So, I know I said I was finished with this trip report but I felt like I should fill you in on my completed mini smashbook!! Before we start, I wanted to let you guys know that this is definitely not one of my best works (I did it in about 3 hours

) Also, next trip I will definitely be getting a full sized smashbook! (I needed more space!!)
Now, if your aren't familiar with smash books let me introduce you!
I discovered these in 2012. They are basically journals with 2 sizes mini (5x8) and regular (8x10) and they come with pre-printed pages with cute little pictures and funny sayings and come in about 10 styles! (Only regular sized have styles) You can use it like a scrapbook and be very prim and proper or you can make it like a journal or really whatever you want! My only rule is don't be afraid to smash stuff in! Every one of my smashbook's has been getting gradually fatter! Lol! So, now to my smashbook for my February 2014 Disney trip!
Here's what it looked like when I bought it! Pretty plain right? I decided it needed some sprucing up!
I grabbed some modge podge, scrapbooking paper and sharpies and did this:
So, when it was time for my trip I packed this up (I had space in the back for cast member signatures) and brought it with me!
Then when my trip was over (sad, I know)
It was time to SMASH!
And here is what it looked like when I was finished! Sorry scrapbookers! I know your heart just broke a little seeing all this stuff poking out! Never fear you will fall in love with it! I promise!
When I came to FL back in June, I had picked up this huge book that had advertisements from central Florida and had all kinds of Disney advertisements! I used one of those for this page!
My ME tag, airline ticket and pictures from flying there! I also added a border at the bottom which came out of that advertisement book too!
All about our resort ASMo!! I print my pictures out in 4x6 collages from walmart.com (Usually 2 pictures per collage but I added more because the pages are smaller in mini smashes) and then I just cut them out with a straight cutter!
I made this page before I left.. I don't really recommenced that, just because you can't know whats going to happen on your trip of who your'e going to meet so it's kinda hard when you get home to smash.
I also had characters sign index cards so they would fit in here. It worked pretty well for me except some got accidentally stuffed in the bottom of my backpack and of mangled...
Again, I added the lyrics from wishes around the edges of this page before I went just KNOWING I would see it (I didn't WOMP!

) So I have IllumiNations pictures with wishes lyrics LOL
I had an extra page in my book so, I just added this post card I got a couple months ago when I sent fan mail to Belle and the Beast (I'm 5 it's fine

)
And That is a mickey head tag I had hanging on my backpack the whole trip just in case someone from my Facebook group was there and they could recognize me!
I'm a big fan of having things that flip and pull out of my smashbook (Seriously guys I'm a child. I don't even know

)
so I have the parks map taped so it can flip on either page.
This is probably my favorite page of the book the saying is so cute! I wish i had eaten more cupcakes so it would match the theme of the page better but oh well!
This is the second part to my Hollywood Studios day! This page is very plain but I was fresh out of ideas on how to spruce it up!
On the left is a letter my best friend sent to me a week or so before my trip! (She also sent me stickers to decorate my smash!) and On the right is my top 10 favorite things I ate on my trip (see number 10? I ran out of favorite foods

)
My Downtown Disney page! Again, plain but, oh well!
My princess page!! after I printed out all the pictures I realized I left out Ariel!!
All my princesses (and princes) autographs
