Probably to appease the people trying to figure out how Ryan Seacrest ever got on TV. Although American Bandstand was originally a Monday thru Friday 3 pm show before moving to Saturday AFTERNOONS. (Kids!)

Honestly, a number of the bowls are pretty out there when it comes to sponsorship names. When I saw the Duke's Mayo Bowl, I thought we needed to see Helmann's get on the bandwagon.

I was so excited when I'd heard my school might be one of the ones to go to the Pop Tart Bowl. I would have gone out of my way to find merch if they went to that one. Sadly, we were placed in a different bowl with a boring sponsor. At least we won.
