You asked for it. What do you absolutely hate about CSR?

This was the problem we had and it made things take way too long. We did well for breakfast, I guess since most of the food was already prepared it didn't take too long, but we probably won't go back to PM until the kids can come help get their own food. I didn't realize that the servers were supposed to refill your drinks. No one ever refilled ours the three times we ate there and we always did it ourselves.
Things take longer because they are made fresh and not sitting under heat lamps.

I have read every post so far and still cant think of a thing that we hate about this resort. we go at least 3 times a year and everytime have never encountered any rude staff or problems with our rooms. we always are either in casita 1 or cabanas near the bus stop. the pepper market is awesome- so much nicer than your other moderate food courts. the selection is always fresh and its so nice to be served drinks at your table. the pool area is a huge hit with my family along with the hammocks and playing in the sand. we will take one day just to hang out by the pool, take a surrey bike, feed the fish and play a game of soccer in the grass. its beautiful during the holiday season and I just love the christmas tree they have by the big window near where we check in. the refridgerators are a added plus and the rooms are always spotless. we never have encountered a long wait for a bus or lines- thanks to those conventions going on! I guess it depends on what your expectations are and your likes and dislikes when it comes to picking a favorite resort.

I'm with you. Ditto, ditto, ditto. Love this resort!!

I enjoyed our stay at CSR in Oct of 03 -- we're going back in Sept.

I noted no particular noise from neighbors (though I don't believe ours had children, so that would tend to keep noise down).

Mousekeeping was just fine -- the one night my niece and nephew stayed with us so their parents could have a night out, we ordered a cot and expected to pay for it, but they never billed us. No towel animals, though!

Disliked the Pepper Market. We tended to be there at off hours and food WAS just sitting there. Had some delicious stuff a la carte from the salad bar, though -- the chicken they had for topping a salad looked 1000% better than anything in the hot food section! Took it back to the room and it was delish. But we definitely didn't feel like we had many options -- and the place was still open, ergo we should have had a decent amount of choice. We'll probably grab breakfast there to use up counter service meals on our dining plan -- I remember the breakfasts as decent but expensive. Don't recall any bad attitudes from the staff, but the whole layout and procedure was offputting.

We had our own car, parked in the lot outside cabanas and found it extremely convenient. In fact, we decided to come back to this resort mainly because the driving convenience -- right on and off the highway makes it a swift trip to all the parks. I'd hate to have to do some of the twisty secondary roads every single day just to get to and from my hotel room -- too many crazy out of state drivers in a daze!

We're planning to spend more time at the resort this time around, too -- barely got to the pool last time.
