! AND NOW YOU ARE. YAY.

Yeah I just had no idea. I was like HOW did I end up here?!

Awwww. Yeah she was SO emotional. It was definitely a successful surprise.

:rotfl: Yeah we should probably call ahead and let them know they are going to have to prepare for our arrival.

Really? I didn't think the chances were so high but you've made me feel better about that!

Me too. Did you know they used to sell those name tags to guests? I'm sad I missed that.

Aww I know, it was such a great night! And I agree, the stepsisters are just so much fun to meet. Cinderella has to stay all prim and perfect and they are just crazy.

So excited for your trip!! It’s gonna be so good!! I can’t wait to hear all about it!! Thanks!! I can't wait to hear about yours too!!! YAY two MNSSHPs!! That's some pixie dust with how the costume worked out. You definitely can't tell it's messed up in any way! I think it looks great!

I'm glad someone else remembers the Mermaid and Aladdin Disney Channel shows!

I'm so happy I could bring Basin into your life. (: It is my mission to save the world through Basin. :lmao:

IT WAS SO GOOD. The only thing was, I was soooo tired. Week 2 at Disney...whew. But we still had a BLAST.

I've never had breakfast there but the dinner is so fun with the step sisters. I just adore them!

The bars/restaurants are so fun. It's nice to know you're safe. I mean yes, bad things can happen in Disney too but overall it's obviously quite a difference from going out in NYC.

All of these updates make me so happy!!! You are making me laugh with each one! The surprise you pulled off for Gina meeting Cindy right away is adorable! I keep going back and forth to make an ADR for there but the only one I could swap it for is Via Napoli..and I just don't think I can do that!!

Aww thank you! That's excellent. (:

I would probably choose Via Napoli unless someone in your party is really obsessed with Cinderella... like I only booked 1900 cause I knew Gina would freak out.

Thank you!!

I am so excited to see you and Jess's Halloween costumes! I'm so intrigued!

That Downtown Disney CM sounds amazing. That's another way people should approach each other in the club when they're not pin trading. "Hey, let's hula!"

The meatloaf at WPE is my dad's favorite meal anywhere. He's obsessed.

The part about getting sick of chocolate really speaks to me because we got the Kitchen Sink early on during our last trip and I couldn't eat ice cream for the remainder of the trip. That was heartbreaking, because I'm obsessed with Mickey bars and the Plaza. But it was just too much! It's hard to imagine there being too much chocolate or ice cream but sometimes you hit the wall.

Gina sounds absolutely precious! And she looks great in the picture considering she was crying!

Hi Lia!

You are powering on with those updates aren't you?! Not that I'm complaining of course!!

Great reading as always...and you can never post too many pics of The Beach Club as far as I'm concerned! :)

I have to confess that I shed a few tears reading about Gina's surprise - SO fab! :)
I ate at 1900 Park Fare with my family in 2008 when my niece was 5 and I'll never forget how in awe she was of Cinderella and the Prince! She was completely entranced watching them dancing and said wistfully "they really do love each other don't they" !! So precious!! I love magical moments like that!

Best wishes,
S.xx

Omg! Your Stefon reference made me giggle so much! I llloooovvvve that character. Perfection, Lia.

I stopped in Art of Disney first and saw this AMAZING painting of Mickey, Goofy, and Donald as Dapper Dans.

10334893906_f89fa81b3e_z.jpg

I saw the 4 Dapper Dans riding that bike at Disneyland and it put the biggest smile on my face. They passed right by us going around the hub in front of the castle and it was just the most random, but perfect Disney moment. I only wish I could have gotten a picture of it.

Does anyone remember that episode of the Little Mermaid series where there was all this drama with the dolphins? Did I make that up? Hmm. LOL. Seriously though I miss the Little Mermaid and Aladdin series so much.

The Little Mermaid series is on Disney Jr. right now! I have at least 10 episodes saved on the DVR and my 3 year old loves it.

So.... I'm a little bummed out about your lack of Cars enthusiasm. I am a fan, but 1) I'm a guy who likes bright colors. 2) Mater and I have the same smile. It is true what you have heard - Cars 2 is terrible. I was bored and antsy in the theater and haven't seen it since. I've watched the first one countless times so that should say something.

