You have got to see this picture!

Oh man! Are you kidding me?? I've had a moose right here on my property a number of years ago and was so startled to see it, I forgot to take a picture!! :headache:

Nice shot!! :thumbsup2

Great picture of a beautiful animal. Thanks for sharing!

Wow! I think I'd freak if I saw something that big around my house!! Here we just get coyote and deer...
In Northern Ca we'd get mountain lions and the occassional bear...

I just want to know if I was smoking dope when I replied to this thread last year. I don't remember this thread and I don't even know what I'm talking about in my post.

Game camera? Whaaat?

Well, I learned something new today. I thought moose were only in the Rocky Mountain/Northwest states.

There are moose in MA & CT also.
They can total you car if you hit one. :scared:

OP, nice picture. And I knew what a game camera was. That's actually a good picture. Most are at night, grainy or blurry.

Wait. This thread is a year old? I normally notice stuff like that right away. Must be time for bed.

A young moose was hit and killed about a mile from my parents house in Raynham MA ( about 40 min south of Boston) a few years ago

the DEC estimates the moose population to be around 500 and growing. Just recently a moose had to be tranquilized and moved from the Saratoga racetrack (apparently she was hoping to train for the Travers in August :) ). They are all over the northwoods in Maine ...

One Sunday about 5 years ago a moose interrupted Sunday Services at my church in Dover, NH. We had to go to the window to watch this great animal stroll by. The interesting thing is that the pastor was doing a sermon on the golden calf; he resumed his sermon talking about the golden moose.

Wow, that's an old thread!

And no, I don't live up there. But we have a camp there and are up there about once a month.

The funny part - my FIL had the camera out a few weeks ago. He got a great picture of a bobcat this time. i love that camera!!!
