You DIS'ers are the best!

I just had to write to tell you that the people on this board are the best. Have been reading since Feb, went on the Wonder in May. Now we are trying a different cruise line, and I have spent about a week on some other boards. Without slamming anyone, all I can say is Thank You for keeping this board positive, upbeat, kind, and informative. I was in for a shocker when I realized that some people could be so judgemental and just plain mean on other boards. I miss you!! -Sue

We're glad you enjoyed your Wonder cruise, Sue. Maybe you'll come back to us after you've gone on your next cruise. But either way, have a great time on that trip as well.

Thanks also for the kind words. The courtesy here is <i>one</i> of the reasons I've stayed. I've also been on other message boards and I just don't like the way some people treat each other.

I continue to be impressed at how well they find the right balance between allowing the free expression of opinions, taking corrective action when necessary, doing so without being restrictive.

We have our hot-button issues here (I won't list them... most of us know what they are). When we start talking about these hot-button issues, we also can let our emotions sometimes get in the way of courtesy, but between the common courtesy of the folks here and the delicate balancing act of our moderators, this board continues to be a great place.

Well thank you, Sue and Dave, we do try to keep an upbeat, fun and informative board going here. We couldn't do it without all the GREAT posters who bring us so much information and are so helpful to each other. You guys are the best!

Sue...I agree that this board is one of the most friendly and helpful boards I have ever used!

My most common complaint on any board is not the posters, but how the moderators handle them.

Dave, you are right on the money. Our moderators are a classy bunch! They always seem to know when and how to guide/end a discussion without causing angst.

And Dave's comments apply to all the DIS boards, not just the cruise boards (although I must admit the cruise board regulars are a hoot)! The disney community found here has no other equivalent!

Sue, be sure to come back and let us know how your other cruise compares! We too are considering another cruise line, simply because we want to see Alaska when the kids are teens. But for now, we are headed back to the Magic in 2003. Some other line to Alaska in 2005 or so...or maybe we will do a cruise/RV combination and spend some time in the great outdoors up north!
