I like Murphy and hope he stays in Katherine's life. Jeanne Cooper needs a new love interest. How great for an 80 year old woman to have a front burner storyline again! Plus, I love all the original actors.

Heather's boss questions Adam, who continues to lie pissing Heather off. Heather vows to go after Adam and dumps him! Victor tells JT and Victoria about hiring Paul and having a plan. Later, JT recieves a text from Paul stating he's found something in Mexico that will bury Adam and Jack! Marge pawns her ring for $10,000 and gives the money to Murphy. Later, the man from the pawnshop is on the phone w/ someone saying he got the ring Jack confronts Gloria in jail, she says she was set up and didn't tamper the cream. Jack knows she's lying and rips into her for hurting his father, Jabot and how someone died as a result of what she did Jeffrey tells a furious Ashley and Jill what Gloria did, both vow revenge on Gloria

Next -- Ashley is next to rip into Gloria; Phyllis is still upset over Nick's kiss w/ Sharon; Nikki visits Victor in jail

Y&R: Kay's Memory Returns

Katherine continues to live her life as "Marge" as the holidays approach, allowing her and Murphy continue growing closer. The two of them even plan a special holiday surprise for each other.

Meanwhile, all of Katherine's loved ones are still mourning her death in Genoa City. Jill and Esther receive a bunch of gag gifts that Katherine arranged to be sent before she died, allowing the two of them to bond. They bond even further when Jill plans a special Christmas celebration for the children at the homeless shelter.

Amber continues to be haunted by her suspicion that Kevin was somehow involved in Katherine's death. She even has a dream of Kevin being on trial and Katherine coming back from the dead to accuse him of drugging her.

Katherine ends up slipping on the ice outside of Murphy's house, prompting some of her memories to return. Jeanne Cooper laughs that "she bonked her head and went out, then bonks her head and comes back. I love it."

Murphy is scared when he finds Kay unconscious on the ice. When she wakes up, she is immediately freaked out by the idea of visiting a doctor. That's when she remembers her real name. Her memory isn't all there yet, but she knows that her name isn't really Marge. She admits to Murphy, "I am Katherine Chancellor."

Cooper says that Katherine always had the sense that she wasn't Marge. She never felt as though she belonged at a diner, waiting tables. She always felt like she had another life, outside of Marge's.

Will Kay return home and continue to recall her life? Jeanne Cooper teases: "There are some more twists in this storyline. St. Maria really knows how to weave that tapestry together and find all the beats in a story. There are some delicious things coming up! It's about to get really interesting."

Heather is comforted by Paul in regards to her revelation about Adam and their break up Jack confides in Sharon about Gloria. Sharon thinks of how kind Jack was to Gloria only to get screwed over by her. Ashley rips into Gloria about her actions and vows to have Gloria pay for what she's done Lowell returns to the Baldwin home taking Eden's teddy bear w/ him, little does he realize that Eden already found the cash and Noah is keeping it for her. Later, Lowell throws a fit realizing the money is gone Gloria is served divorce papers by Jeffrey and is later told by her family that Lowell is not the man they thought he was Sharon brings by a gift for Summer as well as Noah's gift. Nick tells her about Phyllis knowing they kissed. Phyllis is pissed seeing them together, Sharon leaves while Nick realizes he's in trouble Jack is at Jabot and lectures Ghost John about Gloria, Ghost John says he loved her and didn't have reasons to be suspicious of her Sharon returns home kicking Jeffrey out of her home as well as the poolhouse. She also sends Fisher after him Adam is arrested again when he comes to see Victor. Heather is all set to prosecute him, while Rafe has been assigned to help Adam. Adam says that DA has nothing on him but Heather shows him the witness Paul has brought (it's that man who owns the bar in Mexico, he brought his daughter as well)

Next - Paul asks Nikki where they stand in their relationship; The man from Mexico tells Victor his secret is safe with him

I just love to read this thread!!! There certainly are ALOT of characters that I wouldn't mind seeing GONE from this show!! Gloria--cause her eyes creap me out, Jeffrey is such an idiot and needs to go back to Knott's Landing, Eden cause they can't seem to get an actress who can act to play her, Billy cause he's forever a troublemaker and he needs to take his true love troublemaking Chloe with him, Tyra cause she's a homewrecker , oh, and she can take Phyllis with her since they both are the same type of person!!!

Whew, I feel better now....

I hope Katherine takes Murphy back to GC with her!! He her!!! Also, Cane needs to go back to Lily... they're never gonna make it apart!!!

The secret that Lily discovers is not about the paternity of Chloe's baby. But rather that Billy is her cyberspace friend Sony. At first Lily is angry with Billy but when he explains to her that the reason he kept it a secret was because she seemed to still be hung up on Cane she forgives him.

There is an interview with Maria Arena Bell in one of the soap magazines. She says the same think that viewers have been commenting on i.e that Billy is very similar to the younger Jack. And she hints that Lily and Billy will become a serious couple. She talks about how the foursome of Cane/Lily/Billy/Chloe has infused the show with new energy.

MAB also said that in the upcoming year the show will focus on Nikki, Victor, Katherine and Jack. Interesting that of the veterans she only mentioned these four. MAB says nothing in the interview about Phyllis/Nick/Sharon.

Next week (12/22/08) Nikki and Victor discuss the management of their children's trust funds. They actually manage to have a civil conversation and a positive moment as Nikki shows Victor pictures from Summer's birthday party. Then Nikki asks Victor what happened in Mexico and Victor goes ballistics. According to co-head writer Hogan Sheffield one of the reasons Victor is furious with Nikki is that since she was in Mexico she is a reminder to him of what went down in Mexico. According to Sheffield Nikki is Victor's "conscience" about what happened in Mexico.

The bartender from the bar in Mexico and his daughter visit Victor in jail and the bartender whispers to Victor "your secret is safe with me." According to Sheffield what the bartender and his daughter know are "little parts of the big picture which if put together by the authorities could make Victor look like a premeditated murderer."

When Victor sees Adam in jail Adam offers Victor a deal. He will turn on Jack if Victor sees that the charges are dropped against him. Victor tells Adam that he wants to see him go to jail and won't agree to the deal.

When Victor is released on bail he is surprised to find Ashley at the ranch and she tellls him she has moved in. Victor wants to tell Ashley what happened in Mexico but she refuses to listen to everything he wants to tell her. Her attitude is that she knows what happened but does not need to know all the details. After Ashley walks away Victor has flashbacks to what happened in Mexico. According to Sheffield what we learn about events in Mexico is "surprisng."

Paul returns from Mexico and tells Heather he found evidence against Adam. Paul wants to discuss with Nikki their relationship and asks her to define the relationship.

ITA that this thread is fun . I like Gloria she is such a person that you love to hate because it is all about gloria...me me me....even when it comes to her love for her boys...it still involves her and the me me me.

Jeffery..well he is just someone that you have to hate. There is nothing good about the man. But I do like Gloria and him together. Two peas in a pod. Although after what he did to Gloria I hope the tables get turned around and they find a way for him to be blamed for the face cream. Gloria will beat the rap as does everyone else on the show ...like Victor, Jack, Bradley, Kevin and so on.

Eden is okay I guess...they need to have a better story line for her besides being a whinny teen.

I like Billy a lot.....he is cute and I like his sense if humor. Would I date him...nah....have a one night stand with him...ummmm I would like to see him and Cloe together. I think together they could be a fun couple to watch. They have a lot of chemistry together. Cane and Chloe = no chemistry...Cane and lily= chemistry. Billie and Lily=no chemistry...Billy and Chloe=chemistry.

Although I must add that I dont like Cane at all. He seems like a whinning little boy all the time.

Tyra....well lets just say I fast forward when i see her and parts with her daughter/niece.

Phyllis...love Phyllis. Have always liked her. Think she adds trouble also all the time but have always liked her story lines from the very first day she came on the show. I like her and Nick together alot also. Sharon is boring and did not like her and Jack together..he was old enough to be her father. Remember....he is around the same age as Nikki.

lets see who else can I talk about. Adam. I like Adam and when he makes that sad face I feel sorry for him. He is a smart man that is soooo stupid not to mention a creep when it comes to how to treat people. How could he have turned out that way when his mom was so grounded. I would hate to see Adam leave and wold like to see him and his family come together some how. He needs family badly and wants it with the Newmans but tries to act like he needs no one. He loves Heather and he also had to ruin that.

Well I could go on and on .....so I'll stop here seems I like the villians. They bring some excitement to the show. I like to end the show with a "Geesh why did he/she do such a stupid thing," shaking my head...... and sure love all these spoilers...thanks for that

Rafe tries to convince the judge to give Adam bail but Heather says Adam will just go on the run, the judge believes her and doesn't give Adam bail Nikki comes to see Victor, she has some documents she needs him to sign in regards to their children and grandchildren's trust -- to prove he's alive. They end up arguing again w/ Nikki calling him an arrogant son of a ***** and Victor continuing to blame Nikki for the death of Sabrina and his unborn child Lily continues to unknowingly chat w/ Billy, they later arrange to meet in person Katherine/Marge and Murphy get a Christmas tree, decorate it. Katherine has another flashback The bartendar and his daughter come to see Victor. The bartendar tells Victor his secret is safe w/ him and that he knew Adam and Jack were upto no good

Next - Katherine/Marge is outside walking, the ground is slippery and she ends up falling; Adam tries to make a deal w/ Victor; Lily meets Billy realizing he is the guy she's been chatting w/ online
