A vigil is held at the hospital for the survivors of the Clear Springs tragedy.

The Newman family is once again faced with tragedy.

Gloria continues to play a game with Jeffery.

Who is responsible for the Clear Springs tragedy?

Cane worries that the collapse is his fault.

Nick, Sharon, Jack and Nikki celebrate Halloween with Noah. This is a scary combination.

After the collapse, Paul thinks it is time to tell Heather that he is her father.

John Abbott's ghost appears to Jack and reminds him to go the distance and don't give up.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SNEAK PEEK AT NEXT WEEK

Neil's feelings for Karen grow stronger.

Fingers point at Victor for the Clear Springs explosion.

Heather finds incriminating evidence that point at Paul. :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

I saw on the preview clips Vic telling Jack he wished he had left him "choking on the dust"...WTH is that all about? Jack just saved Nick; of course, Vic should have helped him. I can't wait for the dog that goes everywhere (but Clear Springs) Zapato, is implicated in Ji Minh's death. It would also be funny, if after Jack is cleared of the JM death, if Jill teams up with Jeff to get Glo for tainting the face cream. I really liked seeing Phyllis back in pretty clothes today.

Sharon

Here is tomorrow's show. Not much going on, until Jack finally puts some things together towards the end!

The Aftermath
Back in prison, Phyllis would rather be alone than talk to Jana or the Chaplain about her day of freedom - it's not all it's cracked up to be. However, she's soon whining about the flaws in the work release program. Phyllis and Jana disagree on whether Jack's a hero or not, then listen as a new bulletin reports Jack's a suspect in the death of Ji Minh Kim. Jana won't quit bashing Jack - rambling on about all Jack did to Gloria - if that's not pure evil, what is? Jana won't let up - suspecting Jack of having John change his Dad's will. Phyllis goes to the Chaplian - fishing for info on John Abbott - he was reevaluating his life - he cut Gloria out of his will. The Chaplain doesn't see the relevancy. Phyllis covers - she merely means that John would be proud of his son. .

At Memorial, Vic barks orders to double manpower and find out what happened at Clear Springs - he's hired private investigators. If this is sabotage against the Newman's, he wants to know who the hell has upped the ante. In Vikki's room, a joking JT and Nikki butt heads over the wedding - Nikki thinks a DJ more suited to a prom than her daughter's wedding. Asking Paul and Maggie, they give different opinions simultanously. Paul and Nikki encourage JT to leave - practically forcing him to go home and take a shower. Nikki sits for some 'girl time' with Vikki - taking her hand and gently kissing it.

On his way out, JT chats with Colleen and Adrian (who feels responsible - Vikki should have gone ahead without me - I owe her big time). Go talk to her, JT encourages. After Nikki leaves Adrian to talk to Vikki, he hobbles over to offer words of thanks and encouragement. This child will be perfect - like his Mom. He then bends down to tell the baby how strong his Mom is. JT halts his conversation to accuse David Chow of being part of the reason Vikki's in there. David again claims he was merely checking on construction - any more public accusations and he'll sue for slander!

In Noah's room, Sharon thanks her hero Jack for saving her life. He's outraged to get a call alerting him that the press now knows he's the prime suspect in Ji's death - someone on the force leaked it. Bumping into Maggie, Jack blasts her for the leak. She isn't responsible, but will find out who is. Back in Noah's room, the kid gets good news on his pending relase - and a visit from his Dad dressed as a Musketeer (including cproviding both candy and eye candy). Jack soon arrives and finds Sharon in a leopard cape and hat. Nick encourages Sharon to go out for a bite with Jack - he's brought Noah's video game.

Paul updates Vic - reminding him that he was trapped too - if Chow's connected I'll find out - you'll be the first to know. Vic's back on the phone - I expect an update in the morning. He then updates Nikki that there's no official news. Nikki doubts David's involved - but would want to know if so - that's OUR little girl in there. Vic vows that whomever is responsible will pay (and suffer). David later tells Nikki that he'll stay away from the hospital - looking out for us - and NVP. Nikki's sorry for what he's going through - but her only concern is Vikki's recovery.

By the time Nikki visits Noah's room, he's received so much candy that he's OK with missing trick or treating. Nick then takes a turn talking to Vikki about childhood memories - show me how tough you are - wake up, he urges. Wheeling Noah around the hospital (in a matching costume), Nick hands the phone to him so he can talk to Phyllis.

Vic makes his way to the chapel - and makes a solemn plea for Vikki's life - and finding those responsible - I need some help - that's why I'm here. As tears flow, when it comes to one's child, one must appeal to a higher power. When Nikki joins him, they reminisce about Vikki as a child (holding vigil with her sick pony). She's as strong and stubborn as her father, they agree. There's always hope, Nikki weeps.

Now showered, JT returns with his guitar - after doing some research online. JT tolerates Paul's humourous teasing - then finds Nick laughing hysterically as he continues to reminisce with Vikki - we'll be laughing together real soon, he pats JT's arm before leaving him to warble a song to Vikki and the baby.

In the lounge, Jack has a heart to heart with Sharon (who thinks him an amazing husband and father) and won't hear of him resigning his Senate seat. Jack's reassessed his priorities - nothing is more important than her and Noah. Sharon supports him 110%. John appears beside her to agree - I know I didn't raise a quitter. He sits with arms folded to listen to Sharon and Jack debate him resigning (with Sharon concluding that he'll make the right choice). Later, Jack's angry - there must be thousands of dogs with yellow hair - even Victor Newman has one (a light seems to go off in Jack's head). He's told by phone that the hairs can't conclusively be linked to Fisher. I've been outed publically as a murder suspect without ANY evidence, he ends his rant.

Next: Lauren looks like she's had another panic attack: Why is this happening - I know I'm safe, she tells Mike ... Maggie asks Paul if he's finally ready to tell Heather that he's her father... Hearing Cane was out for drinks with Heather, Jill asks Cane about his feelings for her.

Just finished watching todays episode (US: 11/1)

I loved laurens pajamas haha, they were to cute. But is anyone else having a hard time with this panic attack stuff? I would find it more believable if anybody else that was involved seemed the least but shaken. Nobody seems to care! They're like "oh yeah, yesterday I was trapped in rubble but its alll good" Lauren seems to be the only one post-effected, and maybe I have short term memory but why didnt she have these panic attacks after she was presumed dead when she was trapped with sheila?

Victor is devastated as blame for the Clear Springs collapse falls on him, while Victoria's condition continues to worsen.
Determined to prove his own innocence in Ji Min's death, Jack tries to throw suspicion on Victor.
Heather overhears shocking information that could put Paul behind bars. Meanwhile, Paul prepares to tell Heather the truth about her paternity.
Enrique Iglesias performs at Indigo.
Neil and Karen take their relationship to the next level.
Painful memories trigger panic attacks for Lauren.

Glad to here that they made Victor the guilty party..he was running around shouting his mouth off with his rage about making the person pay with all they have...well Vic start paying.

I have a feeling that they will down the line find other evidence that it was a missed earthquake or something...but he will be cleared after everyone finds out what his plans were all along.

will enjoy the next couple of weeks. Any news on Victoria?

Poor phyllis how hard it must be to have Nick and Summer so close and not be able to even hug them. Seems to me that letting them have some contact is good for rehibilitation.

I also still think that David is the one who killed Ji Min and the dog hair came from Niki transfered to David. They will have to get rid of him sooner than later.

Who do you think killed him?

I heard that they specify that seismic activity was not a factor, but the way they bring up lines and drop them, I imagine Vic will skate out of any problems. However, they could come up with a link to the sabotage, always possible :confused3 .