Also, I'm going to need Gina's number. I tend to lose steam halfway through any trip and could definitely use her enthusiasm! ;)

Lastly, I'm glad you found a hula guy to erase the memory of nasty vinyl cast member. Timon must have been jealous.

EDIT - I did not mean to imply the cast member was an actual vinylmation, although it would've made him less snippy. Just sayin'.

It's gonna be awesome (: I'M SO EXCITED!

I totally agree! All club decorum should be learned from my trip report!

YIKES. I really want to try the Kitchen Sink one day but I am never with enough people.

haha Yeah she does, I thought the same thing! It really doesn't look like it but trust me, she was crying a lot!

I'm tryin' ;)

Aww that's so sweet. "They really love each other don't they"... okay now I'm gonna cry.

AHH I will have to catch it sometime! Thanks for telling me!

Sorry dude! I'll rewatch it one of these days.

I didn't even tell Timon... I knew he would fill with rage that I hula danced with another man. I hope he doesn't read this report!!!

 I gotcha. Thanks for clearing that up!

OHMYGOODNESS, how is it I did not realize you had started up Birthday Festivus until NOW??!??? :scared1: LOL - I'm not all caught up yet but had to subscribe without any further loss of time. :goodvibes Loving all the photos!! I remember thinking this when I saw your pics on twitter/instagram, but that purple skirt you wore on the first day is SO SO PRETTY. If you don't mind my asking, where did you get it? I'm always on the look out for a good swishy skirt. :thumbsup2

So fun to hear about the new Flower & Garden food and that purple lemonade looked so cool! SO much Disney deliciousness with Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace and Le Cellier, and I love hearing about all the character interactions. With my four brothers we almost never stop for characters. :confused3 Someday I will have to go on a girls trip and do characters meets like crazy to make up for it. ;)

And now you've got a MNSSHP trip right about to happen too - so excited for you, and can't wait to hear all about it! :hyper:pixiedust:

There was really no room to be sad though because we were moving to my DVC home resort, POP CENTURY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Lia,

It's been a little over a week since we returned from 15 wonderful days of MNSSHP, F&W and total WDW immersion. Now that we are almost caught up on mundane work and regular world things, I was able to get back on the DIS and try to get caught back up on #BirthdayFestivus13. WE ARE SO HAPPY TO HEAR THAT YOU ARE GOING BACK IN JUST A FEW DAYS!!! I had a feeling that F&W, MNSSHP & Hanson would be a hallowed trinity that you would not be able to resist!!:rotfl2:

There have already been so many great lines in this TR, but I had to single out the one about POP being your DVC home resort, THIS IS SO US!! In our last two trips we have racked up a total 30 nights at this resort and no matter what the naysayers may think, we still love it!!

Can't wait to follow you on this next trip via Twitter & Instagram!

Rob & Jenn

Suddenly we hear something that immediately transports us to 1995.

THE MACARENA!

I know all the words to this song so I immediately sung along. It goes, "Al jlkdjfiod la a;lsdkl akjd l;d;lsd oajl la Macarena. A lskjdoi lskdfjlakdsi lalksjd oislk lksj olsd l cosa buena. Al jdjdjkjsl sifdljf lskdf sllaskjd ol Macrena. HEY MACARENA!!!! AYEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

O.M.G. I laughed so hard at this! Those are EXACTLY the same words that I always sing, and I thought I had them wrong. :confused3

:lmao:

:rotfl2:

Bwaahahahahahahahahahah!!! The people in my office were concerned because I couldn't stop laughing. I had to make something up about choking on my strawberry lemonade.
:rolleyes1

Hey! Well I'm glad you're here, better late than never I always say. :D

Thank you! I got it at Urban Outfitters 8 years ago. The brand is Lux. So worth the $80 price tag as I have worn it all these years!

Aww! I hope you have some great character interaction in the near future. You deserve it!!

Thank you, I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!! :hmghost:

LOL "a hallowed trinity." You are right about that my friend. The power is too strong!!

Hahahaha I started saying it was my DVC home resort during the trip and people were confused. But you totally get it. :thumbsup2

Thanks so much!! I will try and post as much as possible for those of you home with Disney fever!

Day 7, Part 7 In Which The Drinking Marathon Commences

Year after year, athletic people hit up Disney World for marathons, half marathons, etc.

God knows why.

I mean, I get the Disney part. But running confuses me.

Maybe I would run if Eugene was waiting for me at the end of the race. ~With arms wide open~ ready to be my husband. (Sorry Punzie).

However, the kind of marathon I do understand is a drinking marathon.

Gina and I had been talking about doing this for so long and now it was TIME!!! BABY!!!!

LET'S BAR HOP IN DISNEY!

Our first stop of the evening was the Raglan Road, which is a blast!

10415226823_cd93cd4369_z.jpg

I love this place.

It was pretty packed and the only bar seats available were alllll the way on the end near the restrooms. I wanted to sit in the main area but it was fine because we still had a view of the performers who are so amazing! Gina has always been really into Irish dancing so she was very impressed!

10161116674_159d46bd14_z.jpg

Unfortunately... our bartender was a woman and NOT one of the gorgeous Irish guys. It was a setback, but we had a nice view of plenty of them so it all evened out.

Gina and I very much enjoy examining drink menus and picking out cool and unique cocktails to drink. I (barely) recall a night in Indiana when I mixed something called "Intergalactic" with a few "Gummy Bears", so that's the kind of stuff we like to try. To this day I wonder what was in those Gummy Bears. I assume some kind of alcohol; beyond that, I'm not really sure.

10161348123_c5933e3f3d_z.jpg

Gina went decided on the Aran Island Iced Tea which is sweet tea vodka, rangpur gin, Myers platinum rum, sour and a splash of Sprite. That sounds AWFUL to me but she liked it a lot!

10415085246_ac78b5ce76_z.jpg

Despite my penchant for trying interesting mixed drinks with fun names, I really did not think hard liquor at Disney would be a good thing for me. I don't have much of a filter to begin with. I am not a person who has what they call "inhibitions". You know, I just don't care. So add alcohol to my personality, and you've got quite a show.

So mixing the insane joy, sensory overload, and literal MAGIC of Disney with say, vodka or whiskey just doesn't scream "Great idea" to me.

So I stuck with good ol' beer and ordered the Samuel Adams on tap which is my favorite!

10415084636_7f4c9b9467_z.jpg

I am so attractive I just wish I could marry myself. *Sigh* Legalize it, people.

10211912893_ab66c6ea62_z.jpg

I was holding up the awesome coaster they give you which has Dublinese on the back:

10415082725_af943d3fd9_z.jpg

The receipt made us laugh because it says HERE'S THE DAMAGE!!!

10211824166_6cd1aaa8f7_z.jpg

Totally didn't notice that last time I was there.

I gotta say, I was sad I was full from the buffet at 1900, because I love Raglan's Road's food so much and I wanted to order. The burger and fries I had last year really hit the spot. I'll be happy when I can eat there again someday.

Here is a pic of the Cinderella pin I gave to Gina:

10211715904_9da34850b5_z.jpg

Yay, go you Irish dancer you!!!

10415083056_1ffeb07d5f_z.jpg

I just LOVE that stage in the middle of the room. Besides the food and hot Irish men, that is definitely my favorite thing about this place.

I don't know if anyone else has seen the movie P.S. I Love You (If not, watch it. SO good.) but when I'm in Raglan Road I half expect Jeffrey Dean Morgan to walk in and start playing the guitar. I REALLY wish that would happen. In general I just want to go to Ireland and spend 90% of the time drinking pints with Irish musicians. I mean, I do that anyway in New York so I might as well do it over there. Can anyone get me a discount on Irish airfare?? Help a sista out.

So anyway, enjoying the awesome dancers and drinks, we headed out to our next stop - Paradiso 37.

10415057884_01f4af8b39_z.jpg

I have wanted to go here literally since before it opened. We've had ADRs for it in the past but it just never worked out. Usually I choose something a bit more Disneyish, but I have always been very interested in the menu and it just sounded really fun. So this was 3+ years in the making!

It was smaller inside than I expected, and the outdoor seating on the water looked really nice. We wanted to sit at the bar though! This was after all a bar hopping event.

