Not gonna lie, I've gotten teary-eyed a few times during "We Go On." God, I'm such a sap. I bet the holiday version would get me too.

I love Illuminations! And, yes, it's extra special during the holidays!

IllumiNations is the BEST. AHH. I love it so much! The holiday ending just killed me (in a good way of course haha).

I know... I felt like yall deserved some type of warning.

Of all the geodesic spheres I've seen, Spaceship Earth is definitely the best!

Ugh, I get a little annoyed with people who sit on the ground and don't expect to be blocked! It's like people at the movie theater who get all mad when I sit in front of them because then they have to take their feet off the back of the seat. Grr!

Thank goodness you avoided the chanting tour groups!!

Oh, definitely! I mean, usually it's like if you've seen one geodesic sphere, you've seen them all, but Spaceship Earth is just in a whole different LEAGUE.

Hahah oh my gosh. Totally! I mean even though movie theater seats were MADE as footrests. Hahha but seriously this girl looked at me like "Yeah, don't even think about standing in front of me." I mean... if you're worried I'm gonna block you, just stand up! It's a 10 minute show.

I dodged a bullet there! Goodness. I don't think I would have been able to handle it. I've been meaning to learn Portuguese for years, but now I actually have a reason to learn at least a few phrases, including, "Please stop, yall are a little annoying."

Yeah, unfortunately someone did get sick... I don't want to write about it but I can't really avoid it either!

You know, I remember watching Illuminations but I can't remember any holiday tag. I swear I fell asleep because everyone mentions it and I was THERE IN DECEMBER but... nope, nothing. Clearly I need short park hours because I am an old lady who can't stay awake past 10.

I do remember the Spaceship Earth greetings!! I thought that was the best thing ever. I love that geodesic sphere to pieces. Even when it had the hat it was still the coolest park icon.

Fun story: my high school always (maybe used to now) did Disney for the senior class trip and I'm sure we (as a group) were incredibly obnoxious (they would tape us in our rooms!!), so now I feel like I can never talk about other tour groups?? It's definitely a 'we're in Disney, there's no rules, no one's looking at us individually' kind of attitude that works through the group. Oops. It is really fun to be in a tour group, though. Different kind of trip and I don't think I'd do it again, but it was nice to do it once!

Wasn't it awesome? I loved it. My camera obviously didn't though... wahhh. Hahha well I never got to see the hand/hat in all its glory so I can't speak for it... but I'm sure it was lovely. Hahah Spaceship Earth for the win! Although I do love the Tree of Life... and the Castle... and the sorcerer hat (yes I admit it).

It's certainly amazing! I wonder if there's someone out there who DOESN'T love it, or at least thinks it's kinda cool? (Maybe the people that think it's a golf ball don't think it's that awesome... hahaha. )

Because we were standing in Canada and my boyfriend was super worried about me leaving my camera bag on one of the posts (and we were having a very in-depth conversation about Duffy right before it started...?). So clearly the tag was broken and didn't go off that night because there's NO other explanation for not remembering it.

I'm sure if we knew Portuguese, there would've been some! There was definitely group singing, etc., etc.. So it's now just one of those things that I'm kind of meh about. Would it be nice to not have it? Yes. Does it really bother me terribly? Not really. My boyfriend is a little less forgiving, though.

Haha, thanks! Looking back on it, it actually seemed like we were at each park (besides Epcot since it was closing) for a really good amount of time, so it was pretty awesome!

You know, now that I think of it, I think the same thing happened to us when we saw Fantasmic in Dec. 2010! Like there was this BIG group of them and there were these guys (that we assumed to be big soccer players??) and they were walking in like they were rock stars and the whole big group just kept CHEERING for them. Goodness! Thankfully they were quiet for the actual show haha. Were the groups at least quiet during the show when yall experienced that? I hope so!

Oh I know... poor Kadence. Unfortunately we had to deal with that on our trip too. I wish sickness would just go away on Disney trips!

Thank you! Yeah, poor Amanda started getting a stomach ache while we were in Epcot but she was a trooper! (Us Disney freaks will do anything to see some fireworks! )

Yeah, but that's okay because it's amazing! I was glad we got to see it up close this time, instead of from the Beach Club parking lot/bus to DTD!

I totally agree! It was a perfect way to end our whirlwind day! I only wished we could have stayed at Epcot a little longer!

I like taking one last lap around World Showcase after it's over to let the crowd die down and let the bus lines get shorter.

Hey yall! Who's ready for another terrible video update? Well, I know I am.

This is video from IllumiNations. The main part of the video is from the special holiday ending. Now, I'm posting 2 links. My camera doesn't like to pick up the music, just the BANG BANG BANG of the fireworks. However, the music is beautiful! SO, if you're actually going to watch the video, I would suggest muting MY video and listening to the music on the other one. It won't exactly match up, (I stopped filming during the dialogue...woops) but it'll be close enough to give you an idea. The most important part is the ending, anyway!
