Thanks for the advice. This is all excellent news. I thought by that time, the crowds would be worse. It's great to know they won't be.

wlwilliams, that's also great to know that I'll probably be all checked in by 11am...and hopefully my rooms will be ready early.

Wow, so I guess i'll have to decide what we want to do that first night, besides HM of course. We have 2 more days at MK besides this first night, so we can take it easy and maybe let the kids look at the maps we have and pick a ride/attraction they would like to do that first night.

Lizzie is waiting very impatiently to ride Dumbo. So, we'll probably check the line on that first, and do a few things in Fantasyland.


By the way did anyone watch the Jon and Kate plus 8 episode at 10pm last night. I know it's a repeat, but I didn't catch it the first time around. They took a road trip to Disney World and stayed at the Wilderness lodge. I was getting so excited watching them pack. It was like watching a pre trip report. I LOVED IT!!!!

Just a warning! Dumbo will have at least a 30 minute wait. It will be like this no matter what time you try to ride it!!

You took the words right out of my mouth........... The one and only time we rode Dumbo, it was on one of our Feb. trips, it was cold, raining and it was getting close to park closing time, and we still waited about an hour to ride..........

Oh, ok, thanks for the Dumbo warning. I think we'll check out the wait time and if it's 30 min. or more we'll just wait. We can always hit Dumbo first thing in the morning when we go to MK for Rope Drop.

I am planning on going to the meet. I haven't committed yet because last year when I did I wasn't able to make it. I wasn't feeling well and I don't want to jinx this one........lol. I wish I was going to be there for the 13th meet too. It would be so nice to meet all my Dis friends.

I want to go to that one too. I tried playing with my schedule, to switch days around to be in Epcot that day ( we do not have park hopper) but every way I changed it, I wasn't happy with the other days. So I don't know, it's still a possibility.

So I was just reading about the Kim Possible "hunt" through the world showcase with the Kimmunicator. That looks like a lot of fun. Is anyone planning on doing this. Has anyone here done it before (I know it's new, i'm just not sure how new)
I think Emily and Anthony will really enjoy this. Lizzie and Sam, not too sure. But they'll be fine, we were planning on touring the WS anyway.
I think i'm going to post a few questions about this on the "disney for families" thread. I would like to know if doing the WS for the first time ,will we still be able to enjoy everything while playing this game or is this something we should do separate from actually touring the WS

I don't know, but Emily used to be a HUGE Kim Possible fan when she was about 4 and 5, so she will be very excited about this!

We are definitely planning on doing the Kim Possible Adventure. It looks like so much fun! My boys are not big Kim Possible fans but I think it will be a fun way to enjoy the WS. If you look at the Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies board I think you will find several reviews.

Thanks, I just checked out a few threads, and this sounds like so much fun.It really sounds like something me,dh, and all of the kids are going to enjoy.
I found out that you pick up your "cell phone" and it directs you to a country for a mission. I heard that each mission takes about 30-45 minutes, and after you complete each one, you have a choice to drop the phone off and be done, or go to another country for another mission.
When you go to get your "phone" if it's a busy day , you'll end up getting a time and a place to come back to and pick up your phone and start your mission.
THIS JUST SOUNDS LIKE SO MUCH FUN!!!!!
We dedicated a separate day to the WS (we're doing FW on a different day) so we'll have plenty of time to tour the WS and play this game. I don't know if I should tell the kids or surprise them with this. My dd9 I know is going to be ecstatic over this!!!
If anyone has any experiences with this i'd love to hear them!!

As for the shirts, thank you, I surprised myself in how good they came out too. But they really were not that expensive. The transfer paper was about $8 for a pack of 6 and I bought clearance t's and tanks tops from walmart.com and target. But my kids NEEDED new clothes for Disney anyway, they all seemed to have had a growth spurt over the winter, and I had to buy stuff. So I guess if you've already got all the summer clothes you need, then I would consider it expensive cause you gotta go buy more shirts. But it was FUN, I had a blast making them, we would all gather around the shirt when I was about to peel the transfer paper off, and the kids would start oooohing and aaahhhing. It was fun, I'm even thinking about doing another set.

Yea, I can't wait!! Mine is still kinda quick, but that's alright. I did put some pictures up...finally got it figured out!! I made some shirts for my birthday, now every time I turn around, I'm buying SHIRTS!!! That's how it's getting expensive for me! LOL DH just says, oh no not another one! I always tell him that I don't have that color, or it'll go JUST RIGHT with what I just got...HAHAHA

I didn't do it when I was there, because I didn't know what it was. But as I was wandering through World Showcase, I saw people who were participating and they looked like they were having sooo much fun!!

So this weekend was gorgeous!!!! It was 60 degrees yesterday and about 52 today!!!
A few days ago we were playing in 9 inches of snow, and this weekend we were out walking on the bike path, here are a few pictures of our weekend.

Then we saw some ducks walking around on the slushy ice, they were so cute, you could hear their little feet walking through the slush, the kids were laughing.

Did anybody else have awesome weather this weekend. It makes Disney feel much closer knowing that spring is coming.

We had a beautiful day on Friday. It reached a high of 67 degrees. Sat & Sun have been poopy though, 37 and RAINY. Yuck! I can't wait for nice weather, I'm sick of winter...come on spring!!!

Did I read you're making more shirts....can't wait to see them!
