Chris's final scenes as Adam were really sad today. For him to find out he really does have the disease he was faking, and that the injections will prevent any treatment, seems like poetic justice. But when Ashley was the one to comfort him, it really got to me.

It got to me too. I'm more conveinced then ever Adam will steal Sharon's baby girl and give to Ashley. Adam will feel like he owes it to Ashley.

isn't it funny that' estella's trial starts only a day or 2 after she's been arrested while it takes months and months to find out that adam was poking hes eyes out

:headache::eek::rolleyes:[

A little OT, but does Eden remind you of the Pugsly Munster??? I think that Eden is Pugsly reincarnated!!! :lmao::lmao:

we want eden we want eden - hardly

the new adam starts today.

first opinion - hummmmm not as good as the old adam

New Adam?? Ugh! I hate it when they change the actors and actresses.. Still don't like the new "Mac" - and she can't act with a darn..:headache:

He quit due to storyline and I can't blame him one bit. :sad2: But I am sad to see him go.

I hope the new Adam is not a big disappointment. :confused3

unfortunately unless he gets better he is a disappointment - very wooden

He quit? Was it because he didn't like the gaslighting of Ashley or the fact that he was really going to have to play the part of being blind? :confused3

I believe he wasn't happy with direction of the storyline for awhile but the straw that broke the camel's back is when he 'read' that he had to wake up in bed with Rafe and share a kiss with him.....

most reports is that he quit because adam is going to kiss rafe raif whatever his name is.

and it's just not something that he was willing to do.

(i would hope the fact that the story lines suck would be part of it too)

Thank you both for your replies.. :goodvibes I was going to add the "kiss" to the possible reasons, but didn't want to chance offending anyone..

I dont think anyone can replace this Adam. His face gestures and grins are his and his alone. He is easy to have a love hate relationship with. And how crazy is this guy, I mean injecting medicine into your retina:eek::eek::eek::eek:

and how stupid is Victor to believe his story :rotfl2: Victor is also turning into a wimp. What happened to that victor we loved to hate.

And Ashley...geesh ...I'm waiting for her to crawl in a corner and whither away.

I just dont know what to do with Heather. She is so the worse. They need a different actress to take her place.

And again where the heck is Katheryn's Husband...he has been gone so ling I am forgetting what his name is :lmao:

What are they doing to Nikki. They are making her look very strange.:rotfl:

I hate Nick and Sharon together. There is no chemistry AT ALL any more. They dont even seem to really be in love. Phylis and Nick were very convincing to me that they had a passionate and loving relationship. I think Nick is kidding himself and just caught up in what Cassie said to him in a dream.

This soap is in so many crazy story lines that all the crazy seems to be blending together. There seems to be no debth to the storys anymore.

A Closer Look -- Mac

An emergency with Kay brings Mac and Billy together this week, as Mac finally comes to her senses about the depth of her feelings for her first love. Clementine Ford discusses the turn of events.

WEEKLY: Mac is hit with another bombshell about her bad boy ex, while things are heating up between them in this suite at the GCAC. What happens?

FORD: Chloe comes in and says that Sharon's getting her paternity test. She says something along the lines of, "I thought you would want to know if you were going to be a dad." It's devastating for Mac to think that this is the kind of person Billy's become. Mac takes off. Even though Mac gives other people a hard time for running, she's a runner.

WEEKLY: Later, Mac goes back to the suite to pick up something she left behind, finds Chloe there, and they end up having a chat. What can you share about their discussion?

FORD: Chloe tells Mac she loves Billy as he is. She knows all his faults and has been there, and Mac hasn't been there. Chloe says that Mac loves Billy for who she wants to make him. For Mac it's more she loves Billy for who he was. It's not that she wants to change him. It's that she genuinely knows Billy is a good person -- that he's in there. Even though Billy is embroiled in all of this mess with Sharon, Mac's sure that good person is still in there.

WEEKLY: Later, Billy goes to see Mac to tell her he's done trying to push them back together. How does she react?

FORD: Mac definitely does not want him to be done. I'm not trying to say anything has been calculated, because I don't think it's that. But in that moment, it really hits Mac. She's thinking, "Please, no. Please don't stop."

WEEKLY: As Billy is saying goodbye to Mac, Murphy calls out to get help for Kay, and she's rushed to the hospital. What happens?

FORD: Mac sees that Billy is genuinely scared and concerned about Kay. She sees the pain he's in.

WEEKLY: How does this reaction affect Mac?

FORD: When Billy said that he was done pushing the two of them together, it was the first little clue he still is the person Mac thinks he is. This is the second clue. Billy's right there, together with Mac and focused on Kay.

WEEKLY: Mac gets word that Kay is going to be fine and goes to share the news with Billy, who's in the chapel. She overhears him asking God to make sure Mac has a good life without him. What happens next?