Paradiso 37 gets its name from the fact that they possess 37 different kinds of tequila. They also have the coldest beer in North America? Or something.

I am not the biggest fan of tequila but if I lived in Florida this is what I would do. I would try a different kind of tequila every time I visited Downtown Disney until I got to try all 37. Whether I was over at Design A Tee, or getting my sandwich fix at Earl's, or taking a loved one to the Bibbidi Boppity Boutique, I'd stop in for a shot until I reached my goal.

I think this is a fantastic idea for College Program participants and I'm sure it will catch on very soon.

The coldest beer ever is unappealing to me. I mean, cold beer is a great thing, but not in the extreme sense. I don't need THE COLDEST beer ever just like I don't need the SWEETEST maple syrup on my pancakes or the HAIRIEST dog in the world.

Small doses are good sometimes, Paradiso.

Just my opinion.

This is what Gina got:

10415080145_e25c53b7b3_z.jpg

We don't remember what it was. I want to say it was...vodka related? I don't know. The details at this point are not going to be as frequent.

WHAT I WANTED WAS THE ICE CREAM CONE FLIGHT.

Each cone is a different flavor: vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and cookies & cream. AWWWW YEAH.

Of course, I had just shoved tons of dessert down my trap at 1900, but there is ALWAYS room for four ice cream cones in my stomach. Trust me, there is a reserve set up soley for things like this.

10415055864_f94a4153db_z.jpg

It did taste as good as it looks.

Gina ordered truffle fries because she just always requires fries whether she has just eaten or not. It's something she needs and I fully understand and support her!

10415078695_b9231b952e_z.jpg

I ate a few of them and they were DELICIOUS! Gina couldn't try my cones because of being lactose intolerant, so I had to eat them all by myself. WHAT A TRAGEDY THAT WAS.

@babybritney: We at eat 1900 a couple hours ago and now were eating ice cream cones and truffle fries while drinking. #oops

I also got some kind of white wine (maybe Pinot...?)

One of the things that made us DIE laughing here was that Gina said something and for some reason I mentioned Bret Michaels like he was related to what she was talking about.

We both became confused and then I realized that I was wrong and Bret Michaels had nothing to do with anything we were talking about. A common problem.

I said, "I'm an (expletive). I started talking about Bret Michaels and there was no reason."

Gina replied, "There's never a reason."

We laughed for ten minutes.

Then the nice bartender offered to take a picture of us so yay him!

10416033055_b853f22f65_z.jpg

Thanks dude!!

Here is the beautiful outdoor seating area! The picture does not do it justice AT ALL.

10415054394_4bbce74a9c_z.jpg

After we finished our random combo of food and drinks, we went to the bathroom and I know something hilarious happened because we were laughing a LOT but I can't remember what it was.

I know there was another girl in there and I think there was some kind of ridiculous interaction with her and I and then Gina came out of the stall after overhearing us and was like "WHAT WAS THAT" but I literally have no idea.

We then soldiered on through our drinking tour of Downtown Disney.

I had originally planned for one of our stops to be T-Rex since they have that awesome octopus bar, but for some reason we never went. We just decided to wander around the West Side? OH, actually I remember saying that we should go to the House of Blues but once we got there some creepy guy started hitting on me in a really weird way... I can't remember what he said/did but we were like WHAT. Then we found out there was a special event going on so you had to have a pass to get in and so we moved on!

Then I saw this truck which amused me greatly, so I demanded my picture be taken with it!

Looking good as usual TBH.

There were a few CMs just standing near the truck and I looked at all their lanyards, finding nothing that caught my eye.

Then I got SO EXCITED BECAUSE I FOUND THE COOLEST PIN EVER ON THE LAST GUY'S LANYARD AHHHHH.

As you know, I had been searching for any Halloween themed/spooky pins. I never even imagined I would find one as awesome as this though!

10416214663_4b02c50c62_z.jpg

I had never drunkenly pin traded before but it was quite an experience. I tried my hardest to trade in a civilized manner but the awesomeness of the pin had me way too excited. AHH I WAS SO EXCITED. The CMs were SO nice too. This night was just getting better and better.

