you re-arrange your life to go on a DCL.

Just thought that I'd share this.....

DH is getting his masters in college and just found out that the next class he'd be starting would end (he could only miss 1 day, each course) while we would be on our western cruise in Jan.. What if the kids get sick? What if he gets sick? What if he got a flat tire on the way to class?What if there is a blizzard and we get 2 feet of snow?What if............So I asked DH, "do you want me to cancel?" DH says"NO way, We'll need a vacation after Xmas" I ask(holding my breath)"Do you want to go on a different cruiseline?" DH--"Nope, only Disney for these kids" Anyway, DH is putting the final classes(and his masters degree) on hold until next year in order to cruise. I thought that he was nuts, but he insists. I married a smart man.......

I knew that I loved DCL when...
we aren't going on our honeymoon until a month after we are married. We are on a tight budget and wound not think of going on a honeymoon anywhere else.We found a great deal throught Allseas and had to take it! See tickers below!

When your 6 yo DD and her new Disboard friend announce that the other cruise ships in port (Grand Cayman) look "boring", that would "couldn't possibly take a cruise on one of THEM"

My kids and I really knew we loved the Disney Magic last week when as the Magic and the other ships were getting ready to leave St. Thomas the Magic blew her horn with its' famous Disney tune and everyone on Royal Caribbean Voyager of the Sea started clapping!! My kids thought that was really great and funny too!

When you visit this Board regularly even though your cruise is 270 days away (hey we started at 390 so this is an accomplishment).

When you book another cruise onboard for1 1/2 yrs away, and alot of the DIS'ers on board do the same for the same cruise. Then you decide that maybe 1 1/2 yrs is to long to go without a DCL cruise so you start looking into booking a quickie (3-4 dayer) in the intermin.

You also read the boards morning and night until you fall asleep at the key board.

I just love these boards and the friends which me have met.

when you can't wait for the evening so you can go on these boards to read all the great stuff. when you get out the cruise vidios from past vacations to see the ship as you filmed it, and of course talking about the upcoming trip non-stop.

Have been counting down (I mean litereally daily) since 178 days! When you jump on your computer right when you get home form work and go between DISboards and cruise critic. When you spend every shopping trip (including christmas) buying stuff for the Cruise. When you look at the www.twopalms.com website every single sat and sun at 5:30 to see if you can catch a glimpse of the ship!!! Must I go On!!!???????

And then spend most of my day with a sick child and toddler (not sick, but supposed to keep me busy, right)...reviewing this board to get some focus to save for a cruise of my very own!!!!

When you think of things in terms of 'before and after' the Disney cruise. "Did we do that before or after we took our last Disney cruise," or 'Is that before or after we do the cruise.'

Or..

When dining in a restuarant and DH scoops a bite off his plate is says, 'try this. It's not as good as the one we get on the Disney cruise but..'

When my son was asked if he wanted to go to Disney World or on a cruise, he told his grandparents, "I just wanna cruise!"
