Oh, hello everyone! Nice to see you all today. (Not that I can see you, or anything... because that would be creepy and unsettling.)

I just wanted to let everyone know that today, July 20, is









SINGLE DIGIT DAY.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right.

What?

I don't even know.

Was it not just last week when I said I was in double digits???? What the mess?

NOT THAT I'M COMPLAINING.



It's starting to feel real now. All of these things that I've been talking about doing since February are actually going to happen... and it's so soon that I can actually start to picture it. It's so real but so unreal. Make sense??? It's okay, if not. HAHA.

So since today is SINGLE DIGIT DAY, that means that yesterday was my 10-day mark... AKA, the first day you can do online check-in. Well, I did it. I didn't do it to get through a quicker line, or whatever. I just wanted to put in a room request! I wanted to request a high floor so that we could have awesome views! I've seen pictures of some of these Bay Lake views, and in some you can actually see as far as Epcot, DHS, and even Animal Kingdom! WHAT. I wouldn't complain about that view.

However, when I finished, I was told that they couldn't 'process my request.' Uhhh... okay. Hahah, that's only the reason I did online check-in in the first place. But oh well. I will literally be happy with anything, so if the requests don't work out, that's OKAY. It was worth a try though!

Also, a bit of exciting(ish) news... the other day, I got a camcorder! Yay! I'm really excited about it. We used to take really awesome family videos when we were younger, but lately haven't been doing it. I figured, what better time to start again than when we are at DISNEY WORLD? NO better time, that's when. I'm really excited about it! I've been testing it out over the past couple of days, and I think it'll be awesome! Of course, I will be sharing the videos on the trip report as well, if ANYONE is interested!

OH, and question: are any of you going to be in Disney the same time I am? My dates are July 29-August 3. If you ARE going to be there, and you just happen to see me, PLEASE, do not hesitate to say hello! I would actually really love it, and would be glad to meet any one of you!

One last thing... the ADR game is still alive and kicking. AKA, I still don't have a winner. There is still a four-way tie! The good news (as far as the game goes) is that there HAS BEEN A CHANGE on the ADR front. So, when I get to the 5-day mark, I'll open the game back up to those of you who are currently tied (you know who you are!) and whoever guesses correctly first, is the official winner. HOORAY.

So there you have it! Single digits! I'm getting way too excited!

So, if you want to put requests in just give them a call!!! I can't wait to see pics of the BLT rooms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hahah, well, in a word... NOPE! Hahah, I haven't quite started yet! In fact, the only things I've gathered together so far are the various forms of Mickey/Minnie ears/headbands. My priorities are clearly VERY high. I plan to start getting everything together this weekend though, since the next week will be crazy! WOOHOO!

OH MY LORD that lobby kills me. It is breathtaking. Honestly, after I replied to you about AKL last night I just started thinking about how perfect that whole place is, and I think I have come to the conclusion that it is officially my number one dream resort. I don't know how it happened, but it just creeped up past the Beach Club. (ONLY A LITTLE BIT THOUGH BECAUSE I'M STILL OBSESSED BEYOND BELIEF WITH THE BEACH CLUB. DON'T WORRY.)

I mean, it can be a little bit stressful at times, because there is just so much to consider. But being that I am organized more than anyone really should be (ahem... OCD) it's really fun for me. I'm sure one day you'll be the planner for your family too! I think it's kinda in our blood... DISER BLOOD. Forgive me.

Sorry for taking so long to respond! Just took a Dis break! And just went to an AMAZING summer camp. (Lake Forest Ranch) but anyways...

Hahaha AKL is an absolutely beautiful resort! And Beach Club is quite nice too!

Hahaha! I think I am a little OCD but it doesn't really show too much.. I always want to be on a schedule of when and where I need to be! And probably! My mom has done a pretty good job of showing me the ropes of planning some Disney trips! We definitely have some Dis blood!

And.. I'm writing this on my phone on the way back from camp because I couldn't stay away from Dis that long! That's why there's no smilies!

Haha! I really really really LOVE the Polynesian though! I walk in to go eat at Ohana's and ohh! The smell of all the tropical flowers is awesome! That's probably a close second to AKL.

Yeah, I hear a lot of TRs where they WAYY over-plan and they end up hating the trip! So that makes me happy that my mom doesn't go overboard with Dis planning!

It's always an awesome feeling knowing your trip is only so far away especially since single digit goes right into week dance then day dance then day prior dance... oh it is a beautiful thing isn't it? Sorry to hear online check-in was a bust, but you really should've given it a second try especially when it says "couldn't process" that usually translates "try again so you may get your room of choice and have an even MAGICALER time at Disney" You know just translating... Awesome to hear you got a camcorder, I almost got one on my birthday so I could film all my future vacations, but I faltered of course You should really check out some video-editing software to make a nice Disney video set to music and some cool effects bouncing between photos and videos. Because I'm sure you know how epic that looks!

I am sorry to let you know Timmy will not be in Disney World again until the end of the century, so I will not be there the week of July 29th through August 3rd, but someday our imminent DISMeet will happen (which I may OR may not discuss in my PTR... *spoiler alert*) Until that day though, I'll be excited alongside you for this trip and follow eagerly on Twitter.

Ugh, I don't get those online room request things, they're basically pointless! You can call and put in a room request if you want, I always do, we usually have pretty good luck with it!

OMG when we ate at the Cali Grill, we could see Illuminations across Bay Lake, it was amazing, so I'm sure if you get a room high enough, you will definitely see Epcot! Call and make a room request right now!!!

Can't wait to see how you're going to break this 4 way tie! Although I'll probably miss it if you post it while I'm in work!
