i started watching since 1987. I only watch young and the restless and Bold and the beautiful.

I started watching in the 1990's when as I recall..Nikki was married to Jack. Nicholas was a little boy. Vicki was dating (Scott Reeves) Ryan and heading towards getting married despite their young age. Nikki was addicted to pills and alcohol as she was recovering from a fall off a horse...AS I AM RECALLING THIS... !!! Anyone else thinks this makes any sense....do I have my facts right !!!


ALSO, I believe the show (Y&R) was only 30 minutes back then!!!

I think you're right. I'm not sure about the length of the show, though. I have been watching it since the late 70's when I was a little girl. I remember when Nikki was a stripper and Victor came in to save her! What a childhood memory! I also remember Brad as the Abbott's pool boy and the births of Nicolas and Victoria- hmm they're at least my age on the show, Nikki's addiction and "Cricket" and Danny Romalotti ROCK ON! Oh, remember Michael Baldwin raped Cricket and then they became friends later? Never understood that one! I could go on and on...

See, the Nikki, stripper s/l I do not remember at all. I remember Brad doing the landscaping at the Neumans. (or was it pool boy)! I also remember so vividly the rape of Cricket by Michael and what was the creepiest and actually made SOAP NEWS was the likes of Michael coming back and getting his law license re-newed and working with or for Cricket??? That was ODD as heck...here he is her RAPIST and then comes back to GC and ends up working with her and then they had a relationship...(am I right)... weird, just weird BUT it is a SOAP after-all. AND I went from HATING the character of Michael to now really a big fan of him. AND Christian LeBlanc (Michael) getting a Daytime Emmy for his more recent years performance. Yes, and Danny. Loved all that with Cricket/Danny/Phyllis way back when Daniel was born and Danny and Phyllis ATTEMPTING to have a marriage or relationship and Phyllis was so evil.

SO FUNNY!!! I would love to see re-runs of those years!!!

Well, they do always show the classic episodes on Christmas Day.

I did like Danny, but he SUCKED as an actor. Cricket does too, I'm sorry to say. And I didn't get why Paul and Ashley didn't work out. He's hot!

Cricket and Michael were ENGAGED for a while, talk about weird! Then they had Paul kinda rape her too. That was stupid I didn't like that at all. My dad is now a retired teacher and he watched Y&R in the summers, so I grew up with it. He still calls me and says "are you watching, can you blieve this? "?! My dad is so funny, he thinks Sharon is the hottest one. I so didn't need to know that.

And GRACE, Sharon's friend (or Nick's) is on B&B now!!! Hmmm...she is Brook's sister....anyone see that...?

Am I the only one who isn't sure that Nick is telling the truth about the paternity results? We never saw the letter and he said for Jack not to have the test. Could he be stealing the enemies most wanted item, just as Jack stole NVP from the epileptic Victor?

I have also thought Nick is lying....we will see........SOMEtime!

Nina came on during the late 80's I think as a runaway who was pregnant. The lady who now plays Sally Spectra pretended to be someone to help unwed mothers and was going to help Nina. What she really did was steal the baby right after birth.

Nina went away for a while then came back a few years ago but I can't remember what the story was around her and who was a part of her life then.

Nina was a regular for a long time. She was Cricket's friend. Didn't she marry the formaer husband of Victoria, the one she couldn't have sex with? She seems to have solved that problem.

Also, as someone that does not get a chance to watch it at all due to work and try to catch some evenings on the Soap Net...is Paul's secretary, Lynn, still on the show??? She was always a good friend of Christine's and I think Nina as well. She also seemed to spend more time than she should with Paul's mom, Mary, when Mary was on the show.

I really do not remember anything on your list except Malcolm coming on the show as Neil's bro and having the Photography studio. Yes, Paul and Isabella's(Eva Longoria) son is Ricky...he should be showing up anyday now.

I don't remember this. However, I do remember Nikki having a sister that had more of a story line. I wonder what happened to her.

It's funny how all of these characters get these high level jobs with no training.

About Sheila...I think she will come back looking like Lauren so she can steal her baby when it is born....
Remember how she disappeared this last time and when Lauren and Paul went back for her she was gone?! Then they showed her giving a picture of someone to a Dr and said she want to "look like this"...I bet that picture was of Lauren, b/c she knew she was pregnant.

I do remember some woman wearing a scarf but I can't remember much about her. I'll have to find out cause now it's going to drive me crazy!
