"You Guys Are Cast Members... Right?" - A December 2011 TR

I'm with you. Tomorrowland at night is awesome.

Laugh Floor is one of my favorites. I'm glad that you had a good time there, and that you got to help out some first timers.

:goodvibes

I love Tomorrowland at night! It does make it feel more futuristic!

Must've been your lucky night because you were timing everything just right! :thumbsup2

I hate that Stitch ride! The first (and only) time I rode was back in Dec 2006. I don't know who was more scared - me or the little 4 year old boy sitting next to me with his dad. Well, since he actually let out a scream while I stifled mine, I'll say he was a tad bit more scared that I.

We have yet to go to the Laugh Floor. I don't know why. :confused3 Monsters Inc is one of my favorite movies. It's on our must do list for this year!

I love the Carousel of Progress! Such an oldie but a goody!

"It's a great big beautiful tomorrow....."

Great - now I'll have that stuck in my head as I try to go to sleep. :headache:

I think a small part of why I love riding the same ride a million times is hearing how strangers take it. For instance, my new favorite thing to do when I'm bored in AK is go to ITTBAB and watch the audience react to it. :rotfl2:

It's been years and years since I've done Stitch's Great Escape, but I would go on it again in a second if I knew I'd get to experience that kind of reaction. It makes me laugh just thinking about how all those 20 something year old guys were screaming. :rotfl:

Hey Marissa! I'm finally back on the Dis! I have been bombarded with school work and since I only have two regents left, and there next week, I can finally relax!

SO. I have stayed at the Contemporary like four times already so I know all about, so feel free to ask me/tweet me any questions you have! I'll be back from DISNEYLAND(AHHH do you see my ticker! eep!) before you leave so I'll be able to answer any last minute questions!

The TTA (I refuse to call it Peoplemover b/c that's what they called it when I was little and I'm weird) is just the best, it's so relaxing. I can't believe they changed the narrator/narration! Paging Mr. Morrow, Mr. Tom Morrow. I always pretend I'm surfing when we go up/down the ramp. Like I said I'm strange. :upsidedow lol

The castle during Christmas time is so beautiful! :goodvibes

Nice updates!! :thumbsup2

Tomorrowland is best visited at night, I think. The lights just really add to the atmosphere.

I like Stitch, the character, but I think he deserves a better attraction. We don't care for Great Escape at all. Some do, though, so it's nice that there are all kinds of attractions for all kinds of people.

Carousel of Progress we do like, and it's a good place for me to take one or both girls while Jill and John go ride a thrill ride. Of course, Jill will have to join me in sitting out on this trip, so she may see CoP for the first time in a long while.

Laugh Floor - I enjoy, except I don't want to be on camera!

:lmao:

What great updates!!!! How cool that Ryan got to the final show! :cool1: That was a good choice staying, though! I'm glad you got to experience a TON of laughter!!

I LOVE THE PEOPLEMOVER!!! So much fun and relaxing!

How sad about the young boy and Buzz! :worried: I probably would have cried if I saw that! Haha, I'm a sap!

OMG I need to see the lit castle in person! That is just beautiful! I can't even imagine what it looks like in person rather than in photos!

I'm so glad you laughed so much this night! I love laughing! :rotfl: It's my favorite! I've never done Stitch's Great Escape, and probably won't unless we happen upon it with no line!

I love the Laugh Floor too!! OMG too funny! :rotfl2:

Tomorrowland is so cool at night! It's so lit up and very Disney-esque! I CANNOT wait for this last week to go by!!!!!!!! :hyper:

It's a lot of fun. Thanks! Yeah, I was glad to help. :)

Definitely!

I'd say it was definitely my lucky night! I needed it after that night before hahah.

Awww! That's sad. I don't know, it's just never really scared me. I feel like the old Alien Encounter version would have definitely freaked me out though!

Oh, yeah, you'd definitely love it! I will say though, don't expect to see Sulley. (I don't understand why he's not a part of it, but I just thought I'd let you know in advance haha.) I'm glad yall are making it a must do this trip!

Hahaha I'm sorry! I hope it wasn't stuck in your head for TOO long.

YEAH. I think that might be exactly it hahah. That's too funny.

Oh my gosh, those guys were the best part of the whole thing. They were hilarious!

Hey girl, glad to see you back on here! Okay I have been wondering this because I've seen you mention it on twitter, but what is a regent?? We don't have those here haha, or else we call them something else!

Have you really?? That's awesome! I'm SO excited! Thanks girl! That's so good to know-I have a feeling I will DEFINITELY be asking you some questions. Thanks!! (And yes, I saw your ticker!!! So awesome!)

Hahah I get it. I wish I'd heard the old narration! I always like the classic stuff. Hahah you're too funny! I think I'll try the surfing method next time. :thumbsup2

IT REALLY IS!! Thanks girl! :goodvibes

I completely agree. :thumbsup2

Oh, I DEFINITELY agree with that! As far as Stitch's Great Escape goes, I can take it or leave it. I don't DISLIKE it, but it is by no means one of my favorites. I definitely agree that he could use a better attraction!

Hahah well I hope she's ready to hear that song again! It'll be a nice way for her to cool down and relax, for sure! :goodvibes

OH I KNOW! I always get nervous that they'll put me on the screen too! Have you ever been on it before??

:lmao:

Thank you!!

I love the PeopleMover! It's awesome.

Oh I KNOW. To be honest, at the time I didn't even register WHY he was crying. I felt bad for him (I just don't like seeing anyone cry) but it didn't register for a while. At the time I just was annoyed that I couldn't meet Buzz ahaah. But then I realized why he was crying and it made me so sad! And honestly, when I was writing about it, it almost made me cry too! So listen, I typed ALL THAT to say, I'm a sap as well hahah. We can be saps together.

