• ….. Lily dreams of Colleen, she's wet and cold and tells Lily she won't die and will soon have a child of her own. Lily soon wakes from her dream, Lily realizes something is terribly wrong with Colleen ..

This is the kind of rubbish that makes me crazy!! In the middle of what shd be a poignant scene btwn Colleen and Lily, I’m forced to shake my head in a Scooby-Doo style retake as I say to myself---“hey! ddn’t Lily have a complete hysterectomy to avoid the further spreading of cancer?” Oh well, maybe she’ll adopt or something. Doesnt Cane also continue to reassure her of the same thing.

• Jack finally tracks down Colleen, he gets her out of the water but she's not breathing. He faces off w/ Patty ….. Victor arrives at the lake, he too faces off w/ Patty.

LOL!! :rotfl2: Patty’s havin’ a rough day, huh?! LOL!! :rotfl: I just envision her crying (Tonya Harding style), pointing to her spider bite, wondering why everybody is so upset with her!! :lmao:

My daughter and I have noticed several times when the show ends one day one way and then it starts off with the same character and there is no rhyme or reason as to how the character got from point a to point b.

Liz

Even my DH -who rarely watches (or admits to watching) asked if tennis was on or something that he missed a show!

I think they must start “rolling tape” before we tune in. There are times, if you watch episodes on both the network & Soapnet, when it’s obvious there are a few seconds missing in the opening scenes. For instance, in the episode where Paul confronts Victor about Patty, the network’s show started with Victor opening his front door. Watching it on Soapnet, we heard Paul yelling Victor’s name and angrily knocking on his door before Victor walks over to open it…which kinda puts a different spin on the scene.

The doctors were able to freeze some of her eggs.

OK Y&R DISer's, what was the reason (on yesterday's show) they kept zooming in on CLOCKS (or the time)....every time they changed a scene it either started or ended by showing a clock/time?? :confused3

I thought they were showing us how long Colleen had been under water so the audience could feel a sense of urgency. When Tracy looked at the clock, though, I got the feeling that time had a different, more significant meaning.

I guess I wasn’t paying attention, must have missed something, because I thought it was too late to harvest any of her eggs! Thanx for clearing that up!

I thought it was the actual "time" that Colleen crossed over with Brad, that she was brain dead. They all "felt" it without knowing what it was, only that something was horribly wrong.

I agree. And maybe I imagined this, but the tall clock Tracy looked over at looked like it had stopped moving...like it froze at the time Colleen died. :confused3

i took the showing of the clocks to show all the scenes were happening at the same time.

so that it shows that colleen was under the water for minutes not hours like passing in real time.

or else we'd all be saying - she's been under for so long she'd have drowned by now.

now upon saying that - she'd be dead anyways because jack stoped doing cpr for too long even if mj did let him start up again it would be too late - in reality - in soap world she'd just jump right up but we all know she dies

I really wished I could bring better spoilers to you guys. This show is really upsetting me! Its getting hard to run a Y&R soap board, I always have to come up with something good to say! This show is really ticking me off!

That is exactly what I thought, too, and I loved the way they did it.

I couldn’t watch the whole show it was too sad. She was too young and the irony with her dad dying in the same body of water is just too eerie.
The show starts with her swimming, then hitting her head and falling. Immediately we go to the clock countdown--- MJ/Patty’s watch 620 (digital), Radio announcement @ coffee shop states 620am, Abbott home--620, Coffee shop--621 (digital), Victor’s clock--622, Lily’s clock-- 622, JT&Paul’s location-622, MJ/Patty’s watch---622 (digital), JT’s phn--623am (digital), Ashley’s bedroom clock--624, Paul’s watch--624, Abbott home—625.

JT&Paul’s coffeemaker shows 626 (digital); then Jack realizes where Colleen is (looks @ the pix of her at the camp); MJ is startled awake; then Abby awakens from a dream and says she cant get Colleen to come home as we see Ashley’s clock-@ 626 (digital); Lily realizes something’s wrong @ 626. Then @ the Abbott home we see a clock that shows 626, Traci feels something is wrong, looks @ the grandfather clock and the pendulum has stopped, it’s 626.

Another thing I noticed, though….when Ashley talks to Abby about MJ/Patty, she seemed to be thinking abt her own situation as a person who may not be “in touch” and needs her loved ones to guide her back. So hopefully we’ll see the end of this storyline sooner than later.

HD no worries it has been great and we also have each other to chat with on what has happened day by day:thumbsup2:flower3:

I have not watched in the last 2 days. It is getting ready to start soon and will have to watch the other 2 before today's. But it is fun getting the low down on what I will be watching.

I feel so sorry for Traci. Colleen is all she really had in her life. Sure she married but Colleen is her life. I always feel for the others that loose family members but Traci is just different. She will play the part and pull on our heart strings for sure.

i feel your frustration, honny dipp, but your spoilers (as well as everyone else's) are greatly appreciated! the show may be totally ridiculous, but you are awesome :thumbsup2

This was posted on my soap board:

Ok I have seen on two twitter accounts and three soap message boards that there is a casting call out for The great Victor Newman. One of these boards usually deletes this rumours asap if they might be unfounded and yet the thread is remaining with discussion. It's reportedly been published in a magazine but I don't know which one. Also Melody Thomas Scott reported she signed a short-term contract waiting to see what happened with EB's negotiations

The reason for the recast, de-aging the character (50-60) and reported contract disputes.

Another option is also apparently killing the character off which I can NOT fathom happening at all.

Frankly I would rather see the character die than recast - no one else could EVER be Victor for me.

Anyone been reading these rumors? What do you think? Anyone have confirmation?

WOW! No Victor would be weird!!!!
But a different Victor would be really odd too....

So we SORAS the kids and Reverse SORAS the adults?? huh????:confused3:rotfl2:
