You know you've been on this Disney forum too long when:

When you get depressed BEFORE your upcoming trip because you don't want to be that close to it ending :flower:

:sad2: I was just thinking that same thing.

*when your at work, school, a shop etc. and if your near a computer you have to resist logging onto here

I have a new one.
...when you have a dream that a friend of yours comes to school wearing a bright green t-shirt with a DIS pin, and you say "omg you're on the DIS too??" and she says "hell yeah!!", and then you dream that you can't wait to post on this thread "you know you've been on this Disney forum too long when you get really excited to find out your friend is a big DISer too!!!"

It's amazing how many of these traits we have!!!

* When your PDA reminder/alarm sound is Grim Grinning Ghosts! ( yep it's great!)

* When you and your daughter watch the planning DVD atleast once per week

* When you are not going to WDW til 2006 but you still ordered the 2005 version to watch it with your daughter

* When you're emailing your brother opening/ rehab dates and excited for their trip this year.

* When you're wife bought you an enourmouse white ceramic piggy bank that has "Monroe Disney Fund" on it. (and you contribute to it everyday whether it's a penny or a dollar)

* When you watch the home video of your 2.5 year old daughter see Cinderella's castle for the first time and it makes you well up like you did when it happened (yep, men well up too)

* When you listen to live365 Disney music everyday at work and never get sick of it.

* When you look forward to helping new people to the board as well as new to WDW

* When you still get excited and are appreciative for receiving help on the DIS

I could keep going, but I'll stop ... for now :-)

When you finally sign up to these discussion boards so you can talk to your wife who is always on here----right Katiesmommy? :rotfl: Luv ya baby! :love2:

Omg you aint right dear--not at all--go back to work! :love2:

LOVE this thread!

*When a co-worker decides to plan a trip and asks your opinion on a good guide book...and you give her a detailed 2-page bibliography of books, videos, and websites...complete with prices, ISBN numbers, and personal annotations! (Can you tell I'm a librarian?)

*When you lie awake at night because same co-worker has only 2 weeks left before her trip and she has NO ITINERARY and NO PS'S!!

*When you try to explain to DH what the "Tag Fairy" is and you keep checking your posts to see if you've been TAGGED!

Oh yeah, THIS is me!! I have a friend going in April--APRIL!!--and I keep asking her, "Have you visited the DIS boards yet?" And she says, "No, but I have saved all of your emails  to read later." APRIL!!!

And in those emails I had the hardest time spelling out names of things. Why doesn't everyone know what IASW stands for when I tell them that it is closed?

I'm really liking this thread.

* When you explain to your SO that the reason that so-and-so from work didn't have a good time at the World was because of their lack of planning.

* When you bargain with your SO for more internet time so you can browse the DIS, promising him that it will all pay off when he has the WDW vacation of a lifetime.

Ali

Oh, I thought of another one!

*When DH asks you a question and you say, "I don't know. I will ask the people on the boards." Thankfully he does know what boards you are talking about, but he does ask, "Why would you ask them? This is not Disney related." And I reply, "They will know. Just trust me. Someone will know. Be right back." And I got an answer too!

When we were moving we needed a realtor so DH said how are we going to find a good realtor I said don't worry I'll ask on the DIS. :teeth: We found a great one, on the DIS :teeth:

When you put water on to boil, then realize that the thing you smell is your pot, bone dry, cooking on the stove!

Yep I ruined one of my best pots today! Bummer!
:)

*when your up until 3 am waiting for another post on the "You know you've been on this Disney forum too long when" thread

...When you return from the World, you avoid the DIS in some effort not depress yourself because you don't have a trip planned, but decide you WILL HAVE TO PLAN a short trip just so you can come here and post to get your disney fix!

So that's why I have delayed filing my trip report ... and why I feel the need to schedule another trip no matter how tentative just so I can get a new ticker in my profile.

You come to know "the regulars" by their screen names and find it odd if you havent seen a post from "so and so" in a while...
