that our orlando hol last oct, was the one and only ever.... well a friend has just got back from disney, with her dgtr and ptr. it was very cheap. i think i have persuaded long suffering husband that next feb is a goer, if we can get it v. v. cheap. any suggestions of cheap web sites etc, to start the great search. the only thing is i dont think we can share a room with the kids (bless them) again. any suggestions, is this the cheapest time of the year to go.

Yeah yeah yeah! LOL ! We all started out saying that our first trip was a "once in a lifetime" ...... and look at us! Back and forth like yoyos !

Firstly, congrats on persuading the husband! Stick with us and we can help with any arm-twisting tips you want! (I've got a few Florida trips this way !)

Check out Sue's thread as she seems to have come up against some iffy weather, which at that time of year is on the cards. However I've seen reports from previous years where they said the weather was lovely, but not hot.

I think you may need to go down the villa/suite route for two rooms and perhaps book a fly-drive?

Our 1st and supposedly only trip was in 1999, I won £4096 on the lottery and blew the lot on what was to be a holiday of a lifetime.

We've been back every year since and save like mad to go - addicted for sure! - DH stopped smoking in 2000 and he saves all his 'smoking' money towards the holiday.

I'd suggest a villa - they are a great option - so much space, own pool etc etc - we wouldn't go to a hotel now, we have 3 children.

We stayed in a 2 bed apartment last year in Windsor Palm which we booked thru Travel City. They are spacious, clean, have a communal pool and a lot closer to Disney than the villas we stayed in.
After we booked I started looking on the websites and found we would have got the apartment a lot cheaper direct but then again we had no complaints about Travel City either.

with 3 kids villa is the only route for us .

We stayed at Windsor Palms last August & it was great. There's nothing like having your own private pool!!!!

We fiound the cheapest direct flights (for us) was Travel city Direct. We booked the villa ourselves from a local company so we could choose the location instead of it being allocated on arrival.