Then we did this:

We moved on trying to find a new place on the West Side to drink.

We were gonna go to Bongo's, but it was looking kinda dead. Splitsville, however, was HOPPIN.

Day 7, Part 8 In Which I Eat A Questionable Olive

So we sat at the bar where Gina met her future husband! I will not reveal his name to protect the innocent, but Gina brings him up all the time. God this whole night was so funny.

I didn't even know Splitsville had a bar, nevermind an outdoor one that was super popular. We almost couldn't find seats but then 2 opened up just as we walked over. Pixie dust!

After drink #2, I start to contemplate life.

"Who... am I?"

OH HELLO.

10212024225_e2f19d9267_z.jpg

As I've said, Gina was obsessed with the bartender and I actually thought he looked like a teenager, so it was weird that he was serving me drinks. However Gina just adored him and so he was the poor unfortunate soul who we talked to and about the whole time we were there.

Gina got a daquiri...

and I got more beer!

10415051374_92fa374798_z.jpg

Always a wise choice to have a third drink the night before having a jam packed 3-park day! LOL.

I am not going to share anywhere near the amount of pictures we took. I mean, I obviously look AMAZING in all of them as does Gina, but that doesn't mean they are necessarily for the faint of heart.

10416155675_eec0b912bc_z.jpg

Let's just say we were having a blast.

Some random guy came up and started talking to us. I don't remember what he said except that he asked for a picture with us. We were like... okay?

I mean, we are very understanding that our legions of fans love us and want photos with us, so we oblige. He said it was for his vacation album and it was awkward. Then he walked away and the picture never happened LOL.

In my alcohol filled state, I thought the inside of Splitsville was closed and the only open area was this little bar outside. I really had to pee, so I said to the bartender, "Do you guys have a bathroom I could use?" and he laughed because of course they do. He was like, "Yeah, inside the bowling alley." Gina and I were laughing so hard. She had to go too so we got up together and were like "SAVE OUR SEATS" to Gina's boyfriend and he agreed to.

From what I remember (not a lot), the inside of Splitsville is pretty cool. I am not into bowling though. I've just never found it fun. Maybe we should have tried drunk bowling. There are a LOT of things you can do after having a few drinks that are suddenly way more entertaining than you ever thought they could be.

I tried to say the Stacey dialogue while inside, but that part is quite new so I hadn't yet memorized it! I'll nail that next time, though.

We went back to the bar and Gina's man was like "Someone wanted to sit there but I told them to get lost" or something along those lines which we found hilarious.

Olives are like my favorite food ever, so naturally at some point I asked Gina's lover for an olive even though I was not having a martini or anything that would call for an olive. I just enjoy them and really wanted one.

He did me one better and filled an entire cup of them!!

10415215993_640946352e_z.jpg

I ate one and it was kind of warm and not the most appetizing olive I've ever had if I'm being honest. The bartender then said something about them being two weeks old? Like those same olives had been loaded in and out of there every day for two weeks. I think we decided he was probably messing with us because wouldn't the olives get used up by people ordering martinis or other crazy olive-loving girls? I mean, I'm not dumb, I know restaurants re-use things they probably shouldn't in order to save money, but aren't martinis a pretty popular drink? I'd think they'd go through the olives.

Gina and I discussed many possibilities. Maybe people don't order martinis often because it's a bowling alley, where someone is more likely to get something less fancy. We also thought that even if they were old olives, was it really bad to eat them? I don't think old olives would make you sick. I mean, sure, they aren't appetizing, but they wouldn't go bad in the case of what the bartender described. Hmm. THIS COULD GO SO MANY DIFFERENT WAYS!

My final decision was not to eat any more of them. Once I'm drunk, eating anything is not very wise, so eating something that is possibly old seemed like something I'd regret.

I wanted to show off my new Princess bracelet (Another gift Gina brought):

10415050474_19b159eba5_z.jpg

It's sparkly and pretty. I enjoy wearing it to work and other places where glittery princess bands are not usually worn.

We went inside to pee again.

10415050154_fdd2eea363_z.jpg

When I have been drinking, I will take a picture of basically anything and find it really funny.

