My boys, who love Kylo Ren in the movie, were terrified of him a the meet and greet. I had one of them in my arms, and looked Kylo straight in the face and told my son, "Nothing to worry about. He's just a big baby with emotional issues." Kylo, who was not even facing me, turned around, walked up to me (he was about six inches taller than me), looked me right in the face, and replied, "And you are clearly a sympathizer of the Resistance."

It was awesome. And terrifying. :scared:

OMG your interaction with Kylo is hilarious. :P You guys must have been exhausted by that point! That's crazy and awesome that you snagged a FP for TSMM so late in the day, too! Sounds like a fun night. :)

I really liked this ride, I thought it was super cute! It reminded me of the Finding Nemo ride in EPCOT. You’re on an ongoing loop and it just takes you through scenes from the movie with snippets of the songs. Anybody else think that Ursula was really creepy on this ride? If I was a young child on this ride, I definitely would’ve been spooked by this!

Ha ha! We got STOPPED right in front of her... thankfully, they turned her down though...

Haha, oh my gosh, that's hilarious! I don't blame your son for being scared of him though, he's just so intimidating!

Lol we were DEFINITELY exhausted but we just kept saying "when in Rome" and kept on chugging! I was surprised about that fast pass too- low cloud season ftw!

Ha ha! We got STOPPED right in front of her... thankfully, they turned her down though...
ehhh, that's no fun! I don't know what I would have done if that was me lol. :sad1:

Just got through your Kylo experience. He is kinda terrifying, LOL! But... my youngest kid decided to join him and declared his allegiance to the dark side... oops?

We were there at the same time as you, but we were in Epcot on Friday, so I don't guess we crossed paths anywhere...

I thought I had escaped unscathed when the Character attendant (who looked like a CP) Pointed to my button and said "Hey Kylo, what to you think of that?". He just came really close and shook his hand and then said "We don't talk about him.". Both us us gave a nervous laugh and basically ran away :rotfl:.

omg this is adorable and I laughed super hard! Need to watch your last vlog - they're so cute!

January 27, 2017 (Part 12)
Bean Bunny? There's Nothin' Up There But A Bunny... A BUNNY?!?!
After leaving Kylo, we came out into a gift shop and we looked for pins (who’s surprised?).:scratchin
Then we went outside the Launch Bay and I saw a penny press machine with Star Wars characters on them. So I headed over to it and picked the one I wanted and then swiped my card… then I swiped it again… and again. Nothing was happening! A Cast Member finally came over and tried to help and was swiping my card again and again and nothing was working. So I finally give up, I guess Disney didn’t want to give my pressed penny. :confused3

Just in case anyone is curious- yes, I did check my bank statement and make sure my card wasn’t charged 10 times for a pressed penny. LOL. :rotfl:
We still had a little over an hour before the park closed so we headed across the park to MuppetVision3D. Guys, I was so hype for this. I have no idea where my Muppet Obsession sprouted from but I’m so obsessed. I love all of the newer movies and I think they are so funny! There was nobody in line or in the big waiting area so we just bopped around, having a good time.

If you’ve seen the vlog, you’ll know we were pretty slap happy by this point so I’m sure we looked ridiculous. I also had remembered that I hadn’t documented Rachel’s ParkBound Buttons so I took a picture of that to show you guys! The “It’s my birthday” badge got a lot of compliments and I think it stood out more than the normal ones that they give out in the parks. This meant that Rachel experienced a lot more of special birthday moments on our trip!

The doors finally opened and I swear I enjoyed this show more than I have ever before. I don’t know why I never realized the lone “Bean Bunny? There ain’t nothin’ up there but a bunny… A BUNNY?!?!!” Came from this show! I remember Kristen the Frump would always say that in the Frump trip videos it was so funny! I’m guessing it was funnier because of the level of slap happy I was but nonetheless, I loved it.:lovestruc
When we came out, we had planned on going to Star Tours but the ride went down just as we got there so that was a no go. :sad1:Luckily, there wasn’t anyone around which meant I could get a picture on the speeder!

ANYWAYY, we headed out to our bus. I always find that it is so hard to find my resort bus whenever I'm at DHS, it’s so confusing! We had to run to make it to our bus but at least we didn’t miss it!:thumbsup2

When we got to our resort, we decided we wanted a little something sweet to take back to our room. We headed over to the food court and I decided to get an Oreo milkshake. Rachel went for raspberry gelato and the CM gave it to her for free because of her birthday! While I was waiting for my milkshake, I spotted these ADORABLE pastries in the case!

Cookies and Cream Milkshake: $5.05

We trudged back to our room with sore legs and flopped onto our beds. We turned on the TV and watched Undercover boss while making fun of it and enjoying our ice cream. It was so nice. After that, we showered and got ready for bed and went to sleep!:lovestruc

Next, let me show you how many steps we got in today! My Fitbit said we walked 8 miles that day! And while 18,000 steps might not sound like a lot but on a normal day where I’m doing homework all day, I’ll usually get around 5,000 steps.

Finally, I spent $17.28 on food for the day! (Remember I didn’t include my Starbucks because I had a free giftcard) So far, deciding not to getting then dining plan paid off, let’s see if we continue that streak!

Just got through your Kylo experience. He is kinda terrifying, LOL! But... my youngest kid decided to join him and declared his allegiance to the dark side... oops?

We were there at the same time as you, but we were in Epcot on Friday, so I don't guess we crossed paths anywhere...
Aww that's so cute!! Thanks for including the picture! :) Aw, that stinks that we didn't cross paths that day! Maybe we did another day!

