You know you have it bad when.....

I know I have it bad because I am still reading and posting on this board months after I am back, and with no future trip in sight. *sniff*

You know you have it bad when you plan your trip 60 days in advance and you start packing 30 days in advance  and all you can do when you are in the stores in keep adding to the gotta bring to disney list!

20 days to go!!!

You know you have it bad when you get teary eyed and excited at every WDW commercial that comes on.

You know you have it bad when you watch "Great Hotels" and "Secrets" featuring WDW on the Travel Channel every single time they are on even tho you have seen them a dozen times.

You know you have it bad when you start planning your next trip to WDW before you leave the one you are currently on.

And Finally ......

You know you have it bad when have not been in a while so you open up your WDW maps and smell them!!!

Confession over ... for now.

You sit down to breakfast with Your Mickey Waffles from the Waffle Iron you just had to have. That is, after your Mickey toaster plays the music signaling that your toast is done. Mickey's face on the toast smiles back at you, as you spread some jam on with a Mickey Mouse handled spreader you just couldn't pass up while a Cinderella Castle topped potpourri candle puts a pleasant scent in the air.(covers up the slightly burnt Mickey toast smell.)

Juice is served from a nostalgic MK 100%Pure Magic OJ pitcher into matching glasses. Your choice of Mickey coffee or Mickey's Creamy Belgian White Hot Cocoa from Disney character mugs. No need for the salt and peppershaker, but you have a ceramic Cinderella Castle set within arms reach.

Just as you get set to dig in, you hear the Mickey Mouse March from your Disney Cordless phone and you hear Goofy from your DD's phone in the other room. It’s your aunt calling. She wants to make final arrangements to come visit you at WDW this summer. You pick up some notepapers from the Splash Mountain note holder. Copy down some notes with your generic "WALT DISNEY RESORTS" Pen. Staple them together from your Dumbo stapler. Now where to put it. On the fridge under your DCL magnet or should I tape it to the wall but then where did the Peter Pan tape holder go? It must be in Neverland. Oh well stick with the magnet.
Bye Aunt Janet. Back to breakfast.:)

This was how our breakfast went this morning to the best of my knowledge.

... - when your stuck in traffic, looking at license plates, and all you can do is figure out an abbreviation that matches the plates on the cars all around you...

WDW
BWV
AKL
CSR
etc., etc.,etc.,

I have a two hour commute each way to work, and this is all I do!
:)

Had another experience today....again it just proves that I have it bad for Disney!
I was listening to a show (American Dreams for those who watch) and a woman on there was singing....it was the song that Miss Piggy sings in Muppets 3D before she get pulled by the boat!!!!!! I love that part! :bounce:

You know you have it bad when...

...you can't wait to have a house where you can decorate the baby's room with a Disney theme. (The stuff to do so is even bought and just waiting for a wall.)

...you book your March 2004 trip in April 2003 just so that you have something to look forward to. Then as soon as you hang up with CRO you purchase TourGuide Mike and log onto the DIS for the first time in six weeks (and were only gone that long because you had a baby).

We were in Vienna 2 days ago on our first trip to Europe. It reminded us of Epcot, so we started planning our next Disney trip today.

My DW just read this and she laughed with pixiechick77. On the plane coming home from Vienna (as we just said), the airline's personal music channel was playing a tribute to Ella Fitzgerald. I was spaced out watching a boring movie when she nudged me and turned my tuner on to her station. It was that song, and we both immediately said "Miss Piggy".....

You know you have it bad when...

...the one and only piece of interest to you in a 4-hour meeting on customer satisfaction that you are forced to sit through after working a 12-hour shift is when the presentor talked about DISNEY as the company most dedicated to customer satisfaction. You should have seen my head pop up when Disney was mentioned!!

...what's even worse is the fact that I immediately gained a thrill knowing I could post it on this board...and spent the rest of the meeting smiling about my obsession. :p

I'm hopeless.

Does this count??

I wrote my whole 12,000 word, college dissertation on how WDW continues to survive in the theme parks market, despite increasing competition (from Universal, etc).

This wasn't the actual title, but it was all about the strategies Disney used to maintain it's competive stance in the market!

.........talked about DISNEY as the company most dedicated to customer satisfaction.
And yes, this played a majpr part in it!

I think i had (and still have) it real bad!!:) :) :)

You know you have it bad when there is more than ONE countdown chain in your kitchen! One had over a hundred links while the other had 5!

You know you have it bad when you are trying to plan the trip in July to be OH SO SPECIAL so your DH won't kill you when you mention you are planning another for the next Christmas!

Oh, yes! to the Lisence plates! I see AKL all over! I want a personalized one with AKL-LUVR on it, but my DH only laughs at me. :(

You know you have it bad when you can pick out a Mickey Antenna Topper from a mile away and worse yet, feel a connection to a complete stranger!

And finally, you know you have it bad when you can make all the reservations (plane, hotel, transfer, kennel) in 20 minutes when you DH says, "COME ON DOWN"! AND be packed, three kids, within a day (since all you have to do is empty the DISNEY DRAWER into the suitcase)!

Happy, Happy day!

Karen

You guys are a hoot!

I think I have it bad also (not as bad as some) and I seem to be passing it on to my DD. She pulled out all of our old Maps of the Parks (we save everything from disney trips) and starts to inform me that she is planning for us this year. Complaining that she never does anything different. We do tend to do my favorites over and over each yr. So DD is planning our events this yr . From what parks on which days to what rides and attractions we go on. I must say I am giving her some hints from tips I have learned over the years. It should be an interesting trip:D
I have it bad enough to name my DD after a Character... Kristina Robyn is her name:p

I'm with you eeyore0062! We are probably heading down to Orlando next spring. We were all set for March 24th-had the moving truck held and an apartment in Celebration while we looked for a house-but with the war and the ecconomy we decided to wait 1 more year and save some more $$. Of course my old travel agency hired me back so now I get to book trips all day and now I am not sure if I want to leave this great job with awsome travel benefits!

MY ENTIRE FAMILY THINKS I NEED TO GET A LIFE....... I AM MORE EXCITED THAN MY 2 CHILDREN (5 &9), I SAY...."WHATEVER!", I WILL BE IN "FANTASY LAND" FOR 7 LONG DAYS AND I THINK THE ANTICIPATION AND GETTING READY TO GO ARE ALL PART OF THE MAGIC!!!!!!!!!!!!

I WILL PROBABLY NEED THERAPY WHEN I RETURN HOME :jester:

NICE TO KNOW ALL YOU DIS'ers ARE AS CRAZY ABOUT DISNEY AS I AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

34 MORE LONG DAYS TILL TAKE OFF!!!!!!!!

My eyes light up when trying to decide on which tickets to buy, and hubby says "just buy a longer pass, we can use the extra days next time!" :Pinkbounc

Here's the biggest:
I'm more excited about my next Disney trip than I am about buying my new house. I'll live in my house all year, but I'll never spend enough time in WDW. Yeah, I've got it baaaad!

Ditto to what everyone else has said. ;) Our whole house is Disney, all we ever talk about is Disney, it's a total and complete obsession. :smooth:

When you are watching home-makeover shows on TV during your recovery, and instead of the patio they are re-doing, all you can see is the British-flag Mickey pin on the designer's beret . . .

LOL DH and I BOTH commented on that! He wants me to pick up and handful of those pins when I am there in October because he forgot to get them on our New Years Trip.
