Feel free to add your own!

You know you've been on this Disney forum too long when:

*You are out with friends and are wondering if anyone has responded to your posts, and therefor, you rush to get home.

*You are at work, and SUPPOSED to be working, yet you have your WORK minimized and your forum up, instead of your FORUM minimized and your WORK up.

*You feel like you know nearly every member of the forum by screen name.

*You've seen every single post over the last few days to where you are bored and feel the need to think of a Topic like this one to start.

*You are known at work at the Disney fanatic.

*When people at work or that know you, come up to you and ask advice on their vacation, and instead of just answering a question, you come to the boards and discuss the issues here and then create a presentation for your friend or co-worker.

*You hit "refresh" every 10 seconds to see if anyone responded to your post.

*You get defensive when you think someone on here knows more about Disney than you.

*You beg to be a moderator

* You research online for hours to find a disney fact that nobody on here knows, so you can post it and be a hero.

* You have gotten bored with Love/Hate Eisner discussions

* You get angry when you see another post asking when It's a Small World is Opening.

* You finally figure out what all of the park, resort, and ride abbreviations are. (HM, IASM, POTC, CBR, MK, AK, SM)

* You finally figure out what DD and DH mean in a post.

* You start going to the Disneyland forum to start a war between DisneyWorld being better than Disneyland.

When you can't bear to read opinions that differ from yours and bash the OP for it.

* You get angry when you see another post asking when It's a Small World is Opening.

This is the best one! Although I'm STILL not as bad as my DH :) :) :)

* When you can only shake your head when someone comes on the board and, with all seriousness, asks..."When did 20,000 leagues close...I wanted to take my kids on it but someone told me it was closed. Will It be opening soon?

* when you get very upset when you talk about Walt Disney and some kid says...Who?

Oh, gracious goodness me...would you look at that countdown. And it is incorrect, it should be 2 days!

*When you start thinking of attractions and hotels only in their abbreviated forms and have to remind yourself to say the whole name when you're talking to someone about them!

:rotfl: All of the above!! :rotfl:

When you are happy that someone you know is heading to WDW so you can "offer" them suggestions that end up being their complete itinerary.

I am using this guise to plan a surprise trip for our kids. :ssst:

Thanks for the funny thread.

This is soooo very true....DH keeps telling me to speak English NOT "DIS" :rotfl2:

* When a co-worker comes by your computer and asks what the minimized button on the bottom of the screen that says "The Dis" means. (that's all you can see of it on mine, since so many things are open) ..............and you respond: "I'm using it for work.....it means......"The Digital Investigation Data" for use with our company in helping promote better products".

somebody needs a little more "lovin" to occupy their time :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I do love the thread....let's start a DIS support group!!! :goodvibes

That just happened to me!! I was reading a thread & the person asked about 20,000 leagues...and I was almost afraid to be the poster who told her it was gone!!! :rotfl2:

Oh my gosh this one is so true....DH and I were watching ESPN the other night and the basketball scores were scrolling at the bottom of the screen...took me watching it 3 times before I realized their POR stands for Portlant Trailblazers and not Port Orleans Riverside.... :sunny:

*when you use the boards to plan your holiday 3 YEARS in advance

*when you find a hidden mickey/minnie/goofy etc. around the house (this is happening to me im seeing mickeys everywhere in my cereal in the bathroom even in the book we're reading in school)

When you get as giddy as a child when you get a visit from the "Tag Fairy"!!!

LMAO...thats a great one! Judging by the dates, alot of you have only been here a short time............just wait, lol

For me its the onsite/offsite thing when someone has only done one and has strong opinions about the other. DO both and then comment....drives me insane, lol.

Or when I want to yell at the Newbie who wants you to plan their entire vacation for them in one thread, lol.... do your 3 months+ of research and reading and then ask.

When you have to stop yourself from approaching a stranger in public because somewhere on their person is a lime green article!!! I think those of us who love the DIS are perpetually in a kind of "half in Disney/half out of Disney" dreamstate! We only feel completely aware and happy when we're either on these boards, or actually in Disney! :sunny:

...when your whole family knows they don't need a travel agent to plan a Disney trip, because I will do a better job than any travel agent they can find.

...when you find the "You know you've been on this Disney forum too long when" thread interesting.
