Hi all.:wave2:
I watched a bit of yesterday's espisode this morning. Question and I am sorry if it was answered in a previous episode that I did not see....can someone please explain what is Michael's plan with the guy and the ring and who is he? Is he someone who bought the ring from the pawn shop owner? Why did Kevin & Amber break into the pawn shop if they knew the ring was sold? And now is this guy in on the fact that she does not remember that she is Katherine? How does he know Katherine in the first place?

Sorry, that just confused me a little bit!

Thanks!!

You are right! Amber & Kevin broke into the pawn shop to either find the ring or find out who had it. They found the receipt that had the guys info on it. Amber also left her cellphone there by mistake. That was the guy Kay met was the guy who bought the ring for $100,000,000 from the pawn broker. Michael told the guy that it will be proven with the ring that Kay is still alive. I'm thinking the guy was caught completely off gaurd, and he felt he had no choice

Sharon is at the cabin, she decides to write down her thoughts. She ends up writing about everything she's been through, it was mostly about Cassie's death, what happened afterwards, her feelings for Nick. She later takes the letter, prepared to burn it w/ the firewood. Brad hears Noah's cries for help, Eden herself has gone to call 911. When Eden returns she sees Noah is out of the water but unconcious, Brad is nowhere to be seen. Jack and Ashley are talking about his offer to Gloria and his divorce from Sharon. He keeps saying that he screwed up but Sharon's heart was always with Nick. Ashley believes Sharon did love Jack and they were happy but its his screw ups that cost him his marriage. Nick, Michael, Phyllis and Lauren get news about Noah being in the hospital. When Nick sees Noah, flashbacks of Cassie come flooding back to him. Nick takes his anger out on those around him. Colleen joins Ashley, Abby and Jack. She is getting worried about her father, he hasn't shown up yet. Jack gets news about Noah from Phyllis, Abby wants to go to the hospital but is told not to. Abby is already blaming Eden for what happened, knowing she talked Noah into this. Noah awakens to see Nick, Phyllis and Jack by his side. Noah has no memory of who saved him. Nick tells Phyllis he has to get to Sharon, since earlier attempts to get hold of her by Jack and Lauren failed. Ashley, Abby and Colleen's worry for where Brad is increases. Brad's car is shown covered w/ snow

Next - Colleen asks JT for his help in finding Brad. Phyllis tries to talk Nick out of driving to the cabin but he wants to tell Sharon about Noah. Phyllis tells Jack she's going after Nick

Yes, he's leaving next week I think. Not his choice.

The Young and the Restless » News » 2008 » Don Diamont ousted after more than 20 years with Y&R

by Dan J Kroll

Long-time Y&R vet, Don Diamont, has been let go. The decision to axe the 20-plus-year veteran was said to be motivated by the show's bottom line. Like many soaps, The Young and the Restless is having to make cuts to stay afloat in these difficult economic times.

In times of economic crisis, even television's top-rated daytime drama series is not immune to money woes. The Young and the Restless, like so many other soaps, is being forced to trim its costs. In a stunning move, the show has decided to cut from its roster a star who has been with the show for nearly a quarter of a century.

Though the network has so far declined comment, soapcentral.com has learned that Don Diamont (Brad Carlton) will exit the show in early 2009. And if what two sources are telling soapcentral.com is true, the actor's exit will be permanent -- very permanent.

Diamont joined the cast of The Young and the Restless in 1984 and remained a central player through 1995. The actor took a three-year break from the show, in which he completed several feature films, but ultimately returned in June 1998. He's been a member of the cast ever since. In 1990, Diamont was named one of People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People.

There are already message board rumors hinting that Diamont might transition from Genoa City to Los Angeles, the setting of The Bold and the Beautiful, as actress then-fired Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott) did in 2007. While the actor might find work there, it is unlikely that he would appear as Brad Carlton.

Y&R's writing team is reportedly gearing up to kill off Brad. The plot twist will kick off a storyline that will keep Brad's family in the forefront of the show for quite some time.

"We appreciate the many years Don spent on Y&R and we wish him the best of luck in the future," a show spokesperson said in a statement.

Guilt gets the worst of Billy, unable to take it anymore he comes clean with Lily about being the father of Chloe's baby. Lily lashes out at both Billy and Chloe, Chloe goes into labor. Lily is comforted by Cane.

I'm gonna tell ya'll I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO not happy about this! Lily comforts Cane, thats BS!:sad2:

Wouldn't Cane be the one who needs comforting? He seems happy with the idea of having a baby girl, and now she's been taken from him.

It does seem to me that Cane should feel a great deal of confusion. Because it seems that he has fallen in love with the baby already. But who knows. :confused3

Just wanted to jump in and say that I always thought Brad was so handsome, I love watching him.::yes::

I am just thankful his death is accidental. The last trial scenario was sooo boring. Is his body going to be missing, though, so people will think someone killed him?

Me too!! Remember when he did the "When will you say yes?" video for Ashley (back when he proposed and she took her sweet time about answering :rolleyes2 and ended up with Victor instead???) He was shirtless and wearing MC Hammer pants and he did this whole little dance to go with the song :faint: Since they are bringing back his greatest hits, they should show that one again!!!

:dancer:
Brad dancing! :rotfl:

A few thoughts about today's episode......

- First of all, Nick looked really good in that sweater!;)
- So sad that when he first saw Noah in the hospital, he had that flashback
of Cassie.
- Michael and Lauren better take off the kids' glove when dealing with Eden.
That girl is constantly lying to them and they really need to put her on a
tighter leash.
- Are they never going to find Brad's body? So I guess this means he's just
washed away, like Drucilla? Is there some place downstream that all the old
Y&R characters go to die?

I watched today's episode and half of yesterday's (our govenor was impeached yesterday, so only the second half aired :sad2: )

Am I the only one who thought the site of mighty, powerful Victor Newman with a juice box was the funniest thing?! :rotfl:

Ditto to PP about Nick in that sweater ::yes::

I am glad they didn't draw out the whole Noah underwater and "is he gonna die" stuff.

Was yesterday Brad's last day?????????????? :sad1: I thought is was February, but maybe I am wrong...

Can't wait for Nick and Sharon next week!!! :cool1:

I believe Malcom was already discovered alive but then moved away so I don't think he's considered dead anymore. :thumbsup2

Loving this show. :)