I have to think Mr. Chow Wow is guilty, too. I believe his contract is up early next year, so that is definitely possible. I still lean towards the possibility he framed Vic, by placing the dog hair on JM.

I just wish something would happen with Glo and that cream. Jeffy needs to move in for the kill. She is such a conceited moron. Why anyone would go after the DA after you had just covered up your murder of an innocent woman through your stupid sabotage, is only something Glo could do (even in the world of soaps)?

Scoops for week of 11/5

Neil and Karen's relationship intensifies and the two make love

Jack tries to point the finger at someone else, and then Heather finds incriminating evidence against Paul

Colleen and JT agree the past is behind them and they can be friends as they take care of Victoria at the hospital

Neil tells Lily he doesn't think she should be seeing Cane

More Spoilers for WK of 11/5

YOUNG AND RESTLESS: Jack and Victor are watching the news when they see an update saying that the Clear Springs collapse was caused by natural gas drilling a few miles outside of town and that the owner of the drilling operation is Victor Newman. Colleen stops by the hospital with gifts for Victoria. She watches as J.T. puts perfume on Victoria, and Colleen picks up a brush and begins brushing Victoria's hair. J.T. and Colleen agree that the past is behind them and they can be friends. Jack tells Maggie his suspicion that Victor killed Ji Min is because he was counting on Ji Min to ruin Jack. Michael and Lauren meet up with Paul and Maggie at Indigo. Neil tells Lily that he knows she has feelings for Cane and doesn't think that they should see each other, since he just got divorced and is a lot older than her. Karen tells Neil that they can take this as fast or slow as he feels is right. Neil leads her to his office, and they make love. Paul tells Heather that she is his daughter, and he waits for her reaction.

SNEAK PEEK: Heather is bitter when Paul reveals he is her father.

I don't get it. What happened with all the cracks in the cement that JT saw and the shoty cement he saw being poured by the guys and then he got promoted by the head guy so that he'd not tell anyone? :confused3

I thought that is why the building came down. Why would they even show us that if it's going to be Victor's fault?

I'm guessing that it will be a bunch of factors rather then just one.

I guess we'll find out soon enough.

It is a race against time for Nikki and Victor

Phyllis and Nick share a bittersweet reunion

Lily faces a Thanksgiving disaster

Cane is stood up

Kevin brings Jana a Thanksgiving proposal

There could be legal trouble for Michael and Lauren after Paul confesses to Heather.

Daniel and Heather clash.

Daniel sees Heather has a sensitive side.

On November 15, Phyllis's appeal makes it to trial.

Also about Vikki
Victoria develops preeclampsia. The Newmans learn that both the baby and Victoria's life are in danger. Nikki and Victor need to make a decision.

The baby is also younger than they thought it would be. So the dad is most likely JT.

Jeffrey and Gloria are playing games with one another. Gloria seduces him and he steps away for a some time. Gloria locates a box with a note that says that "she" tainted the moisturizer.

I wonder if the newly discovered relationship between Paul and Heather is going to help Mikey with the appeal for Phyllis? Also, I have the feeling Paul, the world's dumbest PI, is going to implicate Mike and Lauren, instead of keeping them out of the mess he created, by spilling his guts, rather than judiciously editing the truth (or just keeping his stupid mouth shut, but we know he is not smart enough to do that).

yep-he admits to everything on Monday.

And this ticks me off but (highlight).....the doctors tell the Newmans that the baby isn't big enough to survive outside the womb. Which goes along with Beattyfamily's spoiler that it is probably JTs, which is going to make me even madder if it doesn't survive!

I feel sooooo sorry for Victor....NOT:sad2: well maybe just a little he gets what is coming to him after all these years.

If they don't let Victorias baby survive than I will not want to watch for a while. Will be way to depressing. I am so tired of so many dying on this show. Besides they need more kids on this show becasue everyone else is getting old. Well at least so many are.

If they don't they will have to change the name from "The Young and the restless" to "The old and the tired ":rotfl:

So how much older is cane to ?( can't remember her name my menopause is flairing up:rolleyes: ) neils :confused3 daughter....geesh what the heck is her name?????they would make a cute couple but stilll think Amber is the one for him.

So who thinks that Daniel and the DA will end up together....as a couple that is....she acts like she is 16 so they would fit and she seems to be over what he did and Daniel thinks that she is hot....even though he says he hates her.....

And what is up with Sharon....BORING!!.....

Who besides me has trouble still with Jill being Kay's daughter :confused3 after so many years of there hate/friendship relationship it just seems so out of place? I hate when Jill calls Kay "Mother" and when they have there close moments of mother and daughter it seems so out of place.

I also think that after awhile Neil and his new sweetheart will get married and home will come Drew, or he will be watching TV and in the background he will see Drew walk bye or something....you know something soap opera-ee.

Also everyone is ready to hang Victor for this accident yet Nikki seems fine with it....What's up with that:confused3 thought for sure she was the one that would be madder than a fruit basket.

So who likes Cat's...just thought that I would throw that in :lmao:

I still think Jena is nutty...I think Phyllis thinks that Jena is nutty also.

Heather, she makes me say YUCK everytime I see her. She is sooooo immature and acts 16....they need a strong woman in that part not a whimpering little snit.

Paul and the Cop seem so mismatched to me also.....

My favorits are still Mike, Phyllis and Nick...not sure why Nick, he just seems to have turned out to be a really nice guy and nothing like his Daddy......

Im also confussed....how much of Clear Springs development get ruined? I know they were wondering about Fenmores....did I miss something?

enquiring mind wants to know?????

Well, "Phillip" was the same age as Cricket, who was married to Danny, but who left her for Phyllis when she faked getting pregnant with Daniel, who is the same age as Lily. So he "should" be old enough to be her father. But in soap years who knows?

Killing Vikki's baby would be awful IMO. I think they will make it touch and go, but the baby will live.
Daniel and the LipGloss Queen, Heather, would be perfect. First, she can put her bio dad, Paul, in jail for the Sheila fiasco, along with Lauren, Mike and Maggie. Then she can date Daniel long enough to figure out some way to get him to compromise his probation (and maybe those other two smarties: Amber and Kev, although I think Glo is going to single-handedly figure out a way to get her younger son in for some serious prison time), thereby earning herself ADA of the Year.
I love the characters Kay and Jill. I wish they were on more and Jill would do her own investigation of JiMinh's death. I know they had a bad past, but I like their Mother/daughter relationship.
I think it was Adrian or Cane that mentioned only the garage was destroyed; the rest of the CS buildings sounded like they were okay.

Sharon

I just read where Amelia Heinle (Victoria) is supposed to have her baby today. I wonder how they will handle that? I know they film several weeks in advance, but will the viewers just see a body in the bed (no face), until she returns?

Sharon

From GotDisney...
If they don't they will have to change the name from "The Young and the restless" to "The old and the tired ":rotfl:

When my mom was alive, she used to joke and call it "The Old and the Breathless".

and the LipGloss Queen, Heather

:lmao: Thank you! You both hit the nail on the head with those descriptions!

ME! I hate this relationship! It just goes against 20 years of the show's history and one of the best "hate" relationships ever in daytime drama! When they get all gushy momma I just wanna heave.

I also think that after awhile Neil and his new sweetheart will get married and home will come Drew, or he will be watching TV and in the background he will see Drew walk bye or something....you know something soap opera-ee.

Oh, yeah I can totally see this happening! I know that Neil absolutely adored Dru, but sometimes ya just wanna smack him. I'm glad that they finally had Karen show her frustration this week with the "Dru worshipping schpeels" from Neil.

Victor and Nikki? I like it when they are together, not apart. I wonder if this is the thing that brings them back together before the divorce is final. And that twit David? He just slinks in and out of the storylines like the snake he is!