Okay but those Remy pins are adorable! I love them!
I think they were from the Food and Wine Festival last year, I think they were collectibles or something. :thumbsup2

Leaving the Disney Bubble
For day 2 of our trip, Rachel and I had planned that we wanted to get out of the “Disney Bubble” and go to the outlets! We woke up around 8:00 and got ready to go. :cheer2:

We decided that we wanted to go to both outlet malls in Orlando so Rachel got online and bought an I-Drive trolley pass so we could get a cheaper ride than ubering all the way across Orlando. Rachel then called an Uber for us and we headed down to the main hotel entrance. Our Uber driver was waiting for us and he hopped in. We both agreed that getting an Uber is much cheaper than getting a taxi. Every car I have been in has been so much cleaner than a taxi. Our driver was nice but didn’t say much. When we were pulling into the first outlet area (the one closer to the parks) I realized that we were right beside the DCP housing! I got really excited because maybe one day that’s where I’ll be living!:lovestruc

We got dropped of near the back area of the mall and realized that we still had 30 minutes before the stores opened! We just made our way over to the Disney Character Warehouse and waited out in the sun.

It was so nice since it was pretty chilly that morning. There was a surprising amount of people outside waiting with us for the store to open.

I also took this opportunity to call my mom but we didn’t get to talk for long because as soon as we walked into the store, we lost service!:guilty:

It was quite a frenzy in that store and I can understand why! They had so much Disney Parks merchandise at really good prices! The worst part of the whole store was that Rachel and kept getting split up and I couldn’t find her, I was like a lost puppy, in there and I was wondering around until I finally found her again.

They had so much Disney Vera Bradley there too!

Rachel and I ended up with so much stuff in our hands by the end but I narrowed it down to buying a jacket and a ring! I came out only spending $14!

The jacket was a men’s and only $10 and I love it so much! I don't think it looks to man-ly and the price was too good to pass up!

She also got a men’s thermal pull-over and a bunch of pins! I did catch a picture of this one pin set she got. SO. CUTE.

Rachel and I joked that my
jacket and her pull over looked like our we were wearing our boyfriend's clothes. That made me laugh though because I'm a single pringle and so I basically just bought myself my own boyfriend jacket :rotfl:

After that, we headed out and just looked around the shops and finally made our way over to McDonalds across the street. I had to get some coffee! McDonalds literally has the BEST iced coffee and it’s so cheap! :worship:
Large Iced Coffee: $1.99

Then we went back across the street to the bus stop and the bus came super quick. When we tried to get on the trolley, Rachel showed the driver her phone with the email that said that she bought that trolley pass and the driver said “you have to print it out” and Rachel and I where like “....” Because when she bought the passes it didn't say anything about that when she bought it.

The driver was just kind of annoyed and said “just get on. But you’re going to have to print it out to get back on." Bothe of us were a little concerned because we were wondering how in the world we were going to print out the passes from her phone but we didn't really have a choice so we just hopped on.:confused3

Joining in and loving it so far! Your skirts were totally adorable! How much was the uber to the outlet if I can ask.

I just read through your whole report and I can't believe how much you did in one day! I had to go back to the first post to verify that all the park time was on your first day. I've never gone to the outlet mall near WDW, but it looks like you got some great bargains.

I also dislike buying a sweatshirt in the parks due to poor planning. I'd rather have more time to decide which one to pick than getting one out of desperation. On one trip, I was underdressed for the cold temperatures and I didn't want to spend $50ish for a sweatshirt or go back to the room. A friend was buying enough items to qualify to purchase a blanket. She didn't want the blanket, so I just paid her for it and "wore" the blanket the rest of the day. I probably looked ridiculous, but at least I wasn't freezing anymore! I remembered that when I read that Rachel bought a beach towel.

Uber is much cheaper than getting a taxi

And they probably know where they're going! oh my goodness this just reminded me of my Efcot story! When Wizarding World first first opened back in like 2010, I went with my mother and my best friend for the morning - we took a taxi from our hotel to Universal and had a super nice, super interesting taxi driver TO Universal (his mother was a teacher in Haiti, my mother's a teacher, they bonded.)

On our way back? TOTALLY different story! We got into a taxi and the guy must have been new? Or had never read a sign before? Because we said we were going to Epcot (we were meeting my dad for dinner there) and he looked at us and kept repeating "Efcot?" Finally he got us there, but he didn't take the taxi entrance - he went through the maingate and had to pay the $14 parking fee. We barely made it into the parking lot when we saw a tram heading up to the front, told him to just stop and we made a run for the tram stop while my mother paid.

Omg, the memories! lol!

I was like a lost puppy, in there and I was wondering around until I finally found her again

oh no! That's happened to me before - I lost my friend (same one from the above story of course lol) in the Emporium in Disneyland and just wandered around looking for her!

You guys did do a lot in one day!! Single pringle - never heard that one! I cannot wait to hear the print it out result :)

Thank you, our Uber was about $8-$10 each way if I remember right :)

Haha we couldn't quite believe we did so much in one day either! We thought abut buying a blanket too but neither of us wanted t spend $50 on march to qualify for it. I wish they would just sell them individually. But hey, desperate times call for desperate measures- I totally would've walked around with a blanket wrapped around me if I had one, lol!

That's crazy about your taxi diver, I can't believe he was allowed to be driving the taxi if he didn't know how to get around Disney! "Efcot" though, that's hilarious!

Getting lost really stinks, I always manage to do it at least once per trip and I always start having a mini panic!

Haha, I don't know where single pringle originated from but I'm pretty sure I use it at least once per day :rotfl: Also: what are you referring to when you say "the print it out result"? I'm sure it's obvious but I have the worst short-term memory and sometimes I don't even remember what I typed up in my last post, lol!

Sorry :) - I am just curious if you were able to ever get on the bus without having something printed out.