Oh you REALLY REALLY REALLY DO. It's an absolute must for anyone who loves Disney AND Christmas.

Thanks girl! I was glad I got to laugh too, I honestly needed it! I was too sad the night before. :( I've never seen Stitch with a line! Hahah I've always walked right on... which is why I always GO on hahah.

AHH I KNOW! AND NOW YOU ONLY HAVE SIX MORE DAYS!!!! (Well, only five FULL days!)

Definitely!
Oh, yeah, you'd definitely love it! I will say though, don't expect to see Sulley. (I don't understand why he's not a part of it, but I just thought I'd let you know in advance haha.) I'm glad yall are making it a must do this trip!

Thanks for the heads up! I'd hate to get there, not see Sulley & then have to yell at a CM about it. Because you know...everything is their fault. :lmao::rotfl2::lmao:

Hahah you're welcome. I personally was a little confused the first time I saw the show because I always thought of Sulley as the head honcho of the monster world... but then again, that was when it was the Scare Capital... haha! Clearly I'm thinking too much into this... but anyways, yeah!

You're right. Those CMs. Can't do anything right! Seriously though... why do people take all their anger out on the poor helpless CMs??? :confused3

I don't understand some people. Now, I'm not saying every CM is wonderful & happy. I've had my share of unhappy CM's. But, they're just human! I think some people everything at Disney is supposed to be 100% perfect. And it just doesn't happen that way. You have to roll with the punches.....even at Disney.

HELLO BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE.

How's everybody doing on this lovely Friday? (It's lovely here, at least!)

I hope you're all still with me and reading along! I don't even think you know how much I genuinely appreciate all your lovely comments. They seriously make me so happy. Yall are all precious.

Anyways, I thought I'd put up a little PTR update today. I only have 3 or 4 more real updates left on the TR, so I'm basically looking for a way to 'fill' the time before my next trip!

After I'm completely finished with the TR (as in wrap-up and all) I thought I'd put up a few 'highlight' pictures from my other two trips! I thought it might be fun to see some of them.

44 more days... can you do it? :flower3: (Better question: Can I do it?)

So listen, you may have noticed that I'm a fan of guessing games. So I thought, why not MAKE ONE OF MY OWN?

I'M TALKING ABOUT A DISNEY RESTAURANT GUESSING GAME, YALL.

Believe me, I know you're not sitting around all day long just wondering where I'm eating when I go to Disney World. I know none of you care THAT much. :lmao: This is just for fun!

We're doing the Disney Dining Plan on this trip, and as I'm sure you know, the amount meals/snacks you get is based on the number of nights you're there.

For this trip, we're staying five nights. (This is the same amount of nights as our last family trip. My dad can only get one week off at a time, and he needs a day after the vacation to rest before he goes back to work.) That means we get five table service credits each.

However, on our arrival day, our plane lands at 10 AM, and on our departure day, our flight takes off at 9 PM. That basically gives us SIX full days, whereas on our last trip we arrived in the evening and departed in the afternoon. Anyways, because we have the extra time this year, we made ANOTHER ADR that we will pay out of pocket for.

SO. We have SIX ADRs made. I've been changing them around/flip flopping them/basically playing what I call 'the ADR shuffle' like nobody's business, but I'm finally and officially DONE.

So with that, I present to you:

GUESS THAT ADR!!!!

6 ADRs.
2 of them are at Disney Resorts.
2 of them are at the Magic Kingdom.
2 of them are at Epcot.
3 of them are character meals. (SERIOUSLY. NO SHAME!!!!)
5 of them are NEW to us. (And yes, I do realize that you don't know where we ate on our last trip. It makes it more fun... for me. :yay:)
1 of them is a repeat.
1 of them is a breakfast.
2 of them are lunches.
3 of them are dinners.

ARE YA DIZZY YET???

So... if you are up for the challenge, go ahead and make some guesses! I honestly don't think very many of you will, and that's totally okay. It's really just for fun!

If enough people guess certain places that are correct, I'll definitely tell you. If not, then I guess it's still a mystery. ;)

Anyways, now that you have fully realized what a dork I am, I'll stop there. Good luck guessing, I'm rooting for you! :cheer2:

Have a wonderful weekend and as always, thank you for reading!!!

Continued in Next PTR Update

I'm just gonna throw some random ones out here. Ohana, Kona, Via Napoli, Crystal Palace.... okay I don't know. :rotfl:

YAYAYAY your trip is so soon!!! The BLT updates will be up soon too! WOOHOO! I think we only have a few more to get through. Maybe 2 or 3.

Whew! I am all caught up!!

I seriously can NOT get enough of Disney Christmas pictures. They are PERFECT! Too bad you did not get to see the AIE show but I'm glad you didn't waste your time going to HS to try and see it!

Your mickey bar looks so yummy! I want one NOW!!!

The castle lighting pictures seriously bring tears to my eyes. I need to go to Disney during Christmas. Its just SO HARD being a teacher and only having a week and a half of days off to make it down there during the MOST EXPENSIVE time. :confused3 I will make it during Christmas some day! Ok, cry fest over!

I rode the PeopleMover for the 1st time! LOVED IT! Such a relaxing break, right?!?!

Oh and here are my ADR guesses!!!

1)Akershus- Epcot/Character Meal
2)Chef Mickeys- Resort/Character meal
3)Crystal Palace- MK/Character meal

Here are my guesses for your ADR's:

1) 'Ohana
2) 1900 Park Faire
3) Le Cellier
4) Auskerhaus
5) Crystal Palace
6) CRT

I don't think that's right, but I tried! lol
