How do you figure this out?
Also, I have kids little tricycles and that sort of bulky stuff, I would like to list them but I am a little scared that the shipping error may eat off any money that I make.
Thanks for any tips you have.
You might want to revise your auction. $10 seems way too low for me. I ship all big items by UPS and you can go to www.ups.com and get a quote. Put in your exact weight and box measurements. It's very important to know your box measurements. Get a big box if you don't have one so you can get the quote. UPS, the post office, fed ex... etc. will go by dimensional weight when something is large. A lot of oversize items I ship cost me around $22 at a min. with UPS and would be much much more at the post office. If you can take apart the highchair a little and go for a smaller box that would be better. The larger the box the more expensive. A lot of people like FED EX so check their rates. I just use UPS because it's right down the street and easy for me. Anyhow, I'd definately revise my auction to at least read exact shipping by a ground shipper or a flat fee much higher. I think $10 would be way off and you'd be eating a lot of the shipping price. Usually at a minimum for a huge item for me is $18 or so and it's usually in the low to mid $20's. Hope this helps
