You think I can get discount on an upgrade via virgin?

Hey. I'm upgrading my hotel from Saratoga Springs to Yacht Club. Anyone think if I do it over the phone I could get a cheeky discount? Not sure how these things work.

I doubt it but you can try.If you have another company to compare it to that are offering lower minus what you would loose by cancelling with virgin. They may even ask for an amendment fee but I think if you up grade they dont.Good luck.

I would doubt it as well - the first obstacle would be getting the person in the call centre who can actually understand what you are saying.....and then it would be a case of "computer says no" I would think.

My gut feeling is they probably won't but if you don't ask you don't get!

I went to Virgin with comparative prices from Thomas Cook and Thomson and though they offered to take off about £180, they still couldn't get anywhere near the prices from the other two operators. They said that I wouldn't get the 'virgin experience' if I booked with someone else, but I didn't know what that meant, so I went elsewhere anyway!!