FORD: Mac falls apart a little bit. She's touched and moved and happy. The best way I can describe this is with that expression that's very overused: If you love someone, set them free. That's what Billy is doing. Mac sees that Billy is letting her go because he loves her.

WEEKLY: It propels Mac to tells Billy how she really feels. What does she say?

FORD: Mac tells Billy not to be embarrassed she overheard what he said. It's important that she did, because that's what let her know the man she fell in love with is still there. She tells Billy that everybody makes mistakes, and she wants to be with him.

WEEKLY: Mac and Billy fall into a passionate kiss and reunite, which should make fans happy. (Um... no.)

FORD: Hopefully! Mac absolutely thinks she and Billy can make things work. She also knows they live in a small town and need to keep their reunion quiet. They need to figure things out, just the two of them, before letting everybody else in.

There is an article in SOW about the Sharon/Nick/Jack/Phyllis story, but it essentially gives the same information as this one, so I won't be posting it.

Mama Drama for Y&R's Sharon!
Sharon makes a shocking sacrifice for Phyllis

Last week, Sharon peeked at the CVS test and was thrilled to discover that Nick is the father of her baby. But while Sharon was waiting to share the happy news with Nick, he got a frantic phone call from Phyllis that their daughter, Summer, went into anaphylactic shock and was rushed to the hospital. Oh boy!

Nick meets a terrified Phyllis at the hospital where the doctor delivers a scary prognosis. "She's in bad shape," grimaces Joshua Morrow, "She's facing brain damage, so it's very serious. Her reaction to her peanut allergy was so severe that her body is shutting down. It's not easy being a Newman kid because they always end up in the hospital fighting for their lives."

Meanwhile, Sharon waits anxiously for Nick. "Finally, she checks her voicemail and Nick has left a message," explains Sharon Case. "She listens to it and finds out that he's at the hospital with Summer."

As Nick prays by her bedside, Phyllis lashes out. "She wants Nick to be there for Summer, but not necessarily be there for Phyllis," notes Morrow. "So it's tough because you have to cast all feelings aside about everything else and focus on getting your daughter healthy and well. Phyllis tells Nick that he can leave, but he insists he's not going anywhere. He wants to be there for Summer every step of the way. So not matter what Phyllis says, Nick is not leaving."

Michelle Stafford adds, "Phyllis isn't digging Nick right now, but in a way, she does feel bad because she loves Nick. She does feel his pain as far as possibly losing another daughter. She knows this is a reminder of what happened before."

Sharon eavesdrops at the door and sees just how much stress Nick and Phyllis are under. "Sharon then overhears a conversation that Phyllis and Nick are having," reveals Cast. "Nick is saying that he really needs to be there for Summer. He couldn't live with himself if he abandoned Phyllis. After Cassie died, Nick left Sharon. The worst possible thing you could do is walk away from your life to be with another woman after your child has died. Nick realizes how horrible what he did to Sharon was back then. Now, Summer could die and he feels that now isn't the right time for him to walk away from Phyllis. He doesn't exactly say that, but he hints it to Phyllis, and Sharon knows exactly what he's talking about."

Phyllis isn't confused about why Nick is hanging around. "She knows it's for Summer," acknowledges Stafford. "But Phyllis wants her daughter to come out of this coma and that her chances are better if her father is talking to her. That's the only thing on Phyllis's mind. It's not like, "Oh, yay! Nick's around!'"

Sharon goes to the hospital chapel and pleads with God to give her a way to help Nick through this potential tragedy. Later, she meets with Nick to offer her support and he asks about the test results. "Sharon decides that n ow isn't the time for her to tell Nick that he's the father of the baby," explains Cast. "In fact, she tells him that they can wait to open the results after Summer gets better. She lies because if she tells him that she looked at the results, he would make her tell him. So, she decides on this little white lie to keep his mind and attention off of it so he can focus on what's unfolding with Summer."

However, Sharon goes a little further to help Nick do the right thing. She goes to Jimmy's bar, where she finds Billy and Jack. "They're both anticipating the best or worst news," chuckles Peter Bergman. "For Billy, Sharon being pregnant with his kid is the worst, and for Jack, the best would be if she is pregnant with his kid."

That's when Sharon blurts out the lie of all lies: Jack is the father of her baby. "It's one of those things that as the lie is coming out of your mouth, you're not even sure you're doing the right thing," chuckles Case. "Nick needs to be with Phyllis and Summer, so right now, this lie is the only thing that makes the most sense to Sharon."

Of course, Jack couldn't be happier. "He suspects nothing about her lying," smiles Bergman. "He's elated. Jack's kind of a new man in terms of family, and has had a realization that this is what gives life meaning. He suddenly wants this more than anything in the world! He hasn't done the work with his two kids and he's eager to fix that. This is his opportunity for redemption."

