YoHo, YoHo, A Mother's Day Trip to the Mouse!

WOO HOO, WE'RE OUT OF THE 80s. ONLY 79 DAYS UNTIL WE GO TO DISNEY WORLD. :dance3: :dance3:

We're planning Sam's 5th Birthday Party today. We went online and made Invitations. I'll post a picture of them when I pick them up later on today. Her birthday party is 3 weeks from today, so I figured, i'd better get going on the invites. We usually do her party at Chuck e Cheese. But seeing how Disney is coming up, i'd rather just have a party at the house. Chuck e cheese runs us about $300. I wasn't sure if Sam was going to be bummed out, but she's just as happy to have her party here. I was relieved. She wants it all Wall-e themed, and can't wait to decorate.

We live between a major airport and a smaller one. In the summer, Emily and I lay in the grass and watch the airplanes fly over head. I think we'll have to find a spot to go watch them take-off and land! That would be fun!

I can't wait to see the invites and to here about the Wall-E theme!

So between walmart, target, and iparty there are no wall-e birthday decorations. I did pick up Sam's birthday invitations though!
And I did go to Home Depot for bertegirl's lime green mickey heads:thumbsup2

Joining the party party:.

I have been trying to talk my crew into the QSDP but they are not buying into it. We did the DDP last year and it was not for us. We felt like we were tied to ADRs and everyday was planned around eating.

Loving your report and waiting for me :surfweb:.

WOOOOOO HOOOOO tomorrow is Mardi Gras day here.

Thanks for joining along. That is why we are going with the QSDP, so we don't have to be tied down to reservations. This is our first time going to Disney, and we just wanted to eat when we were hungry and that's it. I'm pretty excited about it. Plus you get the refillable mugs with it, It seems like a pretty good deal. Soon enough i'll know for sure.

So dh and I were talking about Sam's birthday Party and he really wants to do it at Chuck E Cheese! So after talking we said we'd do it there. Sam was fine with having the party here but of course she's even happier now. SO, Chuck e Cheese it is. I reserved the Party for Sunday March 15 at 3pm. She brought her invitations to school today for her little friends and put the rest in the mailbox. My kids LOVE to mail their invitations. So here they are.

And while we were picking them up a Walmart, she suckered me into this.

This cute little Bratz Kidz, with about 6 different clip on hair do's and 3 clip on outfits, its really quite cute.

So my wisdom tooth is bothering me today. It's been half up for years, but every few months or so I guess it moves, and it hurts me for 2 or 3 days. It's a little bit better today compared to yesterday, but it still hurts!:scared:

And a Supervisor's position just opened up on 3rd shift at work, and my boss said I could have it if I wanted it. So i'm really confused with that today. I love my team at work and love the other supervisors, I really don't want to leave 2nd shift, but I would have so much more time with the kids working 3rd shift. I'd be home everyday after school and available for all of the activities. So, that's been on my mind for the past few days. I'm still not sure. Although I kind of gotta make up my mind and let my boss know before he starts interviewing others for it. I guess i'm just really afraid of being too tired. And how i'm going to sleep when they are on summer vacation. Oh, I don't know!

She is really a cutie!! :cutie:

Good luck with the job decision. Weigh out the pros and cons and see which shift comes out ahead. That's a tough one! Keep us posted!

Party at Chuck E. Cheese!! :woohoo: :woohoo: I've been through 3 boys and have managed to escape having any parties at Chuck E. Cheese. My DH probably has a lot to do with that! It's not his favorite place! ;)

Yea, the decision about the job is really getting on my nerves today. I actually just told myself a few minutes ago, to stop thinking about it for now.... But...Not working.

Wow, so you escaped Chuck e Cheese parties, good job. I was fine until Sam came along. She loves the place, the other 3 really never cared for it. They like it when we are there. But could do without it. When my stepson was 3 we had his party there, but this was it. Now this is Sam's 3rd year in a row there. It's kind of like her special place now, cause we don't really go during the year, i'm not A Huge fan of place myself. So she associates it with her Bday.. So cute.

Sammy is such a cutie!! I love the picture on the invitation! Emily's b-day is in July so we usually have her party at the spray park. Last year we did take her to Chuck E Cheese for dinner on her birthday because her party was the weekend before. I'm not a huge fan of Chuck's either. It was sooo much cooler when I was a kid. I remember it having a cheese maze under the stage where the characters are, a big ball pit and obstacle course. Now it's just games and a maze like McDonalds has. :rotfl:

The girls were so happy to find out the party was at chuck e cheese again this year as that is really the only time they go as well. So what does Miss Sam what for her birthday? Anything Wall-e! I going to call you later this morning after you bring the girls to school. Im probably going to hopping today since i refuse to go to work!!!:scared: Those two dont really go well together

Emily and Lizzie's birthdays are both at the end of June, so we can plan outside parties for them too.
I remember Chuck e Cheese being alot cooler when I was a kid too!!

Yeah, Sam wants Wall-e toys for her birthday! I have to look and see what's out there, and then i'll give you some ideas!
Glad the girls are excited about Sam's party!

WE'RE DOWN TO 75 DAYS UNTIL DISNEY WORLD!!!! EVERY MORNING WHEN WE CHANGE THE DAY ON OUR COUNTDOWN CALENDAR I GET SO EXCITED. I FEEL LIKE EVERY TIME A DAY CHANGES WE ARE WEEKS CLOSER TO GOING!

I WANNA GO NOW. I WANNA GO NOW. I WANNA GO NOW. I WANNA GO NOW.

What a pretty princess you have here. I know how it is when you get suckered into buying a new toy. Dallas is bad about that, well let me re-phrase that, I am bad about falling for that.......:rotfl:.

Taking on new responsibility and changing shifts can be hard. If I have a hard decision to make I write down the pros and cons and see which side outweights the other. If is it a significant raise then that is definately a pro.
Good luck with the decision.

Oh and I know all about the wisdom tooth thing. I had to finally give in and have mine removed last year. It was driving me crazy.

I hear ya!! We take down a Mickey everynight before we go to bed. Emily just took down #70 tonight so you know what that means.....we're in the 60's now!!!

So I don't think i'm going to go for the overnight position. There wouldn't be a raise, I am Supervisor now, and I don't think there is a shift differential. After talking with dh and thinking some more I went against it. I Supervise 18 people and I've done so much work with them and it would kill me to leave, of course my kids come first , but with my youngest only in preschool, I really wouldn't get enough sleep. I don't have babysitters during the day, only on thursday when my Mom doesn't work. So I guess it wouldn't work out as well as I thought. Because of course I really didn't think it out. I just said oh, yeah more time with the kids, lets do it.:scared:

And by the way my tooth feels much better today!!! So Happy!

Ok so we love mini golf and know we are going to play in Disney. Which course do you recommend, I know there are 2 different ones.

I think that you made a great decision. I worked 3rd shift for a year. I totally messed me up. I was never well rested. And that was before I was married and had a child. I couldn't imagine doing it now.

I'm enjoying your PTR. Love all of the shirts!

I am glad you made a decision you are happy with about the job. Avery's 5th bday is April 3rd. We are doing her party at the end of March. This year it will be at the park. Ariel therme. Have fun at CC!!

I think the kids would enjoy Winter Summerland at Blizzard Beach, it's more themed that Fantasia Gardens.:thumbsup2
