Star Tours, IMO, definitely needs an upgrade.
When disneyLOVE, wazowskiLOVER, shyboy, and I went in October, we realized that after we got off the ride, we enjoyed waiting in line more than the actual ride itself!! There's so many things to see in the line while waiting (not to mention that all those props in there are from the ACTUAL movies
), and then you sit down, strap up, and it's kind of... Bland :/.
I hate to say it, because I love Star Wars, and the ride is definitely a classic, but compared to the technology in some of the newer rides (TSMM, for example), there isn't much excitement. Not anymore, at least.
... The least they can do is change that lady's hairstyle in the video that does the briefing before the boarding. We're in the 21st century and I have YET to see anyone with a hairball the size of hers on the side of their head
What do you guys think? Do you think Star Tours needs any improvements to keep things exciting, or is it fine just the way it is in all its nostalgic glory? Any comments/suggestions/concerns?