10415214833_e327f6fb6a_z.jpg

Stuff like that.

I guess they were cleaning or something because this table had tons of crap on it and of course I found it very amusing.

10416407675_78b9d609fe_z.jpg

They said last call at the bar was going to be at 1 AM, but they were serving way past then. We found it scandalous at the time. THIS IS DISNEY FOLLOW THE RULES!! hahaha.

It was such a fun night. Like just absurdly fun.

10416382846_dc49d5a066_o.jpg

YAY!

I don't even remember what time we left or much else that happened besides walking to the bus stop and falling asleep on the bus!

IT JUST GETS BETTER!

The lovely bus that I fell asleep on.

When we got back to Pop, I almost dropped our room key off the 4th floor! That would NOT have been fun to find at 2am in the dark. Whew.

We had been laughing hysterically the whole way but then when we got to the room, Jess was of course sleeping, so we tiptoed around like little mice and she didn't even wake up! So that was successful. Shocking news... it was not our first time sneaking in somewhere while drunk!

We went straight to bed after that. It had been an AMAZING first night of Gina's trip, and I was sooooo excited to go to the parks with her the next day! HALE YES.

Okay, this is what I MEANT to post the other night when I was obsessively reading your updates as you were posting them:

So I totally understand where you're coming from with the Cars thing. I really enjoyed the movie but I think I've only seen the whole thing twice and I'm just not that interested in it (or the sequel). :confused3

I CAN'T BELIEVE you were talking about the Little Mermaid series!!!!!! I literally just watched it the other morning on Disney Jr, and then I watched again this morning! I definitely recall some sort of dolphin related drama.

Omg, your interpretation of that Minnie art on the wall of Tren-D... like no really, what on earth is going on there?! That really had me scratching my head.

Yacht Club sounds like old guys in blue blazers and sailor hats drinking old scotch and smoking cigars talking about how they survived the Titanic and stuff.

LOL. :rotfl:
I love Beach Club AND Yacht Club!!!! And Boardwalk!!!!! My sister said she thought the inside of Boardwalk was boring and I wanted to give her a good slap for her ignorance.

If you want to re-ignite your Disney trip, call Gina. She only lives a couple of hours away and will show up with healthy snacks, crayons, and 90's Disney accessories. You will love it!

Oh my god, I want that to be my official job description: "Disney Vacation Refresher". (I charge by the hour btw- I will also accept payment in the form of park tickets and cupcakes.)

I love that picture I took of you running down the stairs in front of me. I feel like you're about to eagerly take me on an adventure. "COME ON, LET'S GO!" (Accurate.)

I almost cried AGAIN reading the 1900 Park Fare part. When you told me you were lying I was like... wait, what? You had like this guilty look on your face and I was like... what is about to happen to me. And I'm so glad everyone reading your TRs is so entertained by my emotions!!! :thumbsup2
Also- JASMINE RICE.

Truth: those are actually the legit words to the Macarena. I called Los del Rio and confirmed it.

And here are my real-time comments.

Oh lord, I tried to look up the recipe for the Gummy Bear drink and I have no idea what it was, but I do know the Ace's Pub "website" headline says "We Cure Sobriety!" LOL.

I despise tequila to my very core, but I promise if my future plans work out, I will make this one of my goals. Also- I have searched my memory in vain and even looked up the Paradiso 37 drink menu and I still have no idea what I drank there.
I now crave truffle fries on the regular.

Bret Michaels. *SMH*
I remember that when the bartender took that picture of us, he didn't think it was a good picture. I think it's one of the best pictures we've ever taken together? So idk. He was very mistaken.

I think the reason we didn't go to T Rex was because it was super crowded and we thought it was going to take forever to get in? I'm glad we didn't go though because otherwise I wouldn't have met my future husband from Las Vegas.
That guy that wanted our picture at Splitsville, he totally reminded me of Bret Michaels. Idk why. :confused3
I'm glad you had a lot of pictures from Splitsville because I didn't really, and I love seeing the ones you took that I've never seen before! And you are correct, neon is my power source. ::yes::

I forgot about you almost dropping the room key off the balcony... that would've been a large problem. :lmao:

10 days until I see you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
