Mmmmmmm my house smells FABOO!! I'm baking white chocolate/peanut butter chip/pecan cookies, blueberry muffins, cheese muffins and oatmeal cake. I'm taking them this afternoon to my doctor and her staff. They've been so good to me. You know you all want some :teeth:

I wanna be your doctor....ummmm never mind. What is she "helping" you out with? I'm not much for the kind of docs that deal with blood, gore, or ehem...gynos

You are just plain mean sometimes...

Don't you just love the staff at your facility? Mine is like family. (My mom is still a patient) Have a good visit!

Ok, that's just not fair. I'm sitting here in a conference room babysitting a bunch of attorney's and I come across this thread. Now I'm hungry. Thanks a lot!!! :teeth:

You tease! ;)

If you could send just one of those white chocolate/peanut butter/pecan cookies my way that would be great.

May I please have some to go with my coffee??? :surfweb:

They all sound like they'll be delicious! :cloud9:

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...I don't know. It all sounds suspiciously nutritious. Where's the candy and donuts?

I guess I'll let it go since it IS going to a doctor's office. :)

I have stage III peritoneal (ovarian) cancer. I see her once a week and usually more. Her ARNP also makes home visits once a week. Just whatever I need they find a way to get it. Couldn't ask for a more caring staff. I thought I'd try to give a little something back.

And no, there's not a nutritious molecule in the bunch. It's all white flour, white sugar and processed crud. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm

Wow that really is sweet and I'm so sorry to hear about your cancer. I've heard about that kind and that it is very scary. I'm so glad to hear that she is helping you. Are the treatments working?

That really does sound yummy...I think I need to look for the soft batch cookies in my pantry now.

:) My first treatment was on Valentine's Day, and a former patient brought in aobut 200 roses and was giving themout in the waiting room to the patients and the staff. Little things are really important.

Oh my! Sorry about your cancer. That is very sweet of you to make all those goodies for the office. I'm sure they will appreciate it.

Good luck with your treatments, Shugardrawers and In a Hurry.
I hope all goes well.

Well, chemo and radiation weren't successful and it's inoperable. The next step was hospice but I decided to volunteer for testing of a new drug. All I can really tell you at the moment is that while I'm still very seriously ill, there might be reason to conga     by fall. Make of that what you will.

In a hurry, what kind of cancer do you have?

I am a 5 year survivor of colon cancer. Living with about 1/3 of my colon, did chemo, and radiation, but all is looking good.

My mom is on her 4th round of chemo for the same. She is maintaining. :thumbsup2 They are talking experimental, if we don't make any headway with this. I think about you often, and have told her all about you and your being involved with testing! You inspire us. :)

I'll be sending prayers and pixie dust that the new drug works :wizard:
I don't know a lot about ovarian cancer exept that I had a friend in college who was only 23 when she was diagnosed, her mother had it too. I thought it was so scary that someone could have something so serious that young.