Billy is relieved by the news. "He's already been down this road with Chloe, and though he loves his daughter, his whole life has been complicated," says Billy Miller. "He definitely isn't ready to go through it again!"

Sharon is somewhat buoyed by Jack's enthusiasm. "Jack has been through enough that he probably has learned from his mistakes and really is a changed person," Case explains. "If Jack has been having all these epiphanies, maybe he's ready to be a great man and father. Sharon also tells Jack that Nick doesn't know that he isn't the father of the baby yet because Summer is in the hospital."

Uh-oh! Mary Jane is sitting nearby and hears the exchange. Back at the hospital, Nick is worried because he hasn't heard from Sharon. While Nick makes a call, Mary Jane swings by and informs Phyllis that Jack is the father of Sharon's bun in the oven. "Phyllis is a little stunned, but she's not happy or sad," says Stafford. "Right now, she doesn't care about that so much. It's not even a blip on her radar. Her priority is Summer."

Phyllis gets pissed when she finds out that Nick is leaving a message for Sharon. "He says something like, 'I'm sorry, I haven't heard from Sharon in a couple of hours and I was worried that something happened to the baby,'" says up Stafford. "Phyllis comes back with, 'This baby is more important than your daughter in a coma?' Phyllis is just over Nick at this point! So she tells him that Sharon's baby is not even his."

Nick is stunned by the news and tracks Sharon down. "When he tells her that he knows, she's thinking, 'Oh crap!'" sighs Case. "She didn't want the lie to get this far because she wasn't really sure if she was going to stick to that plan. So it's snowballing and she's got to make a new decision to say it's true and let this lie keep going or put a stop to it now."

Sharon decides on the former. "Nick is crushed," groans Morrow. "He really wanted this baby to be his. Considering the situation he's going through with Summer right now, he's really heartbroken. he thought this was the fulfillment of Cassie's prophecy."

Sharon tells Nick that his wife and Summer need him. Adds Case, "He asks her if it's a girl and she tells him it is, but not his girl."

Sharon goes back to her hotel suite and Jack soon arrives. "It just kills her as she watches him bond with the baby," notes Case. "It makes her confused and she's feeling weirdly disconnected in her head. Because she feels guilty, she gets irritated with Jack and just wants to get away from him. She doesn't know what else to do."

Jack is understanding. "He is willing to be patient and hopes that things will work out between them," Bergman points out. "It's pretty powerful how caught up in all of this Jack is."

Later, an emotional Noah swings by to visit his mother. "He's very upset about Summer," Case explains. "It really looks like she might not make it, so he's scared about losing another sister. Sharon then tells him that Jack is the father of her baby. Now she has committed to this lie and there is no going back. Noah's been disillusioned with his mom and has lost a lot of respect for her in the last few months. It's not like she can come back the next day and say, 'Sorry, I was just making that up.' Maybe Nick and Jack could forgive her, but it's another thing to lie to Noah. it's a big commitment and a big risk."

Despite the huge sacrifice that Sharon has made to keep Nick's family intact, Phyllis is confronted with a stunning accusation that may still rip the Newmans apart. Thanks, Mary Jane!

Y&R's Adam Seduces Rafe!

After Estella is cuffed for the gaslighting of Ashley, Rafe is determined to prove his aunt's innocence. But when a suspicious Rafe corners Adam at the Newman Ranch and demands to take a look around his bedroom, Adam quickly concocts a plan to distract his friend so he won't find the evidence that he framed Estella: He seduces Rafe and states that he has feelings for him!

Adam's scheme throws Rafe off course -- for now. He later calls Adam and tells him that he returns his feelings. Meanwhile, Adam is shaken and invites Heather over. She senses that something is wrong with him, but he calms her concerns with passionate sex.

"At this point in the game, Heather still doesn't think Adam is up to anything," notes Vail Bloom. "She doesn't suspect that he's been scheming against Ashley or putting Botox in his eyes or putting the blame on Estella or any of that. She truly believes that he's changed and that he's innocent when it comes to everything that's happened with Ashley. The thing is, Ashley has been their ally against Victor and got him to let Heather visit Adam at the house, so to her, it wouldn't make sense that Adam would do anything to Ashley."

Still, Heather tells Ashley that she'll do everything she can in the cast against Estella. "It's interesting because a friendship is developing between Ashley and Heather," explains Bloom. "Heather feels for her and what she's going through. She's very compassionate when it comes to Ashley."

As for Adam, how long can he continue with his scheme before Rafe and Heather find out? "It's getting tougher for him to hide everything," points out Bloom. "A lot of twists and turns and nooks and crannies are going to be exposed, and I don't know if Heather is going to believe him for much longer. Right now, she might not suspect anything is wrong, but I'm sure there are going to be a couple of things that pique her interest. Love is blind, but Heather is a pretty smart woman."

Can I just say that Heather is as dumb as a box of rocks?? :rotfl::rotfl:
