How can people NOT know how bag checking helps to stop ?!?
If the bags are checked for everyone then that limits one way that a terrorist could get in bombs, guns and other stuff! What did people think the security was looking for? Lethal banannas? Fruit bombs? Posion in water bottles...? I am only surprised that Disney still lets guests bring in a pre filled container with "water". Think of all the stuff that could be slipped in there!
And there are more cameras per square foot at WDW then allmost any other place in the US. If you know where/ what to look for you can see them every few yards. And that is only the obsious ones! My DH and DB work for a big international firm that does security for USMilitary bases, and big bussinesses..they had fun pointing out cameras as I pointed out Hidden Mickeys! BTW, they found a LOT more cameras then I did Mickeys! And I had the book!
So don't ever do any thing at WDW that you don't wouldn't want to be seen doing on a large screen TV! I would even bet that there is cameras in the main areas of the bathrooms... NOT in the stalls. I know that on some of the info I have read from WDW it has said that when you buy a ticket you are giving Disney the right to photo and use your image, so that should cover anyone that might not be happy about all the cameras around, no matter where they are!
Goes to show, as Mom said, always were clean underwear, don't pick your nose and , be good (because besides GOD), you never know who is watching you! Big Brother Mouse is doing a good job of keeping us all as safe as he can!
