"You want to ride Dinosaur again?" - New 10/21 - The End!

I'm not sure how I missed your LMA update, but I did! Oops!

Great pictures of the show! We really enjoy that one....we didn't see the jet-ski this time, not sure why. :confused3

How fun to enjoy the pool at the end of a great day!

Awesome that you can see Illuminations from your beach....can't wait to see pics of that!

Great Mystery Pic, but I'm too late to play. :headache:

Thanks for the great update! :woohoo:

Fantastic action shots!! You really had great bus mojo too. That is wonderful that you could see Illuminations. It sounds like you are having a great trip so far :thumbsup2.

More to come on Illuminations - we actually watched the whole show from the beach with the kids one night. It was fun!

I just want to take a minute to go off topic to mention that this week is Zachary's last week at preschool. He graduates on Friday. and

He visited kindergarten last week... he's getting all grown up on me! :sad2:

I'll post some pictures of the little event on Friday - they don't do a graduation ceremony, but he has a little concert. I should also be getting his school pictures this week & we had one shot taken with a cap & gown. :goodvibes

Up Next: Sad, sad, news

Aww! Time goes too fast! I hope you two enjoy this last week of preschool and then his whole new adventure into kindergarten! Looking forward to seeing the pics!

Congratulations, Zachary!

Amy, sending them off to kindergarten is definitely one of those mixed emotions kind of things! I cried buckets with both of mine!

Congrats to Zach on finshing pre-school.... my kids are finshing up school this week and it is hard to believe the twins will be incoming 5th graders in the fall and Mae will be in 1st grade!

I never cried at the beginning of K, but I can see it happening when my baby Margaret starts school...I know I'll be teary when the twins move on to middle school...but since I'll still have 1 at the grammar school and 1 on the way., I will be OK...but I'll seriously need someone to hole my hand when Margaret makes her step up day to middle school luckily I have 9 yrs before that...and let's not even think about the twins graduating from HS in 2017....YIKES scary!

ok need to get the above said children to school.....

Luckily the photopass leader didn't sound bothered to send me a new CD. Hopefully it comes soon.

Middle school scares me to death!! :scared1: Luckily there are three more years before I have to deal with that - but I know it will fly by!

I fell behind on my TRs this week so I hadn't heard about Missy's photopass issues - I'll have to get caught up over there. But at least I have a few photos I can post shortly. :thumbsup2

Since I have to wait for a new photopass CD to arrive, but I have a few of the pictures, I'll post what I have from the first 2 days:

Here are the photopass pictures from Day 1 - as we were leaving Epcot to go to MK:

Great PhotoPass pics! I hope your issue with the CD gets worked out quickly!
Isn't it disappointing to get it and be all excited...then it doesn't work?? I'm glad you at least got a few to post...they're awesome! :thumbsup2

We didn't end up getting a family picture in front of SE at Epcot..not sure how that happened! I don't remember seeing a photopass photographer there....must have missed him! Oh well!

Looking forward to the rest of the pictures! :goodvibes

Nice pictures Amy....

It's always nice to have those few family shots to look at the end of the trip. I like the last one in AK the best....cause I can see your pretty eyes :goodvibes

I noticed that the pp photographers were hit or miss - sometimes they were right where you expected and sometimes they weren't. :confused3 Plus sometimes they were in places you didn't expect. :thumbsup2

Oh thanks... That was my hat day too - AK is always sooo hot so I decided I should wear my hat. That's the hat I almost lost on Splash Mountain with my mom last year. I got it at the American Adventure in Epcot in 2002. I don't wear hats very often, but that one always makes an appearance sometime during each Disney trip.

Finally, our first walk up Main Street!! (Sorry - not a lot of photos this morning.)

Wednesday 4/29 – MK Day!
8:00 Bus to MK
9:00 Rope Drop @ MK – enter through right tunnel!
Head to Fantasyland – Pooh, Peter Pan, IASW,
Head to Tomorrowland – Buzz Lightyear, Laugh Factory, Race Cars?
Head to Frontierland – (CS #3)
TSI to run off steam
Haunted Mansion, BTMRR, Splash Mtn., POC, Jungle Cruise?
4:15-4:30 Head out of park to the Contemporary
5:00 Chef Mickeys (TS #2)

We followed the usual morning routine – Alex was up first – Tim got him settled then went for our coffees. When I got up I went over to OPR and got Tim’s breakfast sandwich for him – this time I used a CS credit. Breakfast meals come with 2 drinks & no sides of any kind. I was hoping you could get fruit or something like that since the 2 drinks wouldn’t do us any good. I think I might have gotten a juice along with the sandwich. Zachary finally woke up – and he was cranky today! He didn’t want to go anywhere today! We finally left the room about 8:45 – we definitely weren’t going to make the 9:00 park opening. We arrived at 9:15, which wasn’t bad considering our late start – we were still there early enough to get a lot accomplished before lunch. And thanks to Heidi, we made sure to enter via the right tunnel!!

Alex wanted to head to BTMRR first – Zach wanted IASW then BTMRR. We were going to split up, but Alex decided he wanted to ride IASW first with us. Off to Fantasyland we went – stopping twice on Main Street for some photopass pictures (I’ll post them as soon as I get my new CD). Fantasyland was empty:

We had a lovely ride on IASW – as always. But then Zach didn’t want BTMRR so we split up – Zach & I went to ride Winnie the Pooh, while Tim took Alex over to BTMRR & Splash Mtn.

I don’t know why these came out so funny, but here are a few shots from Winnie the Pooh:

After Winnie the Pooh we visited the gift shop and purchased Winnie the Pooh lollipops for Zachary’s classmates – they were 5 for $5. With treats in hand, Zach decided he was ready for BTMRR. I tried to call Tim but couldn’t get through so we just headed to Frontierland. It was starting to get busy, but it wasn’t too bad yet:

I still couldn’t reach Tim so Zach & I rode BTMRR.

IMG_3048.jpg

After the ride I finally got in touch with Tim – they had been on Splash Mountain. The boys wanted to ride BTMRR & Splash again so we switched and I pulled out my poncho for Splash with Alex while Tim took Zach on BTMRR again. I was surprised that I didn’t see another poncho anywhere on Splash. It was a fun ride! I got pretty wet – even with the poncho! I stashed my wet poncho on top of the stroller.

After our rides we met up again and Zach suggested the Haunted Mansion – which we had missed in 2007. (I did get to ride it in 2008 with my mom though.)

IMG_3045.jpg

Zachary’s eyes were huge in the stretching room – I wasn’t sure he’d make it to the doom buggies. I rode with Alex – he kept telling me he would keep me safe.

After HM we decided to stop for an early lunch at CHH since we were right there. We grabbed our stroller and walked the very short distance to the restaurant – there were a few strollers parked outside the door so we parked ours there. As we were walking inside we noticed that one of the straps on Zach’s croc was broken! :headache: I was so bummed – he had just gotten them at the very end of last summer – they were practically brand new. I knew we could find a pair of Disney crocs somewhere at MK, but Zach loves his jibbitz and the holes are too big on the Mickey crocs and the jibbitz fall out.

When we got inside we found a seat in the small room to the left of the area where you order. I left Tim there with the boys and I got the food. Tim had fish & chips, Alex had a kids chicken meal with carrots for him and applesauce for Zach and I shared an 8 piece chicken nugget meal with Zach. (3 CS credits) I got Tim a piece of chocolate cake and I had the apple crisp for dessert – it was sooooo good!! Zach wanted one of his lollipops for dessert (we had a few extras) and Alex didn’t want anything there – he wanted to find some ice cream. (Sorry no food pix.)

While we were eating we saw a family that looked familiar – I could tell she recognized us, but couldn’t place us either. Finally I recognized the little girl from swimming lessons at the YMCA. She wasn’t in Zach’s class, but she had a class at the same time. I said hello on the way out – they were only visiting for 1 day. :sad2: When we left CHH we couldn’t find our stroller! :confused3 Apparently we were supposed to park it back at the HM – where we had moved it from! :rolleyes1 When we finally found it I noticed that the poncho was gone. It was one of the nice Disney ponchos that I’d saved from our last trip. Oh well – we didn’t have ANY rain that week so it turned out ok.

Our next mission was to find crocs – I took a closer look at the broken shoe and was surprised to find that the strap had just popped out, it hadn’t actually torn like they usually do (we’ve gone through several pairs of crocs for this reason). I was able to pop it back in and we were good to go – no more crocs incidents all week! :cool1:
